Current Illness is not an indulgence which you should pay for nor is it a crime for which you should be punished.

Yeah…to add onto Gareth’s inquiry I am kind of confused on what to do or where to meet actually. I am still not sure how my character is going to bump into Melvin or anyone else at that. I probably should have mentioned that before posting huh? ><' So, are we just to venture to Boreas then by whatever means?
Orchestratic said We could've all thrown in around $4,000, right? Parker could've put in at least 6 - maybe 7 - by using guilt on his dad. Or we could pull out a loan for what we CAN'T cover on a nicer high-end $18,500 one.

Keep in mind that Petra is pretty dirt poor & her father wouldn't be able to loan her jack if she asked. Since she’s also an apprentice she doesn't get paid very well if anything, and that’s pretty generous since she isn't required to pay her trainer. So, I would say the stoner van works well for now along with the trailer & then they can start saving up for a party bus.

Mon, Tue, & Thurs is cool too.
It does sometimes seem like the hospital staff is more on edge during the night for some reason--at least that's been my experience.

Doctors & nurses can be dicks and just because they help people that doesn't exclude them from being horrible human beings like some of humanity too.

It is annoying and disheartening but try not to pay any mind to their bad mood. They probably had to deal with some nasty people during their shift & were taking it out on you.

Anyways, I hope your strep throat doesn't take too long to heal. That fuckin' blows.

Take care & rest.

Don't worry about the delay Josh, tis fine. ^^

Deep in the forest of Izumo under sweeping canopies of lush greens a small self-established camp of outcasts and exiles dwell. Close enough to venture toward the town in case supplies were needed though they made due with everyone’s abilities, and did not need much outside resources. In fact, some had grown bitter in their isolation and preferred steering clear of humanity. Many had been celebrated in some fashion during their life in civilization meaning some were impressive hunters while others used their Thauma for more practical tasks. In some way they had flown above the council’s radar and endangered their lives or that of their families. Narrowly escaping harm and luckily finding their way to others who experienced a similar fate.

Campfires were managed by Efreet wielders during the night while the more offensive users took turns keeping watch. Usually nightfall remained ever so peaceful and sometimes was celebrated with singing and dances to lift the moral and spirits of the oppressed. Lately the forest creatures stirred uncomfortably like a worrisome omen, and others could not help but feel a bit unnerved as well. A tall slender elf sat silently upon a fallen birch with pale pink colored tresses resting against upward arching shoulder armor outlined with thin gold plating. Lucid aquamarine colored eyes were gazing into the memorizing flames illuminating the dim area as she pondered past memories. How soon the tide changes she thought, and how one can be swept up in the current...and drown.

“Lumen!” A sudden plea resounded through the trees and seemed to echo into camp. “Lumen!” The same voice called out and this time stirred the pale elf to stand. Closer the sound of rushing footsteps emerged through the picturesque backdrop. Many bodies were carrying what looked like other wounded individuals in their arms covered with traces of sticky blood. Lumen signaled for the helpers to place the small injured group down onto the moss kissed ground while she raised her twisted wooden staff into the air. "Hurtless circle" she whispered and a tiny beam emitted above, which expanded to a massive sphere of azure and white blinding light. Two broad circles of the same colors began swirling below the damaged before the large sphere expended rays of light healing all.

“Non-elves who have escaped the hands of the council.” A lean male human said after the ritual had commenced.

“Rallying most likely, when will they learn?” Lumen replied shaking her head in discontentment but then something else got her attention. She raised her head toward the sky and inhaled while her crystalline eyes narrowed. If the sky had not been so clear the smoke would have surly gone unnoticed, and the slight breeze had managed to sweep the smog over the forest just enough.

“I am going into the village Mathias, something is not right.”

“What about the curfew Lumen—“

“Mathias, look over the newcomers and awaken Lendel. Have him take watch. Perhaps now is the time for me to take my leave of you. Thank you, for everything you have done. I am going to search for some answers, regardless if the smoke is a sign or not. Tell the others not to search for me.” With that she sprinted into the direction of the town to further investigate, and would not stop until reaching the outskirts.

True that. ^^

& have you still not found a picture Tyler?

I am excellent at scouting out pictures so what are you looking for?

Guarantee I can find you a gorgeous one. lol
Awe, thank you.

You also didn't have to put your work into a hider on my behalf.

I really like how detailed you made Matthews history though.

You really get a sense of his life & I love to read so the more text the merrier, I always say.

^^

-is excited to get this show on the road no pun intended-

& the waffle huh? Sounds delicious.
Orchestratic said I guess you don't really know this about me but I'm the most racist person who isn't actually racist.

