@TheRebelKnight Well, I'm certainly not the GM of the RP, but the Galactic Empire was extremely xenophobic during their reign. Chauvinism and Humanocentrism was their motto, basically. Females and aliens were only allowed to become Stormtroopers after Palpatine's death during the Fel Empire and afterwards. :)

And also highly ironic since I'm also in a Rebel Alliance Star Wars RP that's gonna take off today X'D But yeah, I getcha, make edits here or there, of course, but keep the base premise the same. I mean the destruction of the Alliance and the continuing strength of the Empire? That's a broad enough stroke you can go just about anywhere with!
Well, I was in a situation rather similar to this one just earlier in 2015. There was an RP I joined here just after Guildfall that I immensely enjoyed. During its tenure, the GM actually left and the participants made it an independent RP with unofficial co-GMs. So, the old co-GMs and I decided to revive it. We took the original writer's thread and idea (since s/he hadn't been on the Guild in some time) and changed the name a few details but kept the premise mostly the same. We gave credit to the original GM in the thread itself, but otherwise kept the same synopsis.
I have no problem with there being an Empire still running things. Frankly I think this is one of the best Star Wars RP plot-lines I've seen! :)

I think making a new thread would be best. Now I think this group is friggin' amazing, so if we do a change in premise, I think it has the potential to be just as fun and just as interesting. Changing it might be necessary, however, since Galactic Hero seems to know how the plot should go and how to twist around the events. But hell, I'm open to anything. AU Galactic Civil War, Clone Wars, Old Republic, Order 66; you name it xP
