I made that slight edit to my CS back on page 5. Just a little touch up to the history. Hope that's what you wanted.
Perhaps I could change his back story to say that rather than the taxes being high, those particular soldiers were extorting the family for their own personal gain, asking for high payments as well as the Phoenix King's tax? It's a little late so coming up with ideas is starting to get hard. I will rewrite it tomorrow~ Now time for sleep.
I'm so sorry this took so long to make, I've been very distracted with my assignments as of late @-@

I hope he's okay, I can change anything if I need to.

[Male | 22 | Earth Kingdom - Rebel]

Soudai Fuusoujou is an energetic youth who is the eldest of three brothers with a positive outlook on life. Growing up on a farm in the Earth Kingdom, Soudai learnt to appreciate the efforts of hard work and determination. He’s the type of person who gives 110% at everything he does. His optimism is a great motivator and coupled with his playful enthusiasm makes him so approachable and fun to be around. He is a loyal ally to have, going above and beyond for a friend whenever the opportunity arises. He tends to get ahead of himself at times, placing him in situations that are difficult to back out of and leading to trouble.

Soudai loves to be outdoors more than anything, and the idea of being classy or formal repulses him. He just can’t picture himself in some gaudy noble’s robes and often jokes that he’ll probably get married wearing his dirt covered vest and hood. His lifestyle is rather active and he hates not having anything to do. He’s incredibly stubborn and doesn’t like asking for help with tasks, even when feeling overwhelmed. The forests is where he feels most at home, swinging through the trees just like he used to as a kid.

He can be rather over protective of his younger brothers, sheltering them perhaps a little too much. He and his siblings are always arguing over how strict he is, leading to a lot of strife between them. Soudai fears for their safety, after the injustice that befell his parents when they were younger. Soudai’s strength comes from his belief that one day the world will change for the better.

Traits
Soudai is a non-bender with no formal combat training aside from basic hunting lessons given to him by his father when he was younger. He was a very active child, spending lots of times running around forests and climbing trees. As a result of this, Soudai is very quick on his feet and incredibly agile. While he doesn’t possess incredibly keen instincts, his training has taught him to be very sensitive to the world around him. He has better than average senses and he is rather adept at tracking. Growing up on a farm has given him decent physical strength because of all the time he spent labouring to help his parents.

His proficiency with a bow is subpar at best. Good enough to hunt wild animals, assuming they aren’t moving, but he has a very long way to go before he can be considered a skilled marksman. Soudai’s true talent lies in his ability as a scout. He is quite mobile through the trees and can remain undetected for great periods of times while hunting or spying. He’s also quite skilled at creating traps for animals and is still learning to make stronger traps for capturing people.

Yumi Fuusoujou (Mother – Deceased)
Jin Fuusoujou (Father – Deceased)
Ken Fuusoujou (Brother)
Minato Fuusoujou (Brother)

History
Soudai’s family was never wealthy with material possessions, but they were among the fortunate few to be blessed with bountiful harvests of fruits to sell. They always had just enough to pay their taxes as well as get by. They lived on a large farm in the Earth Kingdom that grew many orchards of apples. Most of Soudai’s youth was spent in the trees, climbing and swinging from them. Over time it came naturally to him, and eventually his mother stopped worrying about him falling and breaking something. She was more worried now of the influence he had on his younger brothers, who were trying to copy his high flying act. His brother Ken was only a year younger than him, and the two of them often fought over which of them could climb the fastest or beat the other in a spar with wooden swords. Their rivalry even pushed into their work, competing to see who could harvest the most apples. Their parents had no issue with this, since it got the work done quite fast. The youngest brother, Minato, was the only bender out of the three brothers. He was fortunate enough to inherit earth bending from his mother, but she was never trained in the art so most of his skills with bending had to be self-taught. A feat which left Minato quite inept at bending, at least until he could find a master willing to teach him.

The family had a simple lifestyle and were complacent. Suddenly, out of the blue, the soldiers of the phoenix king started showing up demanding that the family pay extra to them on top of their taxes as "insurance" for the safety of their Orchard. They demanded that a high percentage of the families profits be given up to them, as well as three barrels of apples each harvest. Even despite their successful harvests of apples, the family couldn’t afford to meet demands from the soldiers and the Phoenix King's taxes and feed themselves, so Soudai and his father took to hunting and gathering in order to provide for the family. His father used to comment on how Soudai truly came alive when in the forest, as if he had a spiritual connection to it. The way he positioned himself through the trees to ambush his prey was handled with such delicacy and precision that you could swear he’d been doing this his whole life. His days became a routine of waking up early to climb through the treetops to watch the sunrise, practicing archery in the forests and then gathering herbs and fruits from the forest to bring him for breakfast. Then, he and his father would head back into the forest; which him scouting the area for beasts and his father taking them out from afar. Eventually his archery training become proficient enough for him to hunt on his own, but he was still too dependent on remaining completely hidden to get the drop on his prey. He couldn’t hope to hit animals that were moving, so he usually stuck to sources of water and waited for them to come in for a drink to snag the kill.

