Name: Kristof Grux
Age: 53
Occupation/Status: Commander of the Royal Guard
Weapon of choice: Heavy War-hammer
Armor of choice: Heavy Steel plated armor, assorted bandoliers and pouches and sheathes.
Strengths/Abilities:
1. Massive size. Grux is just over 7 feet tall, and weighs a little over 350 lbs without armor on.
2. Master of arms. Grux has mastered just about every close ranged weapon you can think of, except staves and lances. He is excellent with most any weapon you give him, though he is essentially unstoppable with his warhammer.
3. Head of the Guard. Grux only answers to one man, King Gustavo. He is the head of all royal guard within the kingdom, giving him quite a lot of responsibility and power. As such, Grux is rarely seen without a personal posse of guards to make sure he is not jumped from behind.
4. Rich. Holding such as high position for so long, it only took time for his personal wealth to accumulate.
Weaknesses/Hindrances:
1. Blind loyalty. If the king told grux to go fight a volcano, he would do it. Only one exception to the rule, see #4.
2. Hot headed. His temper is almost as legendary as his size. Once enraged, his judgement and state of mind are heavily impaired.
3. Aggressive metabolism. His massive size and excessive workout routine has his body calling for tons of calories constantly. Needs minimum 5 meals a day to stay in a healthy condition, or he faces extreme exhaustion and worse as he becomes malnourished extremely quick.
4. Teddy bear. Aside from the king, his temper, and his hunger, the one thing grux that can really get to Grux is children. He cannot bring himself to harm a child, no matter what.
Personality: Grux is a drill sergeant to most of those he knows, and the commander to others. His strict military code and loyalty to the kingdom are what define him. Considered one of the bravest man alive, rumored to even have fought a bear, bare handed, and won.
History: Kristof was a giant even as a child. His parents soon realized the possible profits to be made by selling this freak. Luckily for him, The former guard recruiter found him in an orphanage at a young age, and brought him to the castle to be trained for duty. Though he grew up in the same castle as Gustavo and Hugo, he did not meet them until years later, when he was officially a guard. Gustavo and Grux bonded on the battlefield quickly growing a friendship as they conquered the lands in the name of Belvoir.
