So much philosophy I feel like I've got my head stuck in an ice cream koan.

What altitude is the cloud base at?
<<Alright, everyone, get into the clouds!>>

Miku didn't have to be told twice, and pulled hard back on the stick, coaxing what thrust she could from the smoking engine. Even without the damage, her Corsair's lack of reheat meant she was down on power compared to everyone else, but the shrapnel had hurt her climb rate dramatically.
Then again the only progression for Miku I identified was swapping the Corsair for a Bug since I didn't feel like writing up an NFO to go with her.
I'm not sure I have an end-goal for Miku.
As for why the Let's Play never happened, hardware issues. I didn't get around to getting a capture device before my PS2 controllers packed up. And I can't crack them open to try fixing them because after ten years of being clasped in my sweaty mitts the screws have rusted up, and I don't feel like nicking my dad's can of WD40.
The F-16C was going to be my main aircraft for the OADF section of the AC5 Let's Play that I was planning that never happened.

Overwing pylons are a Jaguar speciality :D

The Lightning had them too, I think, but only for fuel tanks.

And before anyone asks the only reason why Miku isn't flying a Jag is because the only picture I found for her that I liked was in a Navy uniform.
Yes, that's how RAF Jaguars carried their AAMs; the underside hardpoints were used for drop tanks and air-to-surface weapons.

The Jag is one of my all-time favourite fighter jets, BTW.
OK, I guess the PTSD will have to wait.

Maybe there's some spare F-5s or something in the hangar.
Swap the engine and patch the elevator linkage. Assuming nothing else goes wrong.

But if she's grounded, she's grounded. Partly because I was planning to have her go into some sort of nervous lockdown once it's all over.