One hot afternoon, Soudai and his brothers were returning from a swim in the river when they saw horses with Phoenix King emblems embroided onto their saddles. This didn’t surprise them, since the soldiers usually came around at this time to collect the tax for that week. The brothers entered the house to find their father arguing with the soldiers, with their mother doing her best to keep them calm. The soldiers had started demanding more and more from the family, and with the orchards being out of season at the time they just couldn’t afford to pay their ridiculous amount. His father asked them to be merciful, saying that he couldn’t feed his children if the taxes kept rising. The soldier’s response was to draw their weapons against the three brothers, offering to remove a few mouths to feed to their father. Fearing for the safety of her children, Soudai’s mother stood in front of them in a basic combat stance. His father also brought out his dagger, staring off against the two soldiers. Soudai himself was also aiming his bow at them. He wasn’t confident he would hit them, but the soldiers didn’t feel too confident squaring off three on two. Slowly they left, departing from the farm reluctantly. Soudai’s parents told them to back whatever they could and that they would be departing later that night.

Soudai and his brothers packed a bunch of food and water and waited outside by the forest for his parents. Off in the distance they could see the trail of smoke coming closer towards their farm. They knew the soldiers would come back eventually for them, so they had to be gone as soon as possible. Soudai saw his parents approach them, but they hadn’t packed anything to bring. It soon became clear that they had no attention of accompanying them. Their mother told them to take to the trees, confident that the soldiers would never catch them there. Her and their father intended to stay back to give them a good head start. Of course, the brothers refused to leave without them, but their parents were persistent, determined to make sure they made it out safely. His heart heavy, Soudai decided that getting his younger brothers out safely was his most important task, so he agreed to his parent’s terms and took his crying brothers into the forest with him. They could see the cloud of smoke and ash rising into the sky over where their farm used to be. None of them dare mention what may have happened to their parents, but deep down they all knew what became of them. After a while of wandering through the forests, surviving thanks to Soudai’s hunting skills, they came across the Rising. Soudai joined them with his brothers, knowing that he could keep his siblings safe with them. Pretty soon though, he began to truly believe in their cause and decided to offer his talents as a scout to the group of rebels with dreams of a peaceful world for him and his brothers.

Miscellaneous
Soudai’s bow was crafted for him by his father and his most prized possession.
Soudai also keeps a grappling hook tied to his belt
Soudai lacks any real combat power, but makes up for it with his skills in scouting and tracking.
In the picture his eyes are red, ignore this, they are brown IC
Soudai’s mother is from the Earth Kingdom, but her grandfather was from the Northern water tribe. His genetics passed down through the family, giving Soudai silver hair just like his mothers.
I'm gonna start working on my character now, sorry for taking so long with it
Man, someone just got burnt so bad they gonna need a 3 year long journey to reclaim their honor.
I will get to work on a post~

After I watch the newest episode of Free! ofcoarse...
I'm still thinking of ideas for a character I'd like to make.

I'm thinking either a fire bender or a non-bender that lived in one of those rural farm towns around the earth kingdom.
The university I'm trying to get into for next year is being unnecessarily difficult with my application, so I'm kind of annoyed, but other than that I am great.
I absolutely love the amount of effort that went into this, it was a joy to read.

