No, some have enchantments, some don't...very rarely do they get humanoid forms, unless aided by a mage gifted with specific magics. Very rarely do they have magic strong enough to have a humanoid form, and any being with a humanoid form and strong magics are probably students. That being said, I over complicate things. In the walls of the academy, all of the familiars can choose to assume humanoid forms. None of them have strong magics of their own, though. Save for epic face puss caterpillar, who refuses to assume a humanoid form in front of the lesser beings, but also is actually secretly strong in magic.

Mrah...I was going for a person without any character...but sure, why not? I don't have much hope at this point for another person join immediately.
The one thing I ask is that you cannot pair your two characters together. They can have a friendship ending, but they can't become more than that.
Oh yeah, also...choose a family name, and the main is all human.

And...uh...male-on-male public displays of affection causes Darcy's heart to race...whatever that means...

Yo, ereboday...this thing is goin' slow...last time, I made a game of it to write up character ends...how about you all post up your ideas of character ends?

Character (Scripted) Endings?

Darcy Endings
Fated Arrangement:
Best End (mastered 10 different forms of magic, at least one life magic, made all the better/best dialogue/event choices, gained high affection points) – is turned a true, gendered human, with all the magical energy of their being still deep inside them. They marry the main, and the possibility of their children and descendants being the true masters of magic are high.
Good End (mastered 5 different forms of magic, at least one life magic, made most of the better/best dialogue/event choices, gained a good amount of affection points over friendship points) – is turned a true, gendered human, though the magical energy that once course through them is now gone…making them a normal human. The main’s parents are reluctant to marry the main to Darcy now, since the chances of their children having strong magic has diminished. But, the main fights and eventually marries them, regardless of the fact.
Neutral End (mastered 5 different forms of magic, at least one life magic, made most of the good/neutral dialogue/event choices, gained a good amount of friendship points over affection points) – same as good end, but they part their ways. Darcy can now live as an actual human being, since they can’t fulfil their original reason for having existed.
Bad End (knows a little life magic, made neutral to bad dialogue/event choices, there are slightly more affection points than hate or friendship points) – is turned a true, gendered human, though the loss of the magical energy they once had causes their body to begin weakening. They marry, and spend the last few days together, before Darcy eventually passes away in their sleep.
Worst End (knows a little life magic, made bad dialogue/event choices, there are more hate points than friendship or affection points) – same as bad end, except they don’t marry. Darcy eventually leaves to wander and die alone.
Hated Arrangement:
Endure In Silence End - (little to no affection or friendship points were earned, or hatred points were earned instead. engagement wasn’t broken, bad dialogue/event choices were made, the main mastered more than 5 magics) they get married unhappily, through mainly resentment; the main doesn’t make Darcy a normal gendered human being. Darcy doesn’t complain, and is treated more like a slave than anything.
Moving On End - (little to no affection or friendship points were earned, or hatred points were earned instead. engagement wasn’t broken, bad dialogue/event choices were made, the main mastered less than 5 magics) they get married unhappily, through mainly lack of mastery or skill; the main doesn’t make Darcy a normal gendered human being. Darcy doesn’t complain, and instead kills the main in their sleep, moving on and planning to marry a better magic user instead.
Fated Fusion:
Good End (Maxed out knowledge of arcane objects, and learned odd fusion magic) – Darcy fused with the main, powering up their newly learned abilities, and giving them unlimited magical power. The main thinks themselves alone now…but hears Darcy’s words of encouragement cheering them on, in the back of their heads. They decide to push on, and eventually become the most powerful mage like they intended.
Bad End (Didn’t max out the arcane objects knowledge or learned odd fusion magic, or changed mind last minute about the fusion with Darcy) – Darcy attempts to fuse with the main, but it fails, utterly destroying Darcy and crippling the main’s magic. The main is disowned, and lives the life of a normal human day labourer.

