Garrick followed close behind but still somewhat far away. She lead him down a block and a half to an apartment complex. Then she proceeded to lead him up the stairs to a small but rather cozy apartment with a small but nice kitchen and a window overlooking the city, "This place is lovely...And i"m used to being super cozy..." He smiled at her, "My apartment isn't much bigger believe it or not."

Elaine stepped out into the open and stood in front of him no longer being sneaky, "You are something special yes?" Elaine had some scales still and white skin since her human form wasn't protected, "You are a fine specimen of human..." She got closer and touched his arms her claws barely touching his skin, "Have you guessed at what I am yet?"

As they approached shore the sirens from the officers lit up and they trained their weapons on them, A loud voice came over the intercom from the beach, "Stop right there! don't move any closer to the shoreline or you will be shot!" Allen floated up above the boat, "We mean you all no harm! We are victims...We were captured by Vitus...Manged to escape before they could mind control us..." A man in a black suit stepped out in front of the police, he had a bull horn, "Dr Allen Willows...Nice to see you're still around...We have some questions for you and everyone on board."

Elaine cocked her head to the side, "Hmmm" She snaked around and saw bandages, "Can you see human?" She snaked through the trees like a serpent to keep him from seeing her, "The dead in these woods do grow restless from time to time...I'm sure they appreciate having someone to talk to." Elaine turned to her human form which changed her voice to that of a soft-spoken woman, "But that still doesn't guarantee you passage through my trees...What is your name?"

Garrick realized right then just how beautiful she was and his face turned a bit red, "Lunch sounds nice...I haven't really hung out with anyone..." He wanted to say since the day in Rome but the memories were like poison and talking about them made him sick, "Since forever..." He smiled and followed her. "Well...Lead the way I suppose."
