"Comrades isn't simply a word. Comrades are about heart. It's the unconditional trust in your partners. You are never alone... The hopes we carry are matched by the number of stars twinkling in the night sky..."

The Fairy Tail Guild has been home to countless legends throughout the generations. The power of their Wizards is only rivaled by the bonds of love and friendship they all share with each other. Time and time again these bonds have been tested, but they always remain resilient. The Guild stays strong, knowing that even if the world were to stand against them they would never crumble. It does not matter whether you are of the old generation or the new. What matters is that you are a part of Fairy Tail, and that is a bond that will withstand the tests of time for many generations to come. Darkness looms over the Kingdom of Fiore once more with the arrival of those who would seek to destroy the light that radiates from the warmth of our hearts. Stand United, Fairies. The greatest test of our guild's strength is just around the corner.
This is another basic Fairy Tail RP. The story for this roleplay is loosely based on an idea me and a friend had ages ago that never really came to light. I've always regretted not making it, but things just always got in the way and prevented me from roleplaying. I am very accepting of all kinds of characters, but just know that I tend to be very judgemental of characters that start out insanely strong. I'm not saying you can't make them, but just know that your CS will be judged more harshly than someone making a novice character. I don't know how many people I'm looking for, but I'd like a very diverse cast of dedicated roleplayers.

The way I like to GM roleplays is usually very hit or miss, because I tend to leave the story mostly up to the characters in the roleplay. I have general ideas planned for an overarching plot, however most of the antagonists, missions and sub-plots will be designed by all of you guys. In fact what I'm hoping will happen is that we'll all split off into our own little groups and kind of make our own teams of characters that take on separate requests at once (of coarse we can always switch things up throughout the rp, like person X joins person Y's team for 1 or 2 missions, and sometimes we'll all be together for big events). The only way this system works is if we all communicate with each other to make sure the plot is advancing in a way that we all think is interesting and unique. I do have things planned, but I'm hoping I won't need to bring those in for a while.

Below are the rules, please make sure you read all of them. I'm a very laid back GM and I overlook most things as long as they don't become a problem; but please do your best to follow the rules I set up.

The Rules

  • Respect the decisions of the GM, and go to me for any problems you might have

  • Stay within High Casual roleplaying Standards, and be active in both the IC and OOC

  • Keep OOC out of the IC and vice versa

  • General roleplaying rules (No godmodding, metagaming etc)

  • Ignore all Canon Characters and antagonists, they don't exist in this roleplay.

  • All Canon Magic is allowed, even Lost Magic. Try and keep it to about 2-3 Lost Magic users. This includes Dragon Slayers.

  • Custom Magic is allowed and encouraged! I love seeing what people come up with.

  • You can make your character as powerful as you want, but the higher up your character is the more I will be expecting from your CS/

  • Weaker Characters grow faster than Stronger Characters and will generally have more opportunities to shine

  • Despite me not minding stronger characters, I'm only allowing 2 S Class characters at the moment. Your CS's will need to impress me the most.

  • The Guild Master is an NPC old man that anyone can control in non-combat situations. I don't have a name for him yet, just call him Gramps.

  • If you don't think you're capable of meeting high casual standards but would like to join anyway, please don't let that stop you. All are welcome, and we're more than willing to give you a hand with posts if you need it.

  • The plot of this RP isn't very linear. Things won't happen one after the other at my command. You won't just be blindly following the story I put in place for most of this, and as such you are expected to further to story in an interesting way on your own. For this reason communication is VERY important. Talk to your fellow roleplayers, talk to me, organise things we can do to make the story more interesting that relate to our characters back stories and help further our IC relationships.

  • Above all, have fun! That's why we're here.

Starting off the Communication Bandwagon, I'm going to give you all my Skype in case you ever need to contact me. I may not respond quick enough to PM's on the guild, but it's hard for me to ignore a skype message. My skype name is flyingminthare.

