Yes...the teach is a vampire suffering a horrible, uncontrollable, yet common vice...alcoholism. He also happens to be the same vampire that made a pact with the Headmaster.

Tatiana Grozny has a pact with an air spirit, who will lessen the effect of the winds and increase shot accuracy. Her other pact is with wild spirit, who will assume the form of a random preloaded gun once a week for her use.
