Welcome back, Izzy! That's an absolute fabulous idea.

So long as X (and everyone else) is okay with it, we could continue the story in a direction where tensions between humans and mutants continue to rise. During Spring Break they decide to help them get out of the stressful environment by whisking them off to a secret mutant island getaway, created and maintained by a group of peace loving mutants who prefer to keep their distance from humans.

Oh! It could be super cool where the island is divided into four different sections, each one eternally trapped in a particular season. The kids could surf one second and toss on their parkas to go skiing only moments later. It could also provide to be a learning experience for them.

“I've never worked with tech like this.” Astrid allowed her gawking to turn from Steve to the gadgets he revealed. “My knowledge of technology doesn't much surpass my music software. I can't even hack my own e-mail.... I forgot the password.” She gave a sheepish smile, not daring to touch the equipment. She didn't want to fiddle with one and set off a laser and take one of their eyes out. “I don't actually need any offensive weapons...” She turned her body, catching sight of body shaped targets. Her hand moved to the side of her head as though she were readying herself to throw something. Her hand was only empty for a moment before light of gold and blue seemed to collect within her grasp, forming a knife. She hurled it with ease, pegging the paper target in the "head". She smiled a little wider as the knife disappeared, leaving only the hole. “And no smoking gun.”

We've recently finished an "episode" in which some students were taken to the museum and illusion attacked for a "pop quiz" of sorts. Right now many of the students and Professors who've chosen have met/are meeting at a night club that's been rented out for the night and it's basically a huge slumber party with movies, video games, board games, tattoos, and music along with food and drinks obviously. An All Ages Night, as X puts it.

If you direct your gaze to the upper left corner of the OP you'll see that it hasn't been edited in 3 weeks. We've had quite a few drops since then, meaning open slots. I'd edit it. But I can't. And unfortunately, our illustrious and incredibly charming GM has blinky interwebs.
