About the stuff on Zenith, I think that 10 copper pieces should be 1 silver piece and 10 silver pieces should be 1 gold piece, just like how metrics work. It's a lot easier to remember, I think.

I considered that, but I wanted Gold to have a little bit more value.

I'm not going to remember that... ._. I considered using Harry Potter currency and making it 17 Silvers in a Gold, and 29 Coppers in a Silver XD

No, I meant as in, can they use abilities on their own, or do they rely solely on summons?

UPDATE:
While everyone was posting, I was creating the world of Zenith and Vexeria in more detail. Here's what I have so far:

Currency:

10 Copper Pieces = 1 Silver Piece, and 25 Silver Pieces = 1 Gold piece.

I'm currently coming up with a standard price list to help illustrate the value of each coin-thing, but keep in mind that this is mostly me going "Yeah, that sounds right." As of right now, I have created some food prices which read like this:

A small loaf of bread - 5 Copper Pieces
An apple - 2 Copper Pieces
Cheese - 4 Copper Pieces

So.... you can buy decent things with copper, apparently. I'm coming up with a price for standard weapons and stuff, so... Yeah!

The World of Zenith

You already know the existence of the Farecian Kingdom. There's another place called that Empire of Astrusias-Cyprus, or more commonly called Astrusias.
The current areas owned by Farecia are as follows: Farecia, Hornfell, and Lurais. More will be added. Ironically enough, Farecia is not the capital of Farecia.

In Zenith, there are 7 major continents with some islands here and there. Although most of the names are TBD, there are two determined continents: The continent of Rudbeckia, the continent with the vast Mahj Desert, and the snowy continent of Cleskan. Other determined areas are the Livistia Marshlands, and the Sadunciera Peninsula and their locations are also TBD

Mystic Artes

In this version, Mystic Artes will be known as Etras Ultima. You can start thinking of what you want your Etra Ultima will be right now, but they will not be introduced until much later in the plot. Basically, an Etra Ultima is a super-powerful move that you can have, that's not restricted by your level, or styles. They will become more potent as your characters progress, and everyone will be able to have one, possibly two eventually.