The Request Board

Once the roleplay gets going, this is where my roleplaying system comes into play. I expect you guys to take initiative and further the story yourselves, but I know that sometimes it can be hard. So In this spot I will place a bunch of random job requests your characters can do by themselves or in groups to earn money. This will give you an excuse to go out with other characters and interact. Additionally, 2-3 requests on this will be in Bold. This means that these quests are directly related to the overarching story in some way. Don't worry too much about it though, the relation isn't major and will only serve as a way for hints to be dropped about the main story. I will have to be present for those missions though, usually playing an NPC that can somehow share the information with you. But for everything else, you are the story writer! Don't be afraid to bring in gigantic threats because you think they'll "clash with the main story", because they won't. If you think a giant monster attacking Magnolia would be pretty fun to bring in, then talk to a few people about it and find a way to bring it in! If you want figures from your characters dark past to come into play with sub-plots AND the main story, then go right ahead! (you may wanna talk to me on skype though about having them involved with the main antagonists).

I don't know how well this system works, roleplays never seem to last long enough for me to find out. But I'm hoping it'll leave you guys feeling much more satisfied because you're in an environment where you control what happens for the most part.

The Character Sheet

I'll fill this in with the OOC, but feel free to ask me stuff in this thread about your character and what you can do. I'm generally accepting of most things.

that's all I really have to say. I'm sorry I can't go into more detail on the overarching plot, but like I said for the most part it will be you who decides the story. I just have little things planned along the way that everyone can get involved with.
Quickly put together post that may help to get everyone started
Christina moved over from the bar where Pan now sat, his belly stuffed with peanuts, and towards the request board. She couldn't afford to go another day without work, and she recalled seeing a job that would suit her perfectly. She reached her hand up to grab the request, but was surprised when she found that it had already been taken. She clenched her fist in the air and let out a long sigh. This was her punishment for over sleeping. Near her she could hear Fisk and Aura talking to the new members about taking on a request. A rescue mission for a young girl kidnapped by bandits. Her eyes widened in realization. That was the request she'd set her sites on. She could have really used those 40,000 jewels. Sucking it up, she walked over to the group. They could probably use the money more than she could, and it did seem like a good request to take the new members on. Approaching them, she flashed a smile at the new members.
"Well, aren't you two just adorable. I trust Fisk and Aura are making you comfortable?" She gave the two mages in her guild a quick, stern look. The reputation of her guild was everything to her, and she expected them to uphold it. "My name is Christina Montgomery, I've been here for a long time so feel free to ask me anything these two can't answer." She gave the group a quick nod before staring at the job request. She wanted to cry, seeing it someone else's hands. Ignoring the 40,000 jewels that had just slipped through her fingers, she stared at Fisk and Aura once more.
"I know you want to help these two get the hang of taking on jobs, but I suggest you guys leave now. Who knows what they might be doing to that poor girl." She patted them on the shoulders, wishing them luck before heading back to the bar where Pan was taking sips of ale from an oblivious mans pint. She was about to scold him, but then she realised it would just be a waste of efforts. Scooping him up in her hands, she headed back to the request board where Elijah was asking about Dark Guilds. She didn't know why he kept taking requests involving them; she did her best to avoid jobs like that. There was always a chance she'd run into members from Black Knight whenever she took one, and if they revealed who she was to her guild mates they would surely turn against her.

"You're already looking to take another request Elijah?" Christina said as she walked up to the board, scanning for another well paying job. There was one involving translating an ancient text for 8,000 jewels. That was a task she could get done quickly enough with Velpecula, so she tore it off. The text was attached to the back of the request, so she'd be able to do it from the guild. "Well, if you feel like taking a break for today I wouldn't mind going to get some coffee after I finish this request. Perhaps you should ease up a bit and join me?" Christina had no interest in dating anyone at the guild, and even though Elijah was quite handsome the only motive she had for inviting him out was to stop him from taking another request chasing after dark guilds. Every request he took may involve him running into Black Knight, and the fact that Christina had abandoned them to join Fairy Tail meant that they wouldn't hesitate to reveal her to anyone from Fairy Tail. She couldn't have that. She stared at Elijah, awaiting his response to her request.
GIZOOGLE IS THE GREATEST CREATION THE INTERNET HAS EVER SEEN
I can make another post just to get Christina involved with everyone, I can even try and get her to convince everyone to take the job so we can get a start on things.

I am currently working in an int check for another fairy tail rp (because all the others I'm in seemed to just die and I am too weak to not be in five thousand of them), but I can try and get the post up asap if that's what you guys want.
I don't think Damon would mind if we kept things going in their absence.
I'll try and post something tomorrow
If it's alright with the GM, I made another character today.

