With a population of 500 million, Glorious Krosniyque is easily the largest of the nations in terms of population, and is definitely up there in terms of just plain surface area.
Krosniyque was formed after a second, more violent revolution in what used to be Russia. In 2056, the government was overthrown by a group of terrorists known as "A Borderless Globe", which was formed out of Russia's own military, being highly angered and frustrated, as they percieved the politicians and other leaders of their nation to be 'spineless whelps obsessed with borders, and the weight of their own pockets'. After two years of severely heavy fighting, the rebellion won, and Russia was turned into an even more militaristic state. Eventually, this too died, yet quietly; all that remains is its' husk, the nation of Krosniyque.
Krosniyque was born just a few decades ago in 2085 after the previous government peacefully dissolved (in comparison). As humanity learned that it would die very soon without action, Krosniyque's current leader, Anton Myasnikov, decided he would be the one to pave the way for his nations' future. Krosniyques' vast population, industrial capacity, and (sadly lacking, for now) research output has been put to solving this issue. Krosniyques' plan is to first affirm its' own dominance; through subterfuge, brute force, or intimidation, Krosniyque will not focus on being the first to win this new space race: it will focus on making sure the others lose.
To assist in this endeavor, being forged from the remnants of a highly militarized state, Krosniyque will not have to worry about being attacked. After all, Russia is hard enough to attack with its' difficult climate, which helps the grand 'Web of Russia' left behind by previous ages that has stood tall the entire time. This great defense network, made from Cruise missile facilities, artillery cannons, short-range drone control centers, and a few nukes hidden deep underground assures that Krosniyque will be able to handle any attempt at conquering it.
Of course... The Web is degenerating at a steady pace. As much money, resources, and just plain knowledge was lost over the years, spare parts, ammunition, and technical know-how for all of these emplacements is simply lacking. The Defense Web is a husk of its' former self. It should simply stop working in its' entirety a few years down the line, but Krosniyque will likely (Read: hopefully) be able to stand on its' own at that time.
Aside from vast population, just plain surface area, and its' mighty defensive network, Krosniyque has little up its' sleeve. Indeed, even the defensive network is only able to be used to that capacity, as nearly all of its' weapon systems are suited for extreme, localized power; not range. While they severely out range most mobile armaments, they still aren't far-reaching enough to hit any other of the nations.
Krosniyque, obviously, is based in what used to be Russia. Their government is stable. They have;

Rich farmland
Solid Production Industry
And 40 Billion Krosniyque Trading Units
