man, I have one hell of a tendency to not do much for a few days then BAM, outta nowhere!
The 'Bloody Champ' continued its' maneuvers and attacks, firing another volley as the P.M.'s barrage of missiles began to maneuver themselves and try to ensure a hit. Percy groggily yelled at the 'Bloody Champ's pilot, and... got a reply! "Wow, kiss your mom with that mouth?" a young woman retorted. "Oh hey, read the forecast? Rainy day. Doesn't happen that often huh? Maybe we should enjoy it... Glory to the best pilot, though."

'Champ' closed the connection. Speaking mostly to herself, "Gee, I'll feel bad killing these guys now...". Just as Bloody-Champ implied, Jingo and Percy just noticed that... it seemed like it would actually rain in a little. That didn't happen often...Perhaps they should enjoy it. The large, dark clouds foreboding a downpour could be seen above. It really doesn't happen often these days...

The BC activated its' thrusters when it was at the 'back' of the trains' perimeter, dodging the outdated missiles, boosting in under them and making them impact behind her. As it closed in, it bobbed and weaved erratically, firing a barrage of bullets at the trains' rear. As the PM was also there, a few of the armor-piercing rounds might've collided, but he wasn't her primary target.

The Captain yelled into her ear-piece as Mad-E went berserk. "Mad-e, Mad-e.. Madison! What are you doing? Your NC isn't designed for that!". The Mad-E's barrage of mortars began to impact the remaining tanks, crippling them even more. The Vulcan-equipped one was blown to hell, a round penetrated a turret, burrowed into the chassis, and blew up, nearly breaking the tank in two and actually blowing off a turret a few meters into the sky. As the Mad-E came closer, it began to rain.

The other-one was a dead-tank crawling, and Elizabeth was notified of the Mad-E actually firing mortars while moving as she began to move in. Reflexively, she managed to dodge them. She continued her plan, and quickly got to the last remaining tank (that wasn't in pieces) and planted a demo-charge on its' front, rocketing away before it could even instinctively shoot back. The occupants were still pissing their pants, which was fortunate. Before detonation, the tank managed to fire off a few shots in futility, and Blur plus the Mad-E could register the both angry, and fearful screams of the occupants inside. "We REFUSE to go down so EASILY!-" was the most notable pre-death boast before the tank's occupant compartment was trashed by the demo-charge that really should be used against armored bunkers.

The Captain 'gave new orders', which was more like trying to salvage the situation... "B-Blur.. Mad-E, Swarm.. Re-group and...Assist team B's efforts.

She deactivated her ear-piece and looked over to Duncan. "Does.. She have anger issues? I swear to god Duncan.. This isn't good. It isn't a great idea for someone with 'issues' to be piloting a walking death-machine that could destroy a military base single handedly!"

The Captain was apparently receiving flashbacks of the worst sort. She snapped out of it, renewed. "Forget it. We'll have a talk about this when it's over.", she turned on her earpiece. "Blur, Mad-E, Swarm, regroup and assist Team B ASAP, time is money." ... "Do it!"
So terribly sorry it's so short and just gets the point across, had a rough day.
The 'Bloody Champ' didn't even answer, and further moved in. It fired off its' shoulder mounted rocket pods at the train, which used its plasma-based point defenses to take out a good portion before impact. "Goddamnit, take them out, escorts. Make an example of them.". After its' barrage, it jinked to the left and began circling the train.

The Volkov Gunships got off their lazy asses and maneuvered into the fog, using the non-intended use of their jet exhuast to blow away portions of the smoke for easier attack. Immediately after, they flew out and fired an accurate stream of rockets at one of them, apparently taking out a track of the vulcan-equipped one, and severely damaging its' armor. Blur's plan was now much easier, and Joe's next barrage could be a bit more accurate. "We aren't completely useless!.. Scratch that, out of rockets.", they noted before half-retreating to the perimeter of the area, beginning to circle.
The disturbing, and seemingly disturbed trinity of man, scorpion, and... something else covered its' primary array of eyes at Alex's flare, gurgling something in pain. It screeched, and retreated backwards some, into the bushery. Of course, as it devastated the shrubbery just a moment ago, it wasn't exactly well-hidden or anything. Its' thick, viscous bile, a sickly green, continued emanating from its' various mouths, making patches where grass wouldn't grow again for weeks.

Meanwhile, further on the same path, Sapphire's new compatriot, Arnold, stopped cold. He turned his head to the left, and to the right, taking in the air. Sapphire could hear something in the distance... it seems like they were picking up the same thing, in their own ways. Arnold seemed to.. laugh? A short one, but authentic nonetheless. "About time! We passed them, must've waited for juicier prey, considering what I'm sensing. ...What, do you do too?"

Ah, seems like Arnold's getting suspicious of Sapphire himself, already. Great.

Sapphire frowned at Arnold. "Yes. I can hear it."

"Hmm... I smell it. It's hard to describe... Most of the people I know of who can do it just call it... the smell of fear, nervousness? Eh, it doesn't really matter does it? We have prey to hunt! I'll race you there, hahahah!", Arnold quickly bolted off, dragging that glorified circular iron slab behind him, its' little spikes making tracks in the dirt pathway...

Sapphire rubbed the back of her neck only then realizing she had her hood off the entire time. With one hand she pulled her hood over head while with the other she reached for her kris.

