Breathing deeply through her nose, her eyes tilting up towards the sky, Anora shrugged in defeat. She knew that her suggested course of action would be denied, as it had been many times before, but there was nothing wrong with still asking, after all the answer may be a yes at some point in time. She had been wanting to set fire to a hoard of the dead for awhile now, purely for testing reasons and to see how effective it would be.

When Ravenia’s next orders came to return to the solar car while taking out as many corpses as possible, Anora was just about to follow after the mother, but stayed in place when she heard the familiar howl of a certain wolf shifter. It was a request for help.

With a single flap of feathered white wings she took flight, heading in the direction of the howl while flying low enough so that she could still strike down the dead. The others made it over to the solar car and it was soon heading in the same direction that Anora was. The direction that Fen’s howl came from.

Flying in front of the car as it fell behind a little, she looked around in front of her and spotted two figures a little ways off. One was lying down and the other couched by the first. As she drew closer Anora noticed that it was Fen and another man that she hadn’t seen before. Taking caution because of the stranger she landed a few meters away from the two men.

“Who is this man Fen?” She asked, slowly moving closer to the two and then couching down beside the man and across from Fen. With a critical eye, Anora looked the man over. He was heavy set with muscle and looked to be tall. These two factors, not to mention her weariness was increasing, this meant that carrying the man was going to be difficult for Anora.

“He will be too heavy for me to carry, so either you can shift back into a wolf and I’ll help him onto your back or we will need to wait for Ravenia and the Solar Car. However, your howl has gained the attention of not just us but the dead too and they are approaching.”
Hola dudes! Sorry I haven't posted yet I've been busy. Anyway I shall start working on a post now, should be ready soon(ish) :D

Anora could only sigh. Trust her youngest sister to tally each kill made, no, Anora much preferred not to keep count, after all killing the already dead was like pest control. It was not fun. It was only duty.

Looking down a her rapier and then up at the huge amass of the dead, Anora knew that she would need a weapon change. As much as she loved her rapier, it just wasn’t practical against such an array of foes. So with dejection, the rapier was placed in its sheath to be swapped with dual swords from the double sided scabbard located on her back and between her wings. Her left hand removed the top sword while her right hand removed the bottom sword, bringing both in front of herself and gave them an experimental twirl. Tucking her wings tightly against her back Anora followed her sister into the fray, laying out horizontal, vertical and diagonal swings to heads opting for the direct approach of making sure the Damned stayed down and didn’t get up again.

When the arrows made their appearance, Anora knew that Ravenia was catching up and soon drawing out her metal staff then joining two of the three harpy sisters. The fact didn’t really sit well with Anora since she felt that the Leader of Paradise shouldn’t be putting her life on the line so easily. Yes, others could be appointed, but they wouldn’t be the same, they would all be a lesser Leader and Paradise would undoubtedly suffer from the loss.

She was sure that there were many others of Paradise who felt the same, but everyone knew that The Mother was the type of person who would rather sacrifice herself than allow anyone of her precious ‘children’ to be placed in the way of harm in her stead. This, along with many other qualities was what made people look up to her with high respect, honour and loyalty.

Ravenia provided orders for them to try and direct the gathering of the dead away from Paradise and Anora nodded her head. “We shall more than try, we shall succeed.” She responded, then mentally added. One way or another. Trying such a feat with this amount of dead wasn’t going to be too easy, though Anora would not give up until they found success.

When Ravenia began to grab the attention of the heard of corpses from behind them, Anora flew over and landed beside The Mother, slicing though the heads of the dead with her swords as she flew past. As Ravenia continued to bang and shout, Anora brought her fingers up to her mouth and whistled loudly. The piercing sound cut through the overbearing sounds of the moaning and groaning dead and many turned around to the added sound.

“There are a few courses of action that can be taken Ravenia. The best one I can conclude is to set them all aflame considering that they are all packed closely together. I know the smoke may attract more but if we lead them all far enough away then there wont be too much worry.”
Hey there Metronome, I may be wrong but I don't think forests would be around anymore what with the nuclear war and all. Plus the place is called the Red Waste and if you Google Red Waste images you will find desert landscapes.

Anyway sorry if my post is sucky, I am just too sleepy to think anymore so I may edit later.
When the male out of the two guild members returned her greeting, Lola smiled up at him, happy at having made conversation with more people despite the threatening presence of the Council Representative. She was about to say something else but before she got the chance, the young man who she realised to be Kenji, continued talking. What he said threw her off guard and her mouth opened and closed like a fish out of water.

"Uh- umm... well a-actually, I hadn't thought of that..." It would have been a good idea, although she didn't know if she had it in her to do such a sly thing. "But in any case I do intend to take this one since I did see it first." She explained gently hoping to keep everyone calm. Until Council Representative Fendron returned from the Masters office, no requests were allowed to be taken. Mages needed to be signed off and approved for any and every job which found its way onto the request board.

