Shaking his head, Umichi replied, "We should not become reliant on crystals for convenience. You've seen the difference in prices and the number available from here and the Town of Beginnings. It is likely that to use crystals for convenient travels without danger would be very unwise and cause financial strife. They should be kept for emergency measures. But if you want to go, I do not mind at all." he smiled at her, starting to take the lead.

As he began to walk, he noticed something at an inn. Hm?? Looking at the sign, it said something about a dart tournament. Looking at the prerequisites, it seemed he qualified. "Hey, why don't we drop by this inn? There seems to be a darts competition being held soon." Umichi turned to Suki, asking if she would like to go into the inn. The inn was called Inn of Faith. It used a church cross for the 't', and was in English. It seemed to be a bigger place than the Maiden Inn and bustling with more people.
Sighing, Hax just shook his head. "Not even listening at all. Isn't the blade supposed to be your ace in the hole in the first place? All I did was look at it logically." He stood up as he spoke. Noticing something he did not voice it, he was told to leave anyway. "I never said to never your sword about or anything. The time it takes to be a knight meister is many times longer than the other meisters. The time it takes you, you may as well have taken two or more meisters first. If your wish is to drag yourself around, then so be it. I have no time for those who do not understand." Walking out of the room, he walked away from the brother and sister.

As he walked about, he looked at the night sky. It was a night like that day. With this feeling in him, he continued about. Walking outside, Hax knew that something was up. Being away from the half demon siblings helped his senses. A problematic demon was coming. Not a powerful one, just problematic. Drawing Cyrono, Huh?, it seemed Cyrono was sleeping. Work to do. Making a quick ice platform, Hax got onto the roof, noticing a sleeping Lilly. The stars, oh so bright, were becoming bigger. Seraphims, is he targeting them? he thought. Cutting through the air in an X form, some of the 'stars' seemed to be encased in ice. It was good they were a distance away, otherwise the explosions would be bothersome, and possibly alert others. The distance they were, no-one should notice, with very very few exceptions. Not wanting to cause a disturbance with a gun shot, Hax knocked out a bullet from a magazine. It was a good chance to practice/train. Throwing up the bullet. He focused the path to send the bullet, encasing it in ice, and drawing out Infernecus. Lining up the bullet in ice, and then causing combustion for the bullet to fly through, before re-encasing it. He repeated this many times, controlling precisely the bullet from such a great distance, with very little to see. Eventually all of the Seraphims were dealt with.

Looking over the girl, he knew he could not leave her there. She could catch a cold or something. Scratching his forehead, he sheathed his blades, and had little choice but to pick the girl up. Carrying her in a princess carry, he walked down the roof. He was unsure as to what to do. Rather than being given permission to leave, Cassandra's tone was clearly chasing him out. Going back there could be a nuisance. Her room is left unguarded ... I can't find the teachers. He felt he was left with little choice. Hax carried the girl to his room, resting her on the bed. Realizing he hadn't had much gum that day, he took a fresh piece and started to chew it. He slept few hours a night, usually achieving about 4 hours every night. Hax went on to do some more maintenance on his weapons. There was little left for him to be taught in terms of Dragoon, and he was more than qualified as a Knight. It was going to be time to be a tamer soon enough. If I can achieve that ... I should be able to go up against the weakest of the eight Demon Kings. Should ... As the night was passing, nothing else seemed to happen.
"Hm..." Xerox heard the price and started to make estimates in his head about the cost of the raw material from there. The fact that the armor was probably constituting to a good million or so, meant that the materials itself constituted somewhere upwards of half a million. That was just for armor material, any mounted guns, equipment, gear, engine and everything else ... Xerox sighed at the figures. It would take a long time to earn the money to just get the raw materials, unfortunately.

With another student transferring in suddenly and entering the test, falling over at Duncan's feet, Xerox looked on curiously. After a moment, he entered the airship. Rue followed with him and sat on his lap, to take up one seat less. Taking a corner seat, Xerox unstrapped his giant spanner and leaned it on the airship corner. He wouldn't be able to sit down, with the sheer size of the giant spanner.

