It takes time for kit to trickle down to the front lines. Keep in mind that we're playing a BAOR unit, which would be expected to stand and fight with whatever kit it had available until they could be reinforced.

As an example, 2RTR didn't get Challengers until 1985 despite being based in Germany for over a year at that point, and some BAOR units still had Chieftans in '89.

I think the only thing I am going to say still bugs me about the suit designs is the loss of the Morpher as a belt buckle. Since it was called a "Dino Buckler" in Zyuranger after all.

I think you're more likely to have a Chieftain than a Challenger, since they were only just coming into service in '83.
