So, there's this rabbit outside my house, and I'm not sure what to do with it. It sits there sometimes, eating grass and staring into space. It isn't mine, though, so it runs off when we approach.

First IC post is up and by GOD is it cheesy. I'm kind of regretting it, but I can't think of anything better, so... Yeh. Also putting up a character post sometime soon, maybe.
The principal’s speech went on, relatively unremarkably. Hongo academy’s principal was a fine person but no student wished to lend ear to a usually flavourless speech with little variation. A few points of interest were noted, including a few new additions to the faculty. And finally, it was the student council president’s turn to make a speech.
The student council president strode confidently up to the podium, long black hair shining in the sun. The students sat attentively, waiting for the person they voted almost unanimously into the seat of student council president. The president made a short pause, and then began her speech.
“To all of you seated here today, I extend a warm welcome on behalf of the Hongo Academy student council.” She began, with a confident smile.
“For all of our third year students, I wish you best of luck for your final year here, at Hongo academy. For all of our second year students, I hope you have another fulfilling year at this wonderful school. And for our first year students, I hope you’ll find the school to be as wonderful and engaging as I found it in my first year, but you can come to me if you need any help.” She added with a knowing wink. “But overall, I want to create the best experience for all of our students this year, but I can’t do it alone. As you know, I’m blessed with capable friends and co-workers whom I can rely on, but I need help from all of you. With all of your efforts, I am certain that we can make great and precious memories of our days in Hongo academy. Please help me make this year a wonderful year.” The president finished.
The students and the faculty applauded the president as she walked off the stage and joined with the rest of the student council. It was a nice day, the sun shining and the wind whispering, perfect for the beginning of school. And yet, the calm belies the underlying chaos unfolding, not privy to mortal eyes. Events would soon unfold that would shatter the peaceful façade of reality and reveal the secrets lying underneath which, for years had been content to rest, unperturbed by the world around them. But things would stir, the results of actions laced with malevolence, the world as a target of a grand scheme.
And as the curtain rises on the dark dance of the doom of mankind, the young heroes emerge from within the murky times to fight the darkness as warriors, identities hidden from sight. These heroes have kept peace for many years, but must fight for the future of mankind. They fill their roles as students in Hongo academy, to study and prepare for their later years. And as warriors, they must do what must be done, lest the world be swallowed by darkness.

Crashes are frequent still, but better. Hopefully we can still do this with the crashes, working on the first IC post. Likely up by tomorrow sometime, but I got stuff to do as well so maybe the next day. Soon, basically.

@Vita: If it's just that, I could have Jon start out with a broadsword and a shield and have him slowly expand his armoury as the RP goes on. Would that work?
Also, we're starting at the entrance ceremony and stuff so after that you can make friends with the other PCs or something, and then we'll really get started.
Oh, in case anyone was wondering, people with the same age can be in the same class unless you want me to put you somewhere else.

Oh, also, let me add a thing about Loki's powers. Kind of cause the whole constantine has better imagination thing.
Basically, Loki has to parcel out brain power for every bit of the illusion he makes. The relatively simple ones take very little brain power and the complex ones take a lot. But his brain power is still shared over his other cognitive functions so if he wants something big and complex, he might stop moving or looking and in battle, if he wants to fight with his illusions, he has to keep it relatively simple. But the brain power also applies to things he imagines so making things he imagines is harder than doing things that are simple, such as his clones. This pretty much rules out big imagined monsters for normal combat and restricts their use to prepared distractions and stuff. Also takes more concentration to induce hallucination-like effects and stuff.

I built Jon around the concept of a guy who has a bunch of weapons, but I had a reason for having so many.
The broadsword is a very versatile sword, capable of a lot of different things. The scimitar is lighter and faster than the broadsword and can be used for different things. I also figured Jon could switch it up so he could dual wield a scimitar and a broadsword or something. The retractable poleaxe functions like a normal axe when not a poleaxe. Axes are useful for when heavier cutting blows are needed. It can transform into a poleaxe to add range. Then the mace is for heavily armoured dudes because its weight allows it to basically ignore armour. The shield is, obviously, to block attacks.
So Jon doesn't wield a particular weapon because no one weapon is useful for all situations. The reason he's foraging in the dungeon is to find the one perfect weapon, but he makes do by carrying a lot of different weapons to suit his situations as needed.
