The shrill tone of the steam whistle echoed across Platform 9¾ as the magnificent crimson locomotive began to puff out of the station, hauling a rake of similarly carmine-coloured coaches behind it as it began its journey north.
As the Hogwarts Express thundered through the countryside, the newest members of the student body within her coaches were trying to find a space to call their own within the compartments that ran the length of the train.

Yeah, I give up. I have precisely jack all idea what is going on with this and there seems to be little to no attempt to explain anything even when players express confusion.

OK, I do still have to take issue with the use of Snidget feathers as a core. Causing harm to a Snidget is considered an offence in the Wizarding world on account of how rare they became after being hunted nearly to extinction (think Ivory trade and you're most of the way there) so it's very unlikely that the feathers from one could be used for wand making.
Secondly, as has been pointed out students can't bring snakes with them. The rule is Cat, Owl or Toad.

"It's core is the cast skin of a coral snake" No. Coral Snakes are not a magical creature, so having the skin of one as a wand core will not work.
"Pretrained at potions an rumored to be a Parselmouth the latter yet revealed" No. Just no. Parseltongue is a defining mark of a Dark Wizard and I'd rather not go there. Also, given the amount of dangerous stuff involved in Potion making I find it unlikely that any parent would attempt to teach it to their child.
