No, I'm talking about his role in the testing of humanity...that was less of a pride thing, and more of him just not wanting God to deceive the humans. Lucifer's name means (more or less) the 'light bringer', he wants to enlighten people to the truth, that's his thing. He was already fallen at that point, along with a number of his follower angels, mainly on his bud's (Belial's) advice to go independent.

Lucifer is one of the oldest demons, but I don't think a specific number should be put to his age. Just 'cause he has a daughter, doesn't mean he'd get married...especially since you're talking about Lucifer here.

Powers

Snake charmer : don't think it bare mentioning, as it's pretty much a passive default.

Light destruction flare : not sure about this, but I'll look into it.

Harsh shout : not sure about this, but I'll look into it.

Shifting : doesn't seem necessary...ish, though I will look into some form of it. Lucifer is the most gorgeous angel previously from heaven, and thus doesn't even need something like shifting, he just needs to show up.

Lucifer is probably the angel with the strongest affinity for light...

Also, I assume we go Lucifer=Satan for this...?

Lucifer is less the master of temptations, and the speaker of truths...

Lucifer: "Pssst...yo, snakey!"
Temptation: "Uh, what is it, boss?"
Lucifer: "I see god is keeping people in the dark again, and that don't fly with me. Go tell that human woman to eat that apple, also...maybe you should bed her or something. Her mate is positively boring her."
Temptation: "Erm...but, wouldn't giving them the knowledge of good and evil also make them aware of your presence? God may just raise them up to eventually get rid of you...?"
Lucifer: "Meh...I can deal with that when it happens, and I don't see it happening for a long time. God doesn't see the humans as anything, and thus they won't be anything, till I raise them up multiple times in sin."