Darcy Sub-Endings
To Destroy a Relic:
Had asked for Darcy to be destroyed when given the chance, after their father revealed that they were created from magic objects in order to be coupled with the main…
Broke Off Engagement:
Convince Darcy, his/her father, or the main’s parent’s to break off the engagement.
Swapped Siblings:
Kusunagi Albescu - Main convinces Darcy, his/her father, or the main’s parent’s to change the engagement to one of their siblings, instead...with Kusunagi's consent, or even their insistence. Darcy doesn't mind being a source of blood, and through that, a source of strong magic...but...
Who Needs a Definitive Gender?:
Lynn and Darcy don't!

Destroyed the Realm:
Is convinced to try and use some magic, despite what his/her father told them...
Buddy Buddy End:
Darcy is convinced by the main to befriend everyone, and is seen by the main doing so.
Genderless Harem Accumulator:
Darcy is convinced by the main to romance everyone, and is seen by the main doing so.
Hated Stranger:
Darcy is convinced by the main to make enemies of everyone, and is seen by the main doing so.

Just made the intropost...it isn't neutral, it's mainly about my dude, who eventually gets onto a forum to whine. He only whines about his injuries online, on forums...

“There doesn’t seem to be anything more than just bruising, a minor scrape and concussion. You should be fine, feeling a little bit of vertigo here or there. If you lose consciousness suddenly, or feel any sort of splitting pain to your head, you can come back for another visit.” When Jay left the hospital with his aunt, though the doctor had given him specific instructions for how to conduct himself after a minor concussion, all he could think about was the pain to his back. It was supposedly only bruising, but it was a soreness that didn’t feel like it would be going away any time soon.

Returning to the apartment building, he entered into the small hallway…and glared at his newest enemy, who ran into the arms of the elderly lady standing in the furthest end of the hall. That little bitch of a corgi…he actually liked dogs, but this one was always biting his pant leg. It went too far, this time, standing and tackling him off a staircase’s middle step. Jay was sent tumbling down the steps, while his younger cousin watched in horror. Or course, the corgi landed on him, with no injury. His aunt, the landlady, gave the elderly woman a stern talking to before driving him to the hospital.

Hurrying up the stairs, while his aunt went back over to lecture the elderly woman again, and while making sure the foul (yet admittedly cute) little beast wasn’t following him in order to jump him for round two, he made his way to the apartment. The apartment was a small one joined to his aunt and uncle’s larger place. Nothing fancy, just a small studio apartment big enough for his stuff. Stretching out a bit, and reaching for the door knob, his younger cousins burst out and jumped him. Well, 10 year old Allie did, anyways. She was crying while simultaneously saying something about him possibly dying, and 14 year old Josh was playing on Jay’s Playstation 4.

After the girl got settled back into reading her vampire central romance novel, Jay plotted himself back into his wheelie chair…letting out a grunt of pain at his back and minor head pain, before pulling his headphones on. Putting on some Baroque music, he opened up a PDF version of his history text, and got to work memorising…well, that was what he’d do normally. Half way through a track labelled ‘Rondo from Abdelazer’, he decided to considered his health and condition, and instead slack off for a little while. Checking his email, watching funny cat videos (no dog videos today, for obvious reasons), eventually he ended up on a pretty random forum. The forum was supposedly made for people of his city to communicate with each other anonymously…a city of loners and anti-socials. Of course, nothing could stop people from just signing up, even if they were out of city…but there were a lot of funny posts and funny people, and the chat rooms attached to it were always a barrel of laughs. So…he’d stay for that till he got bored, and switched over to the next forum over.

Pausing to think for a moment, he decided to make a small thread on what happened today…

You wouldn’t believe what happened to me today! I was walking up the stairs to my apartment when doom-beast of death and destruction tackled me, sending me crashing down to the bottom of the steps.

Don’t be fooled! This isn’t even the first time doom-beast tried to kill me! I barely got away with a concussion and a bruised, bruised back…
