Rachel thanked Spartan as he helped her to the table and helped her sit down, closing her eyes to rest for a second but not long enough for her to pass out again, not when they were so close to finding out about that mark the Angel's leader gave her, not when they were so close to finding out what it is and what it is doing to her.
"Right, lets have a look at this" she muttered as she opened to the first page and skimmed through it, been a while since I have read a book, glad to know I haven't forgotten how to read" she joked a little though she was rather slow at reading.
It was about halfway through the book before Rachel recognised what she was looking for, the same marking and text about it "Oh here it is I found it!" She showed Spartan "It seems that it is disrupting my powers, that would be why my wings have been withdrawn" She read looking serious.

But you need to be assertive, if he tries to ague all you have to say is No. nothing more nothing less. just no to everything he tries to throw at you with no change in tone or anything.

And as a kid you need to learn that you can not always get away with that sort of stuff without asking first.
I sure learnt that when I was a kid.
hmm in other words. I'm not saying to not let him play his minecraft, just get him to learn to ask first and that just taking anything you want whenever without making it is alright with others is not acceptable

Rachel slowly and unsure took the book from the woman and slowly brought it back to herself, eyes never leaving the woman even as she started to leave, finding herself rather confused as she started to make strange hand gestures.

You know what Nac? Don't even let him do that. if he does unplug his laptop and tell him to bugger off and to stop being such a selfish brat.
