I have a suggestion regarding the relic's power source and how it actually chooses its wearer.

Everyone has a little bit of magical energy inside of them, but those levels frequently aren't enough to rationally sustain relics; users of the artifacts usually have a stronger, more abundant supply than most people, above average let's say. As for how it chooses its wearer, there must be (a) certain condition(s) to be met. For example, Kaiden's bell relic requires the user to be blind. That makes sense, right? But then we have Shin, and let's say that the Mask's conditions were that someone who wears it must be used to following orders without question, but has a potential for making individual thoughts and ambitions outside the instructions (I know this wording is a bit weird, sorry)!

Definitely interested! I like the background and stuff, it reminds me of the game called "Skyborn" where there are winged people who are of the aristocracy, and humans who are considered below them.

I have a question though: how do the weapons work exactly? As someone not that familiar with the steampunk setting, I would like a bit of a fill-in for weaponry.

I think it's good to start off from where we left off. I wouldn't want your progress to just evaporate like that. That's kind of how life is in general, we work with what we have, and honestly, what we have right now isn't that bad at all.

However, we have a better understanding of the limits of the world, and if we decide to start anew, that's fine with me too. :)

Yes actually! Just look at the very front, the intro post, and you'll see that there is a lot of info about lore, NPCs, and of course, our character sheets.

And I agree with you Ellri. You guys have put so much effort into making this world come alive, that even I, someone who doesn't take RPing that seriously, want to help manage it if you would have me.

It's not drama; there's one pair talking about physics, and the GM suddenly decided to step down for whatever reason. I hope to hear from him and have our questions answered, but right now, as far as I could say, the RP isn't full.