"I don't want to seem rude or anything, but it is pretty important that I take take this request, so I hope you don't mind." Staying polite and friendly as per her caring nature Lola hoped that others didn't notice the same request or it may well be an all out war. Though chances of that happening were pretty slim since Fendron was quite a scary man and the smallest of things usually set him off. The guild members, Lola included didn't want to be on the receiving end of his wrath.
Eyes darting between the still form of her sister and the hoard of approaching dead, Anora grew increasingly worried as one of the corpses seemed to take the lead, picking up its pace with skinless and rotting jaws snapping open and shut in anticipation. A scowl marred Anora’s delicate facial features as she observed the leading corpse which despite its mindlessness, thought it had won a feast out of its fallen prey. But Anora wouldn’t allow it a chance, he sister was precious to her just as her older sister, Ramera was. If anything happened to either of them she would tear the whole world apart.

Raising her hand with the intent of impaling all three of her throwing knives into the skull of the damned carcass, Anora suddenly stilled her hand before the knives could be released and her dark glare instantly vanished at the sight of Clo kicking the corpse and throwing one of her knives at its exposed throat.

The feeling as if something had been clenching her heart receded to be replaced by immense relief. Her sister was alright, she was unharmed.

“Clo!” The name was shouted right after she heard her own name being called.

Thank goodness. The words repeated themselves many times over in her mind as she closed the distance just as Clo got back to her feet and blew the closest of the dead away with her immense dark wings. While Clo always hated her black wings Anora thought them to be quite divine and simply beautiful.

With three knives still held in one hand, Anora held her rapier in the other and with an elegant motion landed silently in front of her sister, separating her from the bodies of the dead as they slowly stood back up. In an almost unconcerned manner, Anora had her back to the corpses while she faced Clo, her rapier pointed accusingly at her sister.

“You may just give me a heart attack one of these days.” She said seriously with a frown as she looked into her sisters eyes. Though, she was soon smiling, since she couldn’t ever seem to stay mad at her younger sister. The rapier was placed tip in the ground while she stepped forward to place a palm gently on Clo’s forehead. “I am glad that you are alright, dear one.” The words were just about a whisper yet held the full weight of her relief.

Before moving away, her hand gave Clo an adoring pat on the head. “You’ve worried Mother.” Glancing in the direction behind Clo, she hoped to direct her attention to the scene of Ravenia approaching in a solar car while she herself prepared her flare gun.

Setting it to a Code Red, Anora pointed it up at the sky and fired. A red light sparked into life, shooting into the sky and leaving behind bright red smoke. It would alert those both in and closest to the city of their location and the nature of the threat. Which was no less than massively deadly.

Strapping the flare gun back into its place, she held onto her rapier again and offered Clo the throwing knives she had been holding, before turning back to the amass of the dead. “Sorry, Clo but we are going to have to eradicate your new friends. Shall we get started?”

I HAVE a REALLY cool idea about what to do with the two kids that we are saving in the Red Waste. After we save them, do you guys mind if I take control of them for a bit?

I hope you get better soon :)
And I don't mind if you control the kiddies and I doubt that anyone else will mind either.

Ahhhh... post by tonight! Sorry Lumin and trill!

No need to apologise, but in any case I forgive you :3
With her attention solely on the tiny forms in the distance, Anora nearly missed the sound of one of the Solar Cars which was quickly catching up to her. However, she didn't need to look back to know that it was probably Ravenia and who ever else the Leader chose to go with her. As she continued onwards, it wasn't long until Anora was close enough to perceive exactly what it was that she had spotted. Two people, or more specifically, two children.

She flew closer to the ground and was now only about an arm length away from the red dirt terrain, then once she felt that she was a good distance away from the children, she gave her wings one last flap before landing in place about three meters in front of the stunned looking kids. Looking between the two of them, she was about to ask if they were alright then spotted a black feather clutched tightly in the hands of the young girl.

"That's Clo's-" She started to exclaim until she saw movement behind the two children. Acting purely on instinct, Anora flapped her wings and jumped right over their heads, landing behind them with her rapier drawn from its sheath. She noted that what she caught in the corner of her eye was one of the dead which had been slowly following after them. Without another thought, Anora shot her hand forward in a thrust, the blades edge slipping right through the centre of the walking corpses head, in the next second Anora flicked her wrist to the right, dislodging the blade from the decaying skull and ridding its pure silver blade of foul smelling and discoloured blood.

Frowning in disgust as the corpse dropped to its knees and then fell onto its side to land unmoving in the dirt, Anora re-sheathed her rapier and turned her head, first looking to the two young ones behind her then to the approach of Ravenia in a Solar Car along with Tobias.

Her eyes softened when she once again looked to the children. "You're safe now, The Mother is here." She assured them affectionately with a warm smile. "Would you let her know that I am going on ahead for Clo?" Came her request to which she waited until they responded before taking off again. While normally she would have waited for Ravenia to arrive and give her orders, Anora was much too worried about her sister.

Up ahead, a cloud of dust with an amass of the dead could be seen heading right for the grounded form of her sister. Heart thudding loudly in her chest, Anora reached for her collection of throwing knives strapped to both of her thighs and grabbed hold of three in each hand. Barely allowing herself time to take aim, she threw both arms forward, one a second behind the other. The first three knives stuck in the ground mere inches from Clo while the other three soared right over her head and ripped straight through the foreheads of the closest three corpses.

Unfortunately she was still a bit too far away from her sister and so she hoped that Clo would use the throwing knives until she got there. Pushing her wings harder and forcing herself to pick up greater speed, Anora readied more throwing knives. I'm nearly there Clo, please don't give up so soon.