I am black, white, & Cherokee.

I make fun of being black and Cherokee constantly--ya know, cause white people have it so easy. ^^

Orchestratic said Good! I'm still looking for my picture on dA but I don't understand how to find pictures of people I'm looking for on dA. Just random portraits. xD

type in something that you are looking for like a keyword. example: blue hair. then click search.

on the side it has categories and you can click" photography".

then if you find a picture that's kind of what you are looking for hover over it and click "browse more like these".

then it should start to narrow down.

hopefully that somewhat helped. ^^

& holy walls of text Josh. ゜Д゜

Name: Petra Constantinou

Stage name: Petra Antar

Age: 23

Instruments: Guitar, Vocals

Other talents: Illustration, has a steady hand like a surgeon

Day Job: Apprentice piercer/tattoo artist at Voltic

Bio: Petra and twin brother Milo were happily born on the small island of Thera in Greece, and raised there without many glitches until the age of 7. Parents divorced when they turned 5 and their mother soon fell in lust with a vacationer. After marrying the foreigner he continued to make it abundantly clear that children were not his cup of tea and asked if their father could take the children. Their father, on the other hand, had found a job in the States by this time and decided to take them in regardless of his poor income. Petra and Milo were greeted warmly in San Francisco and loved every minute exploring the bizarre wonders this kooky place had to offer while growing up. Their father took numerous odd jobs to make ends meet and received food and other goodies from neighbors and friends to help raise two budding children.

Since their father was understandably never home rules were lax and Milo began rebelling at 13 and getting into trouble. Their father took out another loan and bought a sparkling new guitar originally for Milo and a microphone along with stand for Petra, hoping this hobby would keep the duo out of trouble. This tactic worked for a while and both remained focused on mastering the art of music. After school both would run home to practice and switch instruments. Since music lessons were terribly expensive and definitely out of the question both teens were self-taught. By 16 Milo had made friends with the downtown music scene and continued to brush up on his skills. He dropped out of school and moved in with a couple of shady people.

Petra wanted to follow Milo around like a shadow but weeks, months, and then years passed without any notice from him or his whereabouts. She went ahead and graduated, moved in with friends and by 18 finally got back in contact with Milo whose band “Aeon to Oblivion” had become well known. High school had polished her music reading skills and she already had a knack for playing guitar. Flaunting her skills around Milo every chance in hopes of joining his band. Finally he asked Mathew the former guitarist to resign and handed that position to Petra who was ecstatic. Things seemed to be going well for a year but Milo’s rapid decay became quite noticeable, mentions of this were brushed off, and he denied having a drug problem. Petra found his cold body backstage with a needle still in his vein…cause of death being an overdose. Her whole world fell apart that day.

Painfully two years passed trying to carry along Milo’s budding legacy but the heart of the band died along with him. Feeling hopeless and completely alone she turned her attention to a bottle of sleeping pills only to wash them down with a bottle of tequila behind the wheel of Milo’s beloved muscle car. It was a mystery how she survived. The hospital admitted Petra for a couple of months so she could receive treatment, and met Parker out of the blue who had been visiting his mother. They immediately hit it off and began to spend many days and nights together, which resulted in them eventually dating. Unfamiliar feelings of trust and perhaps something more soon stirred for her, and he began inspiring her to write lyrics as well as pick up the guitar once again.

They affably parted ways but kept in touch while she went to college for a semester. The money her father had tirelessly saved from working went down the gutter extremely fast from past hospital and medical bills. She could not afford to return and just as well was unable to relate to the teachings. Petra hitchhiked around the world for a while with a stray Doberman called Crocell, which was named after a video game character. She stopped at different hole in the wall places searching for underground artists to hang with but turned down offers to join bands. Money was scarce and a newly written letter from Parker suggested she move to Hollywood to join a band he had helped bring to life.

Fast forward to present day and Petra now lives at a dumpy motel Called Sunrise Plaza in Hollywood near Parker’s studio at Stabulum Quarters. She can be found wandering around the boardwalk with Crocell, practicing with the band, working at Voltic, or spending what little money she has at a music shop Søren works at.

Personality: Petra use to be shy but has since grown out of that trait and has now become a bit brazen. Some would call her arrogant though she prefers the term confident instead. Although she appears to not care about the opinions of others she truly does deep down. She loves to laugh and add lots of sarcasm to her chats. If serious conversations are what one seeks they probably will not find them with her on a regular basis. She has no qualms about fighting or getting physical when confrontations arise though this is rare. Like the majority of humankind Petra has a more compassionate side though it is not practiced too often.
phew.

-wipes brow-

hopefully that's fine.