I'm very interested in joining, although I don't really have any ideas on what character I'd like to have.
The music rang loud in Amy’s ears, making her heart pound with every beat. Even sitting in a small booth in the farthest corner of the club did nothing to fade out the music. She didn’t like having her voice competing with the music. She could barely make out what anything her friends were saying either. Jessica held up her glass into the air, her face red.
“Happy Birthday, Cordelia!” She shouted. Her speech was slurred and slow, and she needed to stop for a moment to gather her thoughts. “And you’re totally 21 today! Haha!” She added, as one of the club’s waiters walked by, eyeing the group of girls suspiciously.
“Dumbass,” Jackie muttered under her breath as the waiter walked away. “Stop being so obvious, you’re going to get us thrown out.
“Lighten up, babe, there are other kids from beacon here tonight.” Jess mumbled, sitting back down after downing the rest of her drink. Amy had never seen Jess polish off so many drinks in one sitting.
“Yes, but they’re not drinking. If you wanted to drink, we should have just done it at home.” Jackie retorted with.
“No one wants to spend their birthday at home! What’s wrong with you?” Amy watched the two bicker, taking small sips from her own drink. She tried her best not to cringe at the strong aftertaste of the beverage. She had never tried anything alcoholic before tonight, and she couldn’t see herself wanting to ever again. Cordelia sat quietly in the corner of the booth, eyeing a guy from Beacon in one of their classes. It was painfully obvious that she wanted to excuse herself to go talk to him.

“Guys, let’s all go dance. I’ve been sitting here for the last hour doing nothing, I gotta move around or I’ll explode.” Amy whined, standing up to stretch. As soon as she stopped talking, Cordelia immediately stood up.
“Yes, doesn’t that sound like fun guys? Let’s all go dance!” Amy smiled at her eagerness, but she knew that it wasn’t them that Cordelia wanted to dance with.
“The orders of the birthday girl are absolute!” Jess yelled, raising her empty glass into the air.
“Sounds like fun, maybe we can make a request for a song at the DJ.” The girls left their booth and headed over to the dance floor. The music excited Amy to her very core, and she could feel her blood pumping in tune with the beat. Based on the expression that Jess and Jackie had on their faces while they danced, they felt the same way. When the song ended, the three huddled together in a large hug.
“That was great! Do you think they’ll play the song you asked for next, Jack?” Amy panted, using Jess as a support so she didn’t tip over.
“I hope so. Hang on where’s Cordelia?” They looked around, only to find Cordelia sitting down in a booth with the boy from her class. They were laughing together.
“Man she works fast. Check this out Jess.” Amy tried to turn her around to face Cordelia, but Jess was fixated on a young girl being hassled by a man.
“Some people are so disgusting. Think we should help her out?” Before Amy could comment, the girl stood up and decked the creep that was coming onto her; revealing that they were actually a boy this whole time.
“Holy shit!” Jackie exclaimed, her jaw practically hitting the ground. “That boy’s prettier than I am!”
“That’s not a very high bar to reach, Jack” Jess teased, which Jackie responded to by flipping her the bird.

Amy laughed, but when the boy started raising his voice to the man who had been trying to hit on him, the mood in the club went dull. Smuggling creatures of Grimm? Why would anyone want to do that? The employees of the club pounced on the boy, but he fought them off with such little effort that Amy was too awestruck to pull out her weapon. That was when the Beowolves came charging out at the boy. He seemed confident in handling them, but Amy knew better than to underestimate a creature of Grimm. She quickly swooped forward, pulling out a small metal pole with a chain wrapped around it. She quickly unwrapped the chain, extending the pole to a decent size. The blades of Bloodthirster extended out from the spearhead of the weapon, attached to the long metallic chain. She came to a sudden halt, skidding along the sleek dance floor while swinging her axe backwards like a baseball hat. Pushing forward with all her might, she swung her weapon forward in a long arc towards the Beowolf. As the weapon sliced through the air, she hit a little switch on the bottom of the axe’s shaft, sending the blades flying forward at the creature. The beowolf raised his arm to take a swipe at the boy attacking the other wolf, but their head quickly turned towards Amy as it felt her attack coming. It wasn’t quick enough to react, and the blade of Bloodthirster crashed into its raised arm with a sickening crunch. The wolf let out a whimper, its arm going limp at its side. Standing on three paws, it growled at Amy before charging at her with a limp. As it ran at her, Amy flipped the switch on her weapon again and swung the pole directly across her chest diagonally, bringing the blade of the axe flying back towards the beast running at her. The axe collided with one if it’s hind legs, tripping it over. While it was falling, Amy poised herself, stepping forward with a quick twirl to deliver a straight kick to the large jaw of the beast. It keeled backwards onto its back, dazed from the blow. She retracted her axe, holding it in front of her before leaping up over the beast. She held her axe high, swinging it down onto the beast’s chest to deal the final blow. The wolf was quicker than she thought, and managed to roll out from her attack and avoid death. She barely had enough time to hold up her axe in front of her to block the massive paw crashing down onto her. Stumbling back, she found herself closer to the boy fighting the other wolf.
“Isn’t this a riot?” She yelled over to him, a cheeky grin plastered across her face as the wolf prepared its next attack.
