Still alive, kind of. The wifi hasn't been great to where I wanted it. Either this laptop is connecting and I make my posts tomorrow, or I'm going to the library to make some RP posts.

Again, sorry if I've been running slow...a whole other, months long RP was just shut down, nd that was kind of depressing.

Are we good to have a second post or two now?
Externally...
Sakaki: "Mmmm, this is really good." *samples more of the strawberry substances, nodding his head a few times to himself before finally getting to work, cleaning up*
Internally...
Sakaki: *in a high pitched school girl voice, hopping and dancing around all giddy with hearts in eyes* "Kyaaan~! Oh, sensei~! It just tastes.too.good~! Mmmm...oh~! Ahhhn~!" >///< <( <3 <3 <3 ) *swoons for a few more hours*
Yay, posted. Let me know if I should add/remove/change anything. It's past 3:30AM where I am now, so I'm headin' on off to sleep...ish...
Maybe if he were his former self, maybe Sakaki would have been an hour or two early for work. Nowadays, he was usually fashionably late, though never more than 15-minutes tops. The morning was crisp, and he had been awoken by the sound of the wind blowing outside. The sharp whistling slicing through his shallow dreams, and spilling out his consciousness back into the world of the waking. Awakening…to a minor headache. A slight hangover. He’d brought and drank most of his share of wine and brandy last night…oh god, there were minors taking a sip or two, if he recalled correctly. And if he recalled further, nothing bad happened when he had been in…but something might've happened after he left. Maybe going in early would be the nice thing to do…?

Pushing the covers off, scratching his stomach before reaching up and scratching his hair, he sat up on the king sized bad and set his feet on the wood floors. Some, no, most people craved a warm and filling breakfast in the morning…but not him. Sakaki only had one thing in mind, and that was a sweet and cool, moist cake. Of course, if he lived his life only eating cake, he’d live a shorter life…and that wouldn’t do. He had to live long enough to fully enough cake in a more healthy manner, this he was certain. And so, a more normal ‘western style’ breakfast was made.

Two sunny-side up eggs, four strips of bacon, a small portion of ‘breakfast rice’, and a glass or orange juice. Taking his time, and flipping through his usual baking magazine…’Hmmm…that looks good, but the amount of sugar used in this recipe means that it’d be overly sweet. Surely less of a sophisticated taste, but likeable and even popular to young children.’ Musing to himself and he ate on, soon everything on his plate was finished. Shoving his plate into the empty sink, he returned to his bedroom to sort of his outfit for today. Undershirt, black jeans, a white dress shirt…tie and a certain jacket would be over doing it. Running shoes, and a coat for the cold will do nicely. Setting his clothing onto his bed, he left to take a quick shower before drying off and getting dressed fully.
Continuing his walk through the snow, he made his way to the store front. He could see a that some light was on through the window, so someone was definitely home. Pushing the door open, and stepping in from the cold air and crunchy snow…? “…?!” Before him was Kiku, one of his young high school age coworkers…and Madame Lilacflour, covered in red and white sauces and chunks, and shiny pieces. Of course, any normal person would have assumed something terrible had happened. But, before his eyes had time to process, his nose had stepped in...his sense of smell tapping his sense of sight on the back to prevent such a mistake.

“Is that strawberry I smell?”

Striding over with little to no hesitation, even a little bit confidently, he reached forward with his finger pointed…! Taking a swipe at the substance with a single finger as quick as lightning (and almost as audibly powerful as thunder), he took the little bit of it into his mouth…before shutting his eyes and smiling widely, “Oh? Is this a new variation I taste in the usual strawberry sauce, Lila-chan?"
Okay...so it is the morning after some new years celebration, correct?
:o <( . . . ? )
Name: Sakaki Watanabe

Age: 25

Appearance:
Good looking guy, six foot something. Squints quite a few times during the day (he does know it's not great for the eyes), he loaths his old contacts and isn't so hot on wearing glasses...except for a quick inspection before breaks and before the end of the day at closing up, he needs glasses to make sure everything is pristine.

Personality: There isn’t much to say about…well, him being a laid back sort of man-child air head would be a start, being kind and cool with a lot of things. Seems like his patience in bottomless. He follows his heart in all aspects of life, and despite having a possible future as a sole heir to an important business; he decided to become a baker due to his love of sweets. Unfortunately, being trained in only business and organizational skills since birth (practically when he was in diapers), his short training in baking turned out horrific…but he didn’t mind much when he ended up as custodian, he’s surprisingly good at this job, keeping this neat and sparkly. He is honestly just happy working at something close to what he loves. Well, his custodian skills may stem from his organizational skills, as well as this need of his to keep tidy. He is highly aggressive and intimidating when in business mode, almost like a member of the Yakuza.

Occupation at the Bakery: Custodian

History: Ever since he was a child, he had been raised to eventually work in and inherit his father’s business, the heir to continue making millions to trillions for the family. He was tutored in business and economics, studied it in his spare time. Food and drink…they were prepared for maximum amount of nutrients and a precise amount of calories for what he needed to grow. Play wasn’t necessary, friends weren’t necessary. He’d just live the life planned out for him with a silver spoon in his mouth, his estate taken care of by maids and servants, his fiancé arranged for him from another wealthy family.

It was age 23 that that incident happened that changed his life forever. Cancelling and rescheduling a lunch meeting with another company after his limo broke down; he decided to step into a small bakery for a quick bite while another limo would be driven to him…even though he believed such food was beneath him at the time, he had spent all night and all morning fixing a mistake done by an accountant, and thus needed sustenance soon or else might lose strength and focus. This was a life changing experience! THE TIRAMISU OF DESTINY!

Ordering a slice of freshly prepared cake that looked presentable enough, taking a cheap plastic fork and slowly taking a portion into his mouth…! It was like the world was colourless before! Like there hadn’t been a sunrise, a moon never full and beautiful…till now! Fluffy, chocolately, light cocoa, and…! The rest of his life, he spent never looking back. That day, he bought all the tiramisu on sale, then one of each of the rest, then all of the rest, then tried to force people he knew to try some.

That was 2 years ago, he now lives in a small apartment on his own, and works at the bakery (not the one he had initially gone to, since the owner closed up shop on their own terms). Every other weekend or so, his father personally comes over to grovel and beg him to reconsider his life choices…and then they have cake.
Yes...get e'vrybody drunk, steal their wallets when they're out of it...then demand payment, and when they can't immediately provide it, have them work to the bone!
Muahahahahahhahaaaahahhhhaahahhah~!

I dread the inevitable drop...the first few days after the start of an RP in which people PM to drop, or else fail to post at all.
Also, bored. Pain is keeping me up.
Daaaaw...okay.
