Draxxal

I take out my comm and try to signal for backup... only to discover that communications are jammed. I glare at Jerus, then jump out the window and make a run for it. Hopefully the Stoneheart will keep them preoccupied enough for me to escape.

Jakito Twilight

"Stop him! Ah!" I am forced to a knee one a powerful overhand slash by Stoneheart. Out of the corner of my eye, I see Cosen laying wounded against the monument. How she could have thought this monster was her father was a mystery, but clearly she was wrong. There was nothing in this armor but pure hatred and vengeance.

Lord Stoneheart

My head snaps back and I stumble. My helmet is now slightly dented from Jerus’s blow, and one of the eye pieces is no longer flowing red, giving a lopsided appearance.

Jakito Twilight

Seeing the opening, I rush in to attack Stoneheart with both of my blades spinning. He was strong, but I was fast. Hopefully that would be enough to catch him off balance and hit something valuable.

Draxxal

I climb back through the debris and shattered glass to look out at the battle outside in the plaza. I grit my blood stained teeth in anger. Stoneheart again. At least he was directing his fury on the rebels now.

Cosen Greshh

With a cry of frustration, I blast all three combatants away from each other. I run towards Stoneheart. “Father, stop!”

Lord Stoneheart

Looks up towards Cosen, slowly rising to my feet. After a moment, my lightsaber extinguishes and I silently regard her.

Jakito Twilight

I make a confused face. “Father? What the hell?”

Cosen Greshh

“That’s my father’s armor. Only someone of the Greshh bloodline could wear it.” I look towards Stoneheart. “It is you, isn’t it?”

Lord Stoneheart

Walks towards Cosen, stopping only when I am right in front of her. My mask hides any emotion on my face. The only sound I make is my heavy breathing. Slowly, my hand reaches up to touch Cosen’s face... before slipping down to her neck and squeezing. I easily lift her up by the throat and toss her against the monument peak with a loud crash.

Cosen Greshh

I shake my head to clear my wind of distraction. Now was not the time. I rush over to Jakito and help him to stand. “Breath. You’re alright.”

Jakito Twilight

I nod, forcing myself to breath normally again. “Strong grip...” I reactive my lightsabers and rush in to intercept Stoneheart as he tries to come in for another attack. He seems to be holding nothing back now, and every clash of our blade sends shockwaves through my arms.

Cosen Greshh

I have my weapon ready, but my legs seem locked in place. I want to help, but something inside me is holding me back.

Cosen Greshh

I see Stoneheart for the first time in the light, and I gasp in surprise. That armor... I would know it anywhere.

Lord Stoneheart

I barely pause after being knocked back, immediately rushing forward again to strike at Jerus with a serious of blows, both from my lightsaber and my fists, that drive him back.

Jakito Twilight

I rub my neck, coughing. I try my best to climb to my feet and help fight, even as my lungs struggle to draw breath.

Jakito Twilight

I turn in a circle, trying to get a sense of where Stoneheart might be. I cannot sense anyone else here though. "Are you sure this guy even understands what we're saying? From what I hear, he doesn't seem to respond to reason most of the time."

Cosen Greshh

"He understands alright. he just doesn't seem to care." I hold up my lightsaber, ready to defend if necessary.

Jakito Twilight

"Well, I'm really getting tired of enemies like this. I hate the cloak and dagger routine so mu..." I feel something grab my leg, and I am immediatly pulled off my feet. I slam face first onto the ground, then quickly dragged towards the shop close to me. I try to roll onto my back so I can face my attacker.

Lord Stoneheart

I burst through the window of the shop and land on top of Jakito, immediately grabbing his throat with one hand and squeezing. My other hand holds my active crimson lightsaber, which I use to pin Jakito's lightsabers down.

Draxxal

I dodge roll out of the way of Jerus' sudden attack. As I come to my feet, I leap behind the monument peak in the center of the plaza, breaking the line of sight between me and Jerus.

Cosen Greshh

I stand back up and pull my weapon to my hand. "Thanks, Jerus."

Jakito Twilight

I hold up a hand to signal Jerus to hold his fire. "It's over, Draxxal. No sense running. Come out and face us." After a moment of silence, I see Draxxal rising over the top of the mountain peak, and I ready my weapons to attack. Then i notice he hasn't drawn his weapon, and he isn't climbing; he's levitating. His eyes are wide, darting in every direction as a light gurgling escapes his stiff lips. Then, suddenly, he is hurled across the plaza and crashes through the window of a nearby restaurant. "What the hell?!"

Jakito Twilight

This was not going well. I was literally improvising on the spot, and my order of fall back plans was completely messed up. Fighting Cosen was very far on my list, so this was a HUGE jump. If this didn't work out the way I wanted, I wasn't sure what else could be done. Where the hell was Stoneheart? Had we not made this public enough? Or did he know this was a trap? Too late to recalculate now. With a purposely dramatic looking swipe, I easily disarm Cosen and bring her to a knee. "You are beaten! Surrender, and we will treat you fairly."

Cosen Greshh

"I will never give up my secrets to either of you!"

Draxxal

"Just as well. I had no interest in taking you alive anyways." I nod to Jakito. "Kill her."

Jakito Twilight

My eyes widen. "You... don't want to question her?"

Draxxal

"Not really. She just said she isn't going to tell us anything. Kill her and I'll grant you and your family amnesty."

Jakito Twilight

"Well... damn. You're really not making this easy for me, are you?"

Cosen Greshh

Cursing to myself, I rush out of my hiding spot and activate my lightsaber. "Jakito! How could you betray us like this?"

Jakito Twilight

A spike of panic goes through me. Cosen had made her move too soon. I still had a few tricks I could pull, and I really didn't want her getting caught up in this. "Cosen? You followed me?"

Draxxal

"What's this? Looks like you weren't as careful as you made it sound."

Jakito Twilight

I glance between them. "Allow me to prove myself to you. I will subdue this girl. I know what a pain in the neck she's been." I activate my twin silver lightsabers.

Draxxal

I release my techblade. "Yes, do that. It'll at least be entertaining to watch."

Cosen Greshh

"I'll make it quick, traitor." I briefly make eye contact with Jakito, silently questioning how to play this. A moment later, I get my answer, as he rushes forward and gives a very deliberate wide swing that I can easily dodge. I reply by giving him a jump kick to the side, purposely not putting my full force into it.

Jakito Twilight

"Alright, I also have the names of the top Revolution members and their hideouts..."

Draxxal

"I know that already. Their traitorous friend gave me everything."

Jakito Twilight

"Okay... I know they have some allies from off planet that are coming to help."

Draxxal

"Other than the Mandalorians? Really?" I look around the plaza. "It's Alderaan, right? I saw their message announcing their intentions to 'aid' the people of Coruscant. It doesn't take much to put two and two together. We've already sent a few scout ships to keep an eye on them. If they amass a fleet, we'll know."

Jakito Twilight

"I don't know what you're talking about. Their allies are from Dubrillion, not Alderaan. I can understand why that would be confusing, seeing as how they are both monarchies. But Salazar Greshh's widow is actually the queen of Dubrillion, so..."

Draxxal

"So I'll make sure the Chancellor knows to keep an eye on that sector as well. They didn't lift a finger to help Dantooine when it was blockaded, and they are only a few parsecs apart. Why would Queen Risha come all the way up here to help a bunch of Mandalorians and their criminal friends?" I place a hand on the techblade over my shoulder. "You're starting to run out of good intel. The next thing you say better be worth it or I'm going to be very upset."
