Still alive, kind of. The wifi hasn't been great to where I wanted it. Either this laptop is connecting and I make my posts tomorrow, or I'm going to the library to make some RP posts.

Again, sorry if I've been running slow...a whole other, months long RP was just shut down, nd that was kind of depressing.

Waiting a little while, smelling some sweeter stuff being prepared now and again...and thinking of cake...Sakaki's 'apprentice' of sorts finally returned, having finished her easy task.

"What do I do now?"

"Make a tribute of blood to the blood god." He teased, before rubbing his chin thoughtfully. What to get her to do, what to get her to do...? Reaching into the pocket of the apron, he pulled out a wash cloth. The cloth was definitely worn, but kept white and clean in it's own way. Leaning and reaching down to the bucket of clean water with it, he dunked it in once or twice before wringing the excess water back in, and handing the wash cloth to the girl. "Clean all the counter and table tops that aren't in use, make sure anything sticky or discoloured be wiped clean." Making his way to the front, he began to mop up the floor.

*swab swab*

*mop mop*

*slosh slosh*

*swab swab*

It took him only a minute to clean up to white and red mess, leaving only a small amount of water where it had previously been...and the faint scent of strawberry still in the air. Instead of putting down a wet floor sign right in the middle of the front, since it may be an inconvenience to customers that would be coming in at the opening of the bakery...he instead got on his knees with a cloth and began to hand dry the wet area. It actually took a little longer than the mopping process, but the job seemed to be to his satisfaction. No more stickiness, no more wetness, only dry floor...like the mess hadn't even been there a few minutes ago.

Completing what he set out to do, he returned the bucket and mop to the back and returned to the front. There were some decorative display shelves and frames pictures that couldn't get enough dusting. Reaching into his frilly apron, he pulled an ostrich feather duster and began his new task, careful to dust away from the front counter.

Wait, there's another method of torture where you tie someone lying down against a table, and trap rodents under a container with a light on that persons body. Those rodents will end up having to dig through that persons body to get out.

Oh! That's the rat torture! Of course, it's rather fatal...much like the Pear of Anguish.
Same thing is possible with the torture I prescribed, except the person is still presentable enough to work the next day!

Oh gawd. I always had trouble watching Higurashi (especially with the nail ripping scene eek), but I'm honestly hoping this RP has some pretty intense scary scenes when it comes around to the horror part/episode/whatever you're gonna call it

Why rip out the nails? You could always just shove needles or sharpened sticks under them...!
u3u <( . . . )
So basically, I was just summarising the people at the bakery's general thing...but quite a few aren't on shift yet, and are just hanging out on their own elsewhere in the neighbourhood. I recommend reading the sections that you prefer to join into, and skimming or getting back to the other ones, if you're really fallen behind/lost right now.
Not much going on...my character Sakaki is waiting on Lucy to clean up the sugar glass pieces before mopping up, doing a few short socializations here or there.
Everyone else is starting up on their own jobs...
Sakaki: 'Much more resilient that he looks...' *looks over at the wet floor sign back in the cart* "I'm supposed to put that on after everything has been cleaned up."
Volunteerin' to make a recruitin' interest check?
:D
Are you volunteering~?
ouo <( <3 )
Actually, your character's family sounds much more interesting...we can save Sakaki's father and colleagues for the home visit episode.

Sakaki is still passive aggressive about a certain mouse being kept around against regulations...

Also, barbequing outside...just me and some relatives, being bored and all...so...
