If your character is a human Skender comes to like, he'd cut off a section of his own arm and prepare it (spice, season, marinade) by hand himself before giving it to them, depending on what they like...gift wrapped with a silky pink bow, in a fine silver pot, of course...

I had imagined my character to eat flesh to temporarily gain someone's power/ability, but needs to eat their brains to keep it permanently. Or something. But yes, I do plan to have this character go grave robbing for a meal at some point. He'll be a traveling chef looking to be a master.

Would it be magic power, or actual character skill and abilities mimicked?

Luka...meh, she's only got a few more years to do wild thing before retiring, so she'll do them...within reason.

Does this character have to kill, then eat the person in order to gain their power? Or, do they just need to eat a body part?
The latter maybe over-powered, they'd be grave robbing all the buried soldiers n heroes for their rotting flesh power...and if this character is human, Skender would be willing to share some of his flesh if he likes the person enough...

Well, he might not mind so much if he was bored or tired. He'd spend a while in your character's body as a parasitic tapeworm or something, till he remembers he isn't actually naturally a tapeworm, then evacuates the body.
