TL;DR Ver: "Okay LYNX, we're gonna put you in this here cockpit and literally wire your nerves into this robot. Then you'll be all badass and shit. Sound good?"

It's also likely there are relevant surgeries like, I dunno, replacing your bones or hardening your skin or something so the EXTRA HUGE G forces of quickboosting and overboosting and such don't turn you into chunky salsa in the cockpit.

Also, may we please start out as normal pilots like Don Colonel was? I really love that 'theme' of progression, ascending to entirely different levels, y'know? If no one else wants to, I'd at least like to start out as a normie pilot. No one else has to.

Since I'm a gigantic nerd when it comes to all of armored core, you can also ask me any time about any questions like "hey normals are basically pre ac4 ac's right, so how was the actual gameplay in comparison. y'know for RP 'authenticity'?".

Also, for my character, would everyone else be good with a sort of Barbaroi/Don Colonel mix with some other stuff thrown in? Also, grill or dude? Basically, some dude/chick who used to be a normal pilot and has technically horrible AMS compatibility, but decides instead to take on lethal amounts of mental stress instead? Maybe a love of kojima weapons and assault armor, too? I mean I love the hell out of those, so why not, right? heh.

Oh, and how will you be handling the previously existing characters, E.G. Wong Shao Lung, Otsdarva, and/or Dario Empio? Will each of our characters have an 'Operator' figure? Or will we share one?

Finally, can I request that the 'canon' story path choice was the 'Destruction' path? (e.g. Strayed sided with old king in the end and MURDERED. EVERRRRYTHIIIING)

For Imgor:
He returns back to the path to Oakstown, and after quite a while he arrives. As the name implies, most of the town's housings are made of wood, harvested from the silent forest. It's not that large of a town, usually hovering around a hundred people taking residence, but that's understandable considering it's proximity to the dangerous forest. You walk down the central road to the local Duke's small castle, walled roughly in the center of the village, yet the guards at the outer most gate inform you that they're not taking visitors currently. They also ask you why you need to speak with the Courts' Wizard anyway.

For Alexander:
As Alexander walked further into the forest, he'll start hearing things in the distance. The chirping of birds, the footsteps of vermin... It's marvelous how alive this forest is. After what feels like a half of an hour of wandering, (and making sure to leave a trail), he thinks he sees a fox in a bush somewhere eating a prey animal. Before you can see what it was hunting, another loud noise, but it sounds less natural... Almost like a firearm, or an explosion? Amaryllis and Nickolaus would hear it too, but much less so, sort of merging with the rest of the forests' natural noises.

Shieet, my mental image of everyone is getting better and better every time someone posts. This is gonna be so good.

Hearts of Metal: A Giant Robot/Mecha RP

Koehler continued waiting while looking at his new surroundings. A spherical cockpit, the front lined with all sorts of panels, energy levels, ammunition for his shotgun, thruster statuses, G forces, bla bla bla bla bla... "Why do things so big have to be so complicated...". At least his seat was comfortable, that was always good. Don't want to have to worry about a hurting spine while fighting for your life, right?

He begins to wonder if his old friend successfully smuggled in that 'Kepler Grass'. Yeah, right. 'Kepler Grass', some really good narcotics originally found on one of the Kepler planets. Some good shit. It could probably calm down a Cruxi for a few minutes. Ah, drugs, the answer to, and cause of all of life's little problems. Music too, good music and some 'KG' can calm anyone down, great combo.

Speaking of music, "Hey, everyone hear me? Would anyone give a shit if I started playing some old-ass music over the radio? Pretty great! I think it was made when earth was the only planet under humanity's rule, in like the original 2000's or something for a video game.", He continued, "Well I'm playing it anyway. I think it's perfect."

"Hey, wait, wait," he said "Lemme get 'in character'. He puts on the most 'metalhead' voice he can, "THIIIIS IS DJ METALFACE, LIVE FROM THE ARENAAA! TODAY WE'RE PLAYING MYSTERY TRACK #1 FOR ALL OF THOSE BRAVE PILOTS! RAARRRRGH!" He then actually plays the track from a tiny music player he apparently smuggled in with himself.

"But yeah let's do this shit! All systems ready!". He looked over all systems one last time, some good 'fighty' music makes him fight a little better, he thinks. Probably just a placebo affect, really. Left hand control? Check... Right hand? Check... feet? Still there... Yep, seems like everything was good. Amazing how the Roxy is fit with what's effectively a 'scanner' to further assist the pilot control his machine, reading his body motions for more specific control.

He made 'Roxy' do a little dance waiting, tapping it's foot and testing to make sure it's Pile-Bunker was working. CHNK! RRRN! CHNK! RRRN!. Yep, Stake firing mechanisms and retrieval was working 100%. Good. Thrusters? FWWWWWSSSHHHH. fired at minimum power, exhaust is firing. Also good. Emergency thrusters? WRRRR, FSSHHHHHH. Yep! All systems absolutely working.

Good to know, and I think I'll be IC playing some music for giggles. Koehler seems like that kind of guy to play some metal or something over the radio to make the fight more 'fun'.