The airship took off, and Duncan could be heard instructing the group over the built in radio. Ninjutsu? Hm... he pondered for a moment. Seeing as though Xerox ended up in the 'other' airship, he turned to face the newcomer. "Hey, I'm Xerox, and this here is Rue. I'm something like an inventor? A mechanic? Something like that. I only transferred here a month and a half ago. Nice to meet you Riella." He smiled friendlily to her.

As a hologram appeared on the floor, Xerox listened intently to the instructions. Neutralization of the facility huh ... I would prefer taking over than that, but it would be easier. Hm... I know! Opening up his tool box, he quickly made some modifications to the gauntlet from before. Xerox was modifying one of the parts he had finished, to make it able to inject something. He would probably need to access his ESS later.

Once Duncan asked if there were any questions, he spoke up. "Well, this is the Galbadian army right? So we will fight the Galbadian mechas then, right? That means they will most likely use the X-ATM092 and the GIM47N. Hm.... From what I know, these mechas are particularly weak against thunder type attacks. If they were to make a formation with them ... It would probably have X-ATM092s at the front with GIM47N shooting the chain gun or the lasers. Well ... only if they use them to defend it, which is likely. I would like to request that, if there is a chance, not to destroy all of the mechas. I should be able to override the controls and modify it for a good shrapnel explosion to destroy the power substation, due to it's decent size. That is only if the chance of this were to reveal itself. Charlotte, do you mind, if I get the chance to make the modification, to use thunder on the mecha? I would like to make it a remote or timed explosion, but don't have the equipment to do that with me, so would like your thunder to activate it, if you don't mind."

Realizing that he was just taking command with out anything solid, and being relatively new, Xerox went on to apologize. "Um... Sorry. I went ahead of myself. Taking command like that for no reason. It's just a plan I thought. If there are other plans, then please ignore my suggestion. I would like to ask though, is it possible for me to use some time after the mission, before we leave, to take some scraps back? There could be some useful parts is all." He was a bit timid during his apology and while asking about the scraps.
You could just not mention the bathroom altogether?
I mean, you are the one who chose to skip the whole trip, whereas, Sharnid decided to go to the bathroom during the trip.
Or just edited both posts, by removing the line of going to the motel so early, giving Sharnid's character a chance for response during the trip.
I am just saying, you kind of messed with the continuity.
I see

Sounds tiring
Otsukaresama deshita

Well, I have difficulties getting to sleep anyway
Sometimes lie in bed for many hours not falling asleep
Usually asleep somewhere after an hour

Edit:
Anyway, I will be off to sleep (Or at least I hope I sleep)
Night
I wonder if invariant will even bother to make an edit to their post, due to the inaccuracy of it
Kind of stops things from flowing correctly
Unless Sharnid changes his post to make it flow correctly
I am just picky about things at random times and at random things
Sometimes it is best to ignore, unless you are bored and just want some random useless argument for no reason
Those can be fun sometimes and interesting to see where it goes

Anyway, it's 2 am for me right now
lol
What are the hours for your night shift?
Mulling over the fact that he had to stay, hearing the conversation between the two siblings, Hax heaved a heavy sigh that would stop most conversations and lead to the parties to look in the direction of the sigh. Regardless of their attention he spoke, "Due to the fact that those who wish to have undergo the doctor meister, it is recommended to undergo another meister first. Aria's are the least recommended, followed by Tamer, Knight and finally Dragoon. Knight's are the hardest meister to achieve, if you truly wish to be a doctor, leave being a knight for later. Although exorcists do not work alone, being unable to properly defend oneself is obviously dangerous, which is why another meister is recommended. They do not allow the study of two meisters at once, excluding some cases. Either way, you don't have the talent for the sword, so leave it for later." Hax was blunt in his final response, still tapping his foot. He just wanted to get away from them. But having taken up the job to protect them, he had to wait.