'I'm not in the mood', she thought and sighed mentally before beginning to jogg, following Arnold.

A few tense moments passed, the Scorpion-Beast just beggining to recover from its' eyes being exposed to a tiny sun for a split-second or two, until Imgor and Alex could sense movement in the distance coming towards them, two people. A bit too far away to tell whom exactly, yet. The Beast itself focused on producing more of that corrosive element and recovering.
The Wessex maneuvered closer to the new NC, and then noted that it was indeed, newer then his. Plenty newer, and it was decked out for anti-NC work. It had anti-armor missiles, aerial mine deployers, and gatling cannons, likely fitted with anti-armor bullets. Due to how it was moving, it likely had fully internal weapons as well, probably its' heavier armaments.

The red enemy NC was IFF'd as 'enemy' obviously, and its' name was apparently 'Bloody Champ', seems to be an independent. It didn't open comms as soon as that was available, which was... odd. It's just an unspoken rule that whenever NC's see eachother as enemies they at least chat for a second before blowing their brains out. Something about honor.

Blur prepped a demo-charge and planted it on the damaged Siege tank before rocketing away, and the Captain notified Swarm that the back-up was a negative for now, and he'd have to maneuver his glorified coffin to not crash too hard. The Mad-e quickly drifted over to the siege tanks as they continued firing, one exploding without her provocation due to a demo-charge, taking it out of the fight. The other-two backed up and began seriously panicking.

"Leader just exploded! Holy fuck, what do we do?! This isn't fair! I didn't sign up for this!", the one leading the Vulcan Tanks' crew ranted. "Calm the hell down, we can still make them pay for this! If we can't win, we'll make victory bittersweet. Continue firing, reload your cannons!". The tank crews got to work, reloading their artillery's heavy shells and vulcan gunpods, while their drivers hauled ass backwards, deploying the anti-laser smoke to buy them a little more time. While it didn't really work against physical weapons at all, it made them difficult to target through the fog.
First things' first, you gotta figure out what you like. For example, I like giant robots and post apocalypticness and such like that. Second, you determine your own skill level. I'd go for either 'free' or 'casual', for a newb such as yourself. Go to the relevant sub-forums (http://www.roleplayerguild.com/forums/3-free-roleplay < free http://www.roleplayerguild.com/forums/4-casual-roleplay < casual), and just snoop around the available RP's. Find one you dig, then usually you're gonna need to fill out a few forms, here they're known as '(Whatever) sheets',but usually, 'Character sheets', although in the nation-RPs they're Nation Sheets, for example. Anyway, you basically say you're interested in the thread, make a post, and put a filled-out CS (should be found in the OP of that thread) inside a hider in your post.

More or less, as long as you think things through thoroughly, you should be peachy-keen fam.

ARRRRRGH WHY DO I HAVE NOTHING FREE

I LOVE TEACHING.

Well yeah, it's nice to see you around though. It's a true shame that I'm not part of anything that has a slot open, I'd love to show you around fully and teach you how to RP.
Yayyy~

First FIGHT FIGHT FIGHT for Team A since the reboot, git ur butts reddy
The three siege-tanks on the horizon, as soon as they noticed the two beefier NC's firing, began counter-attacking with their own armaments. The reasonably damaged command tank focused its' forward-cannons fire on the Mad-E. The second one, in full condition, aimed all four of its' cannons upwards and began firing a barrage of shells towards the Swarm. The third one, equipped with four vulcans instead, aimed two barrels upwards at the swarm of missiles, and the other turret tried to shoot down Mad-E's artillery shell.

The swarm of missiles was thinned out decently, but a few still hit #1, and in its already damaged state the missiles fully disabled its aft turret. The lobbed shell wasn't hit thankfully, and the three tanks were decently damaged by the large cluster of NC-grade explosives. The fairly large amount of shells aimed at Swarm began to impact, a total of three hitting its' lower portions, putting one hell of a dent in its' left leg and damaging its' ability to stay stable. The shells going for Mad-E slammed very hard into her hull, the first few merely putting dents, but the latter half actually doing fairly severe damage. Her right shoulder was hit, missing her cluster-mortar directly but nearly penetrating into the ammo storage of it, and her autocannon was also directly impacted, one barrel was shot away, but it was still technically 'functional'. This was bad, she needed to begin evasive maneuvers, or something!

Akula 1 and Akula 2 began attack-runs after letting the NC's fire the first shots, Akula 1 and 2 went left and right respectively, but they both focused on the 'Point Defense' tank, as that what was most dangerous to them. They fired off their rocket-pods, swarms of the things started to impact Siege Tank #3, a few hitting its' frontal turret enough to blow off its' left vulcan. They used their maneuvering thrusters to dodge incoming counter-fire.

The duo escorting the Paragon Hover-train were having a somewhat better, if boring mission. That is, until a new radar contact came. Wessex's higher-grade sensors could easily see it was an NC. Fully red, with digitigrade legs purpose-built for running and jumping, and a 'large-but-thin' overall profile. Its' head was semi-built into the chest, and it looks to be fully armed. At max-range, even with the Wessex's dedicated sensor suite, you can't tell much else. They loitered a bit, then began to move in. Do they really expect to win this?
