Well... you should do that. You wanna be the GM right? Then explain what the players will be doing for the RP.

Isn't that, y'know... really freaking meta? We'd be roleplaying to get away from the tedium of life... as people roleplaying to get away from the tedium of life... possibly, JUST POSSIBLY, roleplaying as people to get away from the tedium of life!
DO YOU REALIZE WHAT PARADOX YOU MIGHT'VE CREATED? If we're doing this, are there different 'levels' of fiction? the deeper you go into fiction, the 'more fictional' it is? WOULDNT THAT MAKE US JUST ANOTHER DEPTH THEN? IF WE'RE JUST ANOTHER DEPTH, BY DEFINITION, there has to be somthing above us that is 'more real'!

Well the main thing that would help is also explaining what sorta stuff the players will be doing.
I assume they'll be warding away unseen predators, trying to domesticate promising animals, homestead for their fellow colonists, and try to communicate/eliminate with any sentient inhabitants, if they exist?

Alright, lemme get this shit straight.
Basically, it's almost like we'd be writing up a collaborative setting for all of us, sort of like how marvel and DC did with multiple authors over a very long period of time? I'm very interested in this, and I believe me and a few friends would find it fun to do. I'll be GM for one of the things. Anyway, I'd assume you'd be the 'head-author', correct? Suggesting storylines and whatnot and making sure each sub-arc and 'area' all make sense when taken as a greater whole?
For one thing, I'd also like to say that I want to do the 'supermanish' heroes of this universe. Y'know, classic heroes who always do the right thing because it's the right thing to do and whatnot. Of course, I wanna play the original tropes of comic books straight, but I still wanna play with em. Y'know, making pedastrians poke fun at my little batch of superheroes because they're wearing skintight spandex and with names like "Ultradude" or "Firegirl".
Also, as DC and Marvel and whatnot, their different arcs and characters 'feel' different in terms of idealism/cynicism, I propose we do the same with our little triple cities you want. One should be quite grimdark, the other very noblebright, and the last should just be very realistic and grey. Y'know, since I wanna do a classical superhero type deal, if I was GM my villains would most likely usually kick puppies, but have very understandble, ultimately 'good' intentions, just very bad ways to do those, and my players' heroes would be near messiah figures. The in-betweener RP will have the most realistic, grey perspective of it, the heroes not being complete white hats, nor the badguys being all horrible people. The dark one would be a complete crapsack view on the world, with the heroes barely being better then the demonic, antichrist like bad guys.
Of course I'm just spewing shit that sounds good out of my mouth and offering suggestions that likely don't make sense, but in essence i'm very interested and I would like to be one of those GM's.
