An orange color cursor will gradually restore itself to a green color cursor within several hours for the first three infractions committed.[8] For the fourth infraction, the orange color cannot be removed unless the player performs a quest.[8] After the fifth infraction, a player's color cursor will remain permanently orange.[8]

Players with orange cursors are unable to enter villages or streets that have the «Area» effect on. If they try to get into these areas, they will be attacked by NPC guards until they leave the affected area.[9] In order for an orange player to move between floors, they must either walk from floor to floor or use teleportation or corridor crystals.[9]

Player Killers are granted permanent orange colors.[8] While in the linguistic these players are referred to as "Red" players due to their interference with clearing the game, their cursors are not actually red.

Apparently ... the quest is supposed to be valid only once, after that people are supposed to be permanently orange.

He has skill in the pick pocketing
He has stolen before
System counts it as an offense
He would be marked as orange for a while

This would probably be minimum second offense, he would probably be marked orange for a longer period
If third or more, he would be permanently orange.

Also, it wouldn't have been a coin purse that was stolen, just simply some col would be added to your character, so it would be more likely that you would just reduce the col you had.

I think more paths in alchemy would be nice, but not sure about how to do that. Should discuss with Caits at some point.

He would actually appear as an orange player to us, now that I think about it ....

Watching Christian come over to her and kneel to looking into her eyes in question, Komari was a little confused with what his eyes wanted to question. If he was to pay close enough attention, he might be able to see the unease and fear in her eyes, so she turned away a little. Then Sam came and whispered softly to her. His voice had a soothing effect on her, so her eyes no longer showed the fear and unease, although it was still in the back of her mind. She could easily tell they had not an ounce of malice, unlike Monokuma did. Why was his name mixed with Japanese?She questioned in her mind.

"Well, I'd like us to have a private conversation so ... is it okay to go somewhere private?" Komari whispered, indicating with her eyes there were still a few students that showed some signs of danger, but most importantly indicating the cameras. "I think it would be best to find a place without them, or a blind spot, before going into a serious conversation." She then waited for a reply, before getting up.

Standing up from where she was, Komari started to laugh for what would seem like no real reason to everyone else. "NIHIHAHAHA!" But, really it just helped her calm down, since it was more like letting herself divulge into her imagination. "The evil dean must be some sort of alien or dimensional creature studying humans and testing the strength of human hearts! But I, Alastrine, the Ultimate Elementalist, am not human! I shall not succumb to such a technique! Prepare yourself dean! I will regain my power and blow you away! NIHIHAHAHA!" She laughed aloud, while pointing out to one of the cameras in the gymnasium. Her regained some mental strength. "Let us go forth and explore this dungeon known as Liberty Academy!"

Komari jumped got behind Christian and Sam and jumped on them, her arms over their shoulders, saying "Let's GO~!!!". However, she couldn't quite walk, and bring them along. Instead, her legs were dangling. That was the moment she realized just how much taller they both were to her. It didn't embarrass her though, she's done some much more embarrassing things before. So, she let it seem like, she was just wanting them to carry her like that. "It's time to explore! Let's go!" Komari said once more.
