Yes, it's real enough that me and my family speak it. :) Mabakud means "strong", and abaga means "arm", so basically, strong arm.
ALL RIGHT ILL GET TO IT

other than that, any other problems with the character? :) Also, if you're curious, the language is called Hiligaynon.
Oh, I was planning to incorporate him joining into the agency in my first post! Did you still want me to simply say how he joined in the back story?

Well fuck, I didn't know that particular part about gambling. I'll change his job to something more legal.

And I'll provide a reason for him saying the spell, but do I really have to say every single thing about his story? The phrase IS in an actual language, btw.
Name: Jeffrey Fajardo

Age: 21

Appearance: 6 feet and 5 inches tall

Personality:

Abilities: Jeffrey has an affinity with Force, which means that he is talented with “destruction”, “buffing”, and “teleportation” type spells. However, he does not know much outside of standard reinforcement of physical body strength and the simple force blast, as only recently did he discover his powers for himself.

Weapons/Equipment: His deck of cards that he constantly carries around. He casts his spells by throwing a card with its “flat side” facing towards him, held afloat by a bit of Force, writing the magic symbol, mumbling the spell name, and “punching” the card so that a magical blast comes out. As for bodily reinforcements, his card must be slapped onto the part of the body he wants to strengthen; otherwise, he still must write the symbol and say the words to make the spell have any decent effect on it.

Brief Backstory:
All right. Thanks so much for answering my questions! Really appreciate it girl! :D
In my CS or in my posts?
Things don't have to be solid to have force. Also, like I said, it only works for destruction type spells that are pure projectiles I guess. I want to be creative and a little bit flexible with my character, lol.
Uh, I posted my explanation JUST before your reply, LOL.
He reinforces the spells with his own Force spells. It only works with spells that have the trait of destruction though, like fire. :D When a destruction spell is launched, he sends a force spell right behind it, making it gain velocity and power.

TECHNICALLY, gravity also falls under the physics sense of force, but then my character would be a little too OP. :P
Yeah, but force shields are a no, you said. :/ Which I kinda don't understand why. I can work around that by having a defensive spell which makes him send out a wave of force outward to deflect spells or physical objects. Idk if that's ok or not.

I also looked up the physics sense of "force", and friction and velocity (the manipulation of static and dynamic states) fall under this category. In that case, he can slow down and speed up himself or the things around him. "Force" can be general, but I plan to narrow his powers' limitations to friction, velocity, being able to power up physical objects or the spells of others (to a lesser extent) by making them stronger.

I already have majority of the CS going, I just need the clarifications and confirmations of his power.
