Magic:
Fatal Marionette is a Holder-Type magic, dealing with a set of (currently) 10 magical throwing knives. These knives are simple blades, with small lacrima orbs affixed to their pommels, opposed to loops for spinning. These lacrima allow for remote control of the knives, meaning they can be levitated, launched, and their movement controlled without Elize's physical touch. While their direction can be changed mid-flight, Elize has only mastered curves, not sharp turns. In combat, Elize often wields the knives as one fluid blade, often making them circle around her in a ring. Elize can effectively control her knives from 50 feet away, but is unable to do anything past that yet.
Their real power shows when they are used as a catalyst for Elize's magical energy. When assembled in circles or sets of five, they can create a magic circle with which to cast spells. Her specialties are traps, barriers, and attacks with raw energy. On their own, the knives can be enhanced with magical energy to impact with a little more damage while dulling their edge, to deal with armored opponents without killing them. When it comes to traps, all Elize has to do is leave a circle of knives, and she can remote activate them to bind opponents for a short time (if they are standing on or are directly under the trap) with tethers of energy, or blast them with a short burst of energy. She can also place two circles and warp the target between them, but she hasn't perfected it at all, and the chance of her expending all of her energy or the lacrima on the knives breaking isn't a risk she wants to take. Barriers work in the same way, placing down knives, and creating a dome or wall, depending on the formation. The circles for spells don't have a size restriction, but past 4 feet, they become weaker due to surface area.
Elize's magic is energy-intensive, and she often nearly expends her resources each mission she takes. Thankfully, she can wield the Fatal Marionette set well without magic, in dire circumstances, though the extra weight of the lacrima can sometimes cause problems. Manipulating the knives isn't too bad, but her spells are relatively strong, and they have a price to show it.
Elize is spending most of her time researching ways to affix elemental lacrima to her knives to give them new properties, or maybe craft entirely new sets, though both are far too expensive at the moment, and finding decent lacrima these days is a challenge in itself.
Magic Level:
B, due to how much she still has to learn about her magic. Her raw power level is probably on the border of B and A, but her ability to conserve and use it is definitely B.
History:
Elize grew up in a small coastal village, with a fairly average family. Her mother and father, Maria and Peter, and her brother Marcus and herself all lived in a decently sized cottage, though it wasn't anything fancy, and their lives were nothing but normal. "Normal" included prejudices against magic, held by all Kaitsors but herself. She didn't really get it. Sure, it was all bad and scary way back when, but why couldn't people just move on? Then again, she hadn't come into contact with magic, really, so maybe it wasn't her place to judge. Elize would play with her brother, who was a year older, on the beach, looking for seashells and swimming whenever the weather permitted. It was a nice, easy life, with almost storybook-like peace. Then there was the debt.
Her father, Elize learned after eavesdropping on her parents one night when she was 10, was in deep with the wrong sorts. Loan sharks that had lent him money in his youth, most likely due to some form of gambling. Apparently he'd made it worse by telling them off the last time they pestered him about it. It was unsure what their future would be like with this threat now revealed, but Elize tried to hide that she knew. She was a smart girl, and figured Marcus had already found out. She went about her life, and she started coming down to the beach alone. Elize didn't have a particular reason to go without Marcus, other than to be alone. Though on one occasion, she was very glad that Marcus wasn't with her.
On a gorgeous, sunny afternoon after lunch, Elize had sneaked away from the house and wanted to look for sea shells. However, there was already someone there: A man in a rather nice blue and gold outfit, with several tomes hanging from his hips and pack. Out of curiosity, Elize had approached the man, who introduced himself as Blaine. He had hair of milky gold, and lovely sapphires for eyes. He seemed surprised anyone would talk to him, as he was a wizard from the city. Instantly intrigued, Elize practically assaulted him with questions and inquiries, asking what the books were, what he did as a wizard, and all sorts of things. Blaine was a bit overwhelmed, but he humored her. He was a Holder wizard, who used grimoires to cast spells, and he was part of a guild in the city, though he wouldn't answer which.
Elize begged and pleaded for him to teach her magic, as she wanted to stop the loan sharks from hurting her father and family. Blaine told her that he couldn't just teach her magic, what with the current condition of the world, as she may get herself into a situation of persecution. Elize didn't care. When it was obvious she wouldn't give in, Blaine instead gave her one of his tomes, one covering the basics of magic.
By the time she thanked him while he left, and returned home, it was too late. The debt collectors were there, armed with powerful magic, and threatened to level their home if they didn't pay up. When Peter Kaitsor refused once again, as they simply didn't have the money, the debtor made good on his threat. Everything they owned was destroyed. After that was done, they turned on the rest of the town, destroying everything. Needless to say, the Kaitsors were chased from town, and had to go about wandering to the city in poverty, with just the clothes on their backs and Elize's book. Once there, she watched all of the guilds, practicing with her book, and studying anything she could get her hands on. Once her parents discovered that she was studying magic, when she was 15, they sent her away out of fear and spite.
She signed up with Phoenix Wing as a second pair of hands to help around the hall, and over the next four years, would learn her own magic: magical knives that she could make dance and shine. Her potential became obvious, and it didn't take her too long to get into the swing of things.
Personality:
Elize is a headstrong girl, never faltering in her determination and always looking for the her next challenge. This demeanor is the complete opposite of her appearance, as she believes keeping such a calm and collected look leaves her opponents and rivals off-guard. Her guild is the most important thing to her, as they filled the place her parents had left. She does have a kind side, though it may not come out right away around new folks, as they've got to show they plan to stick around. She isn't afraid to get her hands dirty in the slightest, but always tends to do so in a ridiculously elegant way.
Team Members:
She's studied and did small jobs solo, so she doesn't have a team. Although, she's wanting to change that.
Three Strengths:
1. She is determined, once she sets her mind on a goal.
2. Elize is quite graceful, able to dance around and maneuver a battlefield with ease.
3. With an analytic and quick mind, Elize can piece information together quickly
Three Weaknesses:
1. She has developed a bit of a trust issue, seeing as the people that once loved her unconditionally cast her aside.
2. Elize can sometimes rush into situations which are difficult to escape from.
3. She can hold a grudge, though it takes quite a bit for her to.

Motivation:
Other than to learn as much as she can about magic and their world, Elize doesn't have a long-term goal. It may be to defeat those that wronged her village, but she'd have to be so much stronger for that. Right now, it's just to live life as she's always wanted to live it.

Additional Details:
-She keeps her knives in pouches strapped to the middle of her thigh.
-Elize has a love for stray cats that is unparalleled. They sometimes tend to flock to her, especially around the guild (Unfortunate for those with cat allergies)
-Her favorite food is apple dumplings.
-Her guild mark is located on her upper right arm

I think Elize's magic is my personal favorite so far, and I look forward to seeing how it'll develop. Only thing I see wrong is "The debt collectors were there, armed with powerful magic" part, 9 years ago there wouldn't be many wizards powerful enough to destroy a town quickly enough before the authorities (Armed with anti-magic weapons) got there. Even if they happened to be some of the few wizards powerful enough back then, they definitely wouldn't be debt collectors.
