My mind is like yarn and squishy things and cute animals with a bunch of blood and skeletons over in the corner.

Bio

All right. Bio. Let's do this.

Started RPing when I was about 12. Since then, I've become exceptionally more literate. I like me some SciFi, some spooky horror, and any sort of Dystopian setting.

In the real world, I'm a moderately interesting person. I'm majoring in Microbiology and minoring in philosophy. I sew corsets, knit warm fuzzy things, and never have enough money to travel to the places I want to see.

Huh.

I'm intrigued. Way more intrigued than I thought I would be.

And I've been meaning to do a massive watch-through for forever now. This is the perfect opportunity to get a seriously deep understanding of the show. Count me in.

I'll likely provide either a viper pilot character, or a stowaway of some form.
I'd join in again. Activity might be sketchy for a while, though. Wrapping up my last year of high school. >.<

Sorry guys. >.< As Merc said, I think I'm gonna have to put this on hold for a bit. Life's gotten busy. I'm wrapping up my last year of high school, and I'm just a lot swamped with upcoming assignments, exams, and a big list of other stuff.

Keeping this RP moving just hasn't been able to be at the top of my priorities. But I hopefully will start it up again in the summer. Which is also hopefully when I'm be able to have more time to write the graphic novel version of the story it's based off of. I look forward to seeing you guys again then. :)

Still here as well, just overloaded as all hell.

I'm not sure who's post it should be now. :\

That could work well, Merc.

There'll probably be a time jump for the Mallory/Paige/Trevor group soon. It's afternoon for them currently, so they'll jump to night time to go after the Sprayers. At that time, I can probably have them contact Nate for help.

Also, I apologize for not being super active on here. I've been spreading myself really thin between school and all my other hobbies. Sorry guys. >.<
There's not actually that much in this thread.

We could copy+paste Slint's concept so everyone is familiar with it. Or link it.

Then each of us (you, me, Gonzo, eventually Yoshi hopefully) just link our bios in our first posts in the thread.

I feel like that would probably make it easiest for new users to understand the concept.
That could work. Or instead of linking that thread here, just link OUR character sheets into the new thread, and move the discussion all over to the new thread from now on.

That way, if we do need to make edits to the original post, we can actually do that.
I think making a new thread might be the best way to do it. That way, everyone knows for sure that we're starting this up again.

I dunno if it's possible to edit the title of this one. But if so, the other option would be to just edit the title of this one to say "Open" or something.

Thanks, Sam. I'm pretty pumped for it. The artist is absolutely brilliant, I can't wait to see what he does with my characters.

Got a reply up for Mallory.

Still no answer from Wreck. I think it's safe to assume he's disappeared on us. Hopefully life is just busy, and he's all right. :/
In the meantime, though, I'll try to edit the post I did as Sass, where she directed everyone on where to go. She'll send Relic with Anarcho and Free. It'll be a bit of a bumpy transition in terms of continuity, but it should still work.

Mallory waited silently as Paige briefed Trevor on the tagging that had been going on around the city. In truth, they had few leads on the exact nature of the red X’s. But they were indeed something. When the Northgate security team got a lead, they acted on it. That was the only way arrests could be made. As she listened, she stood still. Completely and totally still. Paige, of course, would be used to Mallory’s almost robotic nature, but it may be unnerving to those who didn’t know her quite so well.

“Mallory,” she answered in response to Trevor’s question. “I make a point of not using my last name.”

Paige and Trevor proceeded to begin to discuss the code. The encrypted notes that were left at each of the sites of the X’s. "The code completely flew by my head. But like I mentioned, I've been cross-checking cameras, trying to follow this Sprayer in particular, but I always lose her. Mallory?"

She proceeded to elaborate on the code. “We’ve been trying to break the code since it started showing up,” Mallory told Trevor. “It’s not quite as simple as it seems. We have enough convicts in the Northgate prison that we should be able to interrogate them on it and have them decipher it. But the language shifts every few weeks, it seems. Even as we discover the meaning of a word, it becomes obsolete.”

She gave a slight shrug, clearly annoyed with the fact that the code was too much of a challenge for her team, or for herself. “It’s essentially gibberish.”

“As for tracking the one responsible for the X’s…well, like Paige said. We keep losing her. But it’s clear the something is happening. For the next few nights, we’ll be keeping constant watch on the surveillance footage. I’m likely going to assemble a security force to be ready to leave at a moment’s notice tonight, should anything come up,” she continued. “If you’re interested in working in the field, Agent Westbrook, I can add you to the security detail. I don’t need to ask to know that Paige will be interested. And I’ll be on the team myself, of course.”

As it was still the middle of the day, Mallory was suggesting that it would be a very long night. She was used to giving up sleep for her work. In fact, it was questionable when she ever managed to get enough sleep, with the hours she put in. Undoubtedly, the lower-ranking interns who would be joining the security detail would have a few glaring looks for their superior at the prospect of overnight work.
