Current Remember my joke theory about how the world ended in 2012 and each subsequent year has just been a layer by layer descent into hell? It feels less and less like a joke each year.

Bro it's so weird thinking I was 15 when I joined here. I'm turning 21 in March. Time is a scam.

Saarebas, what have we done. XD
I have a design idea all of a sudden. Must get drawing.
Well, even better. A sentient, dancing tree fusion uprooting presumably non-sentient trees and chucking them at random people while bellowing "WE ARE GROOT!" at the top of their lungs...Beauteous.
Do you think this can still take off? I'm willing to join.
I'll give this a go. Sounds interesting. Not that I could resist anyways, since Steven Universe is devouring my soul.
Alrighty, glad you liked it. But of course, it's the GMs who decide in the end. :3
@Saarebas

Now all I can imagine is this crack-ish image of people running away in fear as this ungodly monstrosity of a gem just goes around uprooting trees and throwing them at anything that moves. Thanks for that. XD
Well, we can take our liberties and say that it's white, as most folk tend to group white and clear gems together and we could give it some light pastel tones as it also takes on some tints occasionally. Just me thought. I don't know.
Well, I know I'm not responsible for fusions (that's Kronshi's job), but while working on Talc's design I had a few ideas, so I'll just drop it off and see if y'all are okay with it?

Um, since Amber is fossilized tree sap, and Evenkite is often found in fossilized trees, maybe they could make Petrified Wood together? Eeeeeep, it was a thought.

Another idea was for Emerald and Aquamarine. Since they're both varieties of Beryl, and water is often tinted green or blue while it is actually colourless, I was thinking maybe Gohesnite for their fusion? It's a nearly clear variety of Beryl but can take on tints of their surrounds as well, most commonly blue and green, and a lot of it's symbolic and metaphysical traits are shared between Emerald and Aquamarine.

Finally, for Black Zircon and White Spinel, I was thinking of Onyx? All three of the stones are formed due to heat from lava and magma, and Onyx is coloured both black and white.

I have no idea, just wanted to drop that in. Feel free to ignore it. XD
Alrighty, here goes Talc...

Name: Talc
Appearance: Measuring roughly 5 feet, Talc is a somewhat short gem with an awfully scraggly and somewhat unnatural looking build; her limbs are most comparable to the jagged appearance of an ant's, and it almost seems as if any external force could simply cause her body to collapse upon itself. Her skin takes on a subdued, pale green, and despite it's roughed up appearance, is strangely soft, if not a little oily, to the touch. The same could be said for her hair, which would be straight if it weren't for it's matted and tangled state; it falls flat against her skull and reaches down to her shoulders. However, it differs in that it's a darker green in colour. A pair of pale gray, upturned eyes cast an equally soft gaze -in the metaphorical sense, of course- and below these eyes is a small, upturned, rounded nose, not unlike Steven's in shape. Attire wise, Talc is decked out in a fuzzy turtleneck much too big for her, a pair of tights, and fur-lined boots which reach a little past her ankles. The turtleneck and fur are both beige in colour, while the boots and tights are a saturated brown.

Gem and Gem Location: Talc's gem is in the form of a circular cabochon, and is placed in the base just below the middle of her eyebrows, which are quite thin. It is a pale green, speckled with white, grey, and beige.
Emotional Strength: Sharpness of the mind. Even under immense stress, Talc's mind retains clarity and purpose, retaining it's analytical side, enabling her to overcome the odds through quick wit, cunning, and strategy. More so, she can do so all in the spur of the moment. However, this strength goes directly against her weakness, and the two often clash.

Emotional Weakness: If sharpness of the mind would be her strength, then the softness of her heart is her weakness. Talc's mind might be able to overcome stress and the heat of the moment with ease, but emotions easily cloud her ability to process a situation and act accordingly. She feels deeply not just for herself, but for others, and her feelings eat into her motivation to go on with a task, both due to the weight of the emotions and the prospect of potentially hurting another.
Weapon: A long and rather intricate looking Gurz of is wielded by Talc. It is a bright white in colour. (Note to those who don't know: A Gurz is a trauma based weapon, not unlike a mace or a club. It occasionally does include spikes, but in most cases, it lacks them. A typical Gurz has a defined handle, a sphere-ish shape, and a rod connecting the two. They vary in length and material.)

Other:
About the real life gemstone;

-Talc is the softest mineral of all. You can literally grate it as if it were cheese.
-It is used in many different everyday products in its powdered form, known as Talcum
-Possibly it's most well known usage is as soapstone carvings.
-When in it's unaltered form, Talc is usually a light and pale green or beige, and more rarely, yellow. Once powdered, however, it becomes white.
-Talc is non porous.
-It is one of the oldest stones known to man, and was used in cave drawings.

About the gem;
-Talc seems instinctively fearful of pointed objects
-She posses great distaste for water, especially coming into physical contact with it.
-When she blushes, Talc's cheeks go white instead of red. Her bruises also take on a white color.
-Talc is a Kindergarten gem, and a rather young one at that.
-She isn't just emotionally easy to hurt; Talc seems to be quite sensitive to physical injury as well, being rather easy to take out if hit. As such, she relies a lot on speed and swiftness.
Alrighty, I'll try my best to explain.

First, you should have some sort of photograph or, more preferably, a scan, of the actual picture, if done traditionally and not digitally. Then, you should upload it to some sort of website; I say Imgur's easiest, which is the option I'll be explaining. On the header of Imgur is a button with an icon and an arrow which you click in order to upload your image. Once you upload it to Imgur, you should be directed to a page upon where, to the right side of the screen, there should be a bunch of links with the following labels: Image Link (email & IM), Direct Link (email & IM), Markdown Link (reddit comments), and so on. Copy and past the link under Direct Link, and then paste it in between this code: (img) (/img)
Just be sure to replace the '(' with '[' and the ')' with ']'. I had to type it with these brackets as otherwise they wouldn't appear.

Hope that helped. At the very least, hope it doesn't seem too complicated.
