If we have an RP going im sorry, ill have to take another day. The most beautiful, perfect, sweetest dog I've ever known has just passed. I miss her so much already. Im sorry.

"You should definitely challenge the gyms!" Carter, turning and smiling. "The first one is in Pewter City. It's a Rock-type gym, perfect for you and Azurill to take on!" He pulled out his Pokedex and showed her the type match-ups. "These are essential to know for battle. If you're opponent has a higher-leveled Pokemon than you, you can still beat them with a good type match." He explained.
He snapped his dex closed and slipped it back into his pocket. "Of course, you should also work on making a balanced team. The second gym is a Water type, and the next one will be Electric, which is strong against water. Bad matches for a water-type." Carter looked fondly around his room one last time. "Okay, I'm ready to go!" He said, leading her back downstairs. Teddiursa and Azurill were being fed some Pokemon food, Carter's mom watching them and reading. "Leaving now, Honey?" She asked, kissing him on the forehead. She turned to Rosina. "You have fun on your journey too, dear." She said, smiling. Teddiursa was returned to his Pokeball, which was placed on Carter's belt.
They made their way through town, and up to Route 2, stopping at the gatehouse into Viridian Forest. "Okay, get ready. There are Poison-type and Bug-type Pokemon ahead. Keep your antidotes handy." He advised, always careful. They took their first steps in.

Carter laughed and nodded, standing in front of his desk, blocking her view of something. "My dad gave me this, and someday, I'll make another friend because of it!" He stepped aside and revealed a fat, cylindrical clear tube, with an egg the size of a basketball inside. It was dark grey with a few purple blotches. "Ta dah! It's a Pokemon egg!!" He said, grinning.
"I got it from my dad, who works near Mt. Moon at a research facility. He wouldn't tell me what kind of Pokemon egg it was, but he did say it was hatch-able and that one day, I'll have a new partner! I'm gonna bring it on my journey." He picked up the tube and snapped it with straps to the front of his backpack, smiling. "What do you think?"

So anybody else gonna get the Hoenn remakes when they are released?
"Nice!" Carter said, raising his hand for a high-five. "Now, when you want to catch them, you've got to hold back a bit, that way, you can just lower their health until they're weak enough to catch. Then throw a Pokeball." He explained. He searched around in his bag for a moment. "Speaking of which, I'm all out. We'll have to get some more in Viridian City." He sent Teddiursa out and grinned. "Let's go!" He shouted, running ahead with Teddiursa. They were stopped by a Rattata, which Teddiursa easily dispatched with two Scratch attacks.
They continued on, coming across several Rattatas and Pidgeys. Teddiursa and Azurill made short work of them all, and Carter could tell that Rosina was enjoying herself. The same went for their Pokemon. Soon, the edge of the grass could be seen, and Viridian City was before them. "Check it out! Come on, I'll show you around!" Carter said happily. He led her to the PokeMart, buying some Pokeballs, Potions, and a couple Antidotes.
Next, they went to the Pokemon Center, where Nurse Joy would happily heal their Pokemon for free. There was also free trainer lodging, so it was like a hotel as well. Carter took Rosina to the gym, the front doors of which were guarded by a large man with a scowl. "Scram, kids. The gym leader's not here, and even if he was, You guys don't look like you've got all the other badges.
Then, Carter stopped by his own house. They went in and Carter called out. "Mom! I'm here to get it!"
Carter's mother came out of the living room and smiled. "Still no change, dear. Still in your room on your desk."
Carter smiled and motioned for Rosina to follow. "Come on, I've got something cool to show you." He said, rushing upstairs. His mother smiled and nodded, letting her know it was okay.

How about this? We'll start with just Kanto Pokemon, but after Viridian City, we start to see more and more different kinds? Don't be afraid to catch a Starter as well.
My only request is that we don't include Gen 6 for now, since I know next to nothing about them, save for Sylveon. I know some stuff about Sylveon.

It's all good, Plague. About half the people are on at different times. It's a little hectic.
