Judging from the fact it doesn't say anything like area, or AOE in it and only says one strike, I'd say it wasn't intentionally made for AOE.
But I think we will allow it, should be fine.

But I must say, I haven't been paying much attention to sword skills, but I would prefer, not sure about Caits, if you don't use anything other than Tsujikaze, Gengetsu and Ukifune for now. I want to discuss this side of things more with Caits. Probably need to design a few more sword skills to be available as well.

I believe most of the Proper AoE are actually more defensive types (Like Serration Wave)

But one, Leon's character doesn't show up till later, and two, she hasn't been assigned to the initiator role yet, and no animal model yet.

Umichi

"Splits open? What are you on about Suki? That isn't what happens." Umichi turned his head to her and to correct her. "The second it gets struck, it's fruit releases an odor, one that attracts many other Little Nepents, lots of them just spawn around as well as the ones that come from the area." The Nepent was still not moving. "Don't bother with throwing that Fujiwara, it will just make it live longer while bringing more Nepents. The best thing to do is kill it quickly, it should reduce the number that comes out." He breathed in and out slowly. "Guys, get in a square like formation, our backs will be towards each other, if anything gets through let us know, I'll dispatch it quickly." Waiting for the others to get in a formation, he readied his blade. "I'll kill it in one swift swipe, and sprint back."

Once in formation, since <<Sonic Leap>> was still barely on cool down, he used <<Rage Spike>>. Taking it down quickly. An odor could be smelt in the area, they were coming. However, after dashing quickly into position, nothing happened. ... What the? This shouldn't be happening just as his thoughts finished, 35 popped up in front of his face, and another about 50 around the group, none had fruits. The pop up screen saying "Congratulations" for killing the Fruit Nepent had appeared, and he closed it away immediately. "Remember, call out if one gets passed you." He called out. Waiting for the 35 in front of him to come towards him. A group charged at him at once, he counted 10. Deciding he should be able to do this all at once, he activated <<Horizontal Square>>. Although, intended for one monster, with his foot work, he danced around the group of 10, hitting each of them at least once with the <<Sword Skill>>. A few were hit multiple times, it was absolute overkill for those. They dispersed with ease. He took a liking to the skill.

Yumi and Suki seemed to have taken a little damage, but nothing severe he could see. Hearing Suki call out, he turned a little, and saw the Nepent that had gotten passed her. He grabbed his throwing knives, and activated something he recently acquired, <<Triple shot>>, throwing simultaneously three of his knives into the Nepent, taking it down. The damage from throwing is supposed to be fairly low, and most people hadn't been leveling it much, but Umichi used it for aggroing and distraction, allowing it to level up enough to do some decent damage. Also the fact he has the throwing knives added to their damage. In addition to that, the skill he just used landed in one point, doing extra damage like that. Facing back at his mob, I guess a Serration Wave would do quite well, and then I should be able to use that brief moment to take almost all of the rest of the 25 down. he calmly analysed the group, staying aware of the other party members.

Suki

"What really?" Suki was a little confused. She had gotten information that it would split open, and release Little Nepents. She listened to Umichi's order and went into position. How did he know that it releases an odor to attract them? she started to think. When he finished it off, she braced herself. She could smell the odor he mentioned, but nothing was coming. "Um... what's ..." she was about to speak, but then they came. There were 15 of them in front of her. Staying as calm as possible, she dodged some of their attacks, taking down one, and another, using a few strikes for each. Taking down a third, one of them got through. "I missed one!" she called out, worryingly, turning her head towards it, before seeing it shatter. Umichi had thrown some throwing knives. She turned back, and guarded one of the attacks. Her health was still looking healthy, as was Yumi. Yumi was handling herself fine, taking on about 20 Nepents, taking them down with some strikes. Her group had gone down to about 12.

Well, I actually don't know how well Umichi is doing as a leader so far. I don't even know how come he became the leader, it all kind of just fell in place, and he just simply became a leader lol.

On a separate note, you decided your partner yet in black bullet?

By the way, the Little Nepents, you probably shouldn't be able to one hit. Umichi is a higher level and has currently available the strongest weapon. His kind of OP at the moment. It's the reason he can one hit them. (Anneal blade is supposed to be the best weapon, at least until like the 4-6th floor, and his is almost max enhanced).

Screw ups happen, like when the final Large Nepent (not sure if you read posts before you joined) suddenly appeared on top of him. Game glitched, he couldn't predict that occurring and screwed up. Would he still follow him then? Can you blame him? lol

Anyway, can someone tell me what demi does? I know normally it halves (sometimes 1/4 or something like that, depending on which game version) the enemy's health. Is that what it is supposed to do for me? Or are we going to apply some other thing to it?

Will Fujiwara listen to Umichi if he orders something? Just want to make sure.