Name : Paige Young
Age : 20
Gender : Female

Personality : Spontaneous and somewhat psychotic, Paige has no respect for personal boundaries and often offends others or makes people incredibly uncomfortable around her. Her movements are random and are often accompanied by her haunting laughter. One would think she was dancing, contorting her thin body into strange bends and shapes often to unnerve her guild mates.

She tends to be over emotional and hyper most of the time, as well as having an unusual habit of talking about herself in 3rd person. Her past is disturbing and most people don’t want to hear it, but that doesn’t stop her from bringing it up constantly. What other people find disturbing, she finds fascinating, and as a result she has no shame sharing the gruesome details of her horrific childhood. People wonder why she stays in Fairy Tail, and in truth she doesn’t know herself. She just likes to go with the flow, see where life takes her. The people at fairy tail are creative, wacky and almost as psychotic as she is; and she loves that.

She has a passion for all forms of art; writing, painting, music, theatre, fashion and even magic itself. She adores creativity and uses her hyperactive imagination to make truly amazing things with her magic. She may be a little bit insane, but she fits right in at Fairy Tail.

History : Not many would believe that Paige was the daughter of 6th Ranked Wizard Saint Jiraiya, and that’s because it’s not true. While he has been retired for over 10 years now and had his Saint status removed by the Magic Council, it was of no question that Jiraiya was a wizard of great power. Young Paige was the daughter of a lovely young couple that belonged to the same Guild as Jiraiya, but it goes without question that Paige preferred spending time with the Wizard Saint. One day while Jiraiya was out on a mission, their Guild was invaded by many powerful mages belonging to a Dark Guild. Paige’s parents begged them to let her go, but their pleads only served to amuse the animals who would then tie Paige up on one of the tables and tilt it up so that she could watch every last one of her guild members, starting with her parents, be slowly torn to pieces and killed by the dark mages. They were slow and precise with their torture, and Paige was stuck there for 3 days while they painted her up in blood, stripped away her clothes and stuck sharp needles into her. Reinforcements eventually came, but by then there were only a handful of members left. The wizards were captured and locked away for life, but they had already left scars on Paige that would never heal.

When Jiraiya returned from his mission he did his best to comfort Paige, but nothing would stop her quite ramblings and tears. She’d repeat the names of everyone she was forced to watch die over and over again, as if they were branded into her mind. She spent a lot of her time inside, drawing the faces of the ‘bad men’ who hurt her parents. She drew, sand and performed all by herself, and eventually it just wasn’t enough. She wanted to learn magic. She wanted to learn the most beautiful, creative form of magic there was. Jiraiya possessed the Lost Magic, the Arc of Embodiment, and there was no magic more perfect for her to learn. The ability to turn imagination into reality was the most creative form of magic she could think of. Unfortunately, learning a lost magic is no walk in the park and it became more and more evident that Paige would never be able to learn to use the Arc of Embodiment. Seeing how disheartened she was, Jiraiya asked for her permission to intertwine a magical Lacrima in with her body that would greatly amplify her magic and allow her to use the Arc of Embodiment. She agreed, but having the Lacrima placed inside her was incredibly painful; but she was no stranger to pain even at the young age of 10.

Once the Lacrima was in the place, she spent most of her adolescence training with the Wizard Saint and even developed her own style of creation that involved the faces and corpses of her fallen family. While this form of creation was rather disturbing to Jiraiya, he understood that it was her way of coping and tried his best to be supportive of it. When she was 15, she had heard news of the men who had killed her family being moved to a new prison that wasn’t too far from where she lived. Just hearing their names triggered a psychotic reaction from her, in which she tore apart her room and threw a tantrum at Jiraiya for telling her she was to stay inside the house until he organised their removal. Having them removed wasn’t what she had in mind, so that night she snuck out and infiltrated the prison. With her Arc of Embodiment, she sent forth her undead minions to take down the guards so she could find the men responsible for her torture as a child. Her minions killed a lot of innocent guards, but she didn’t care. Her only goal was revenge, and anyone who got in her way would pay the price. When she found her targets, she gathered them up in the main hall of the prison. Jiraiya arrived at the Prison soon after, but he was too late. Paige tortured the mind and body of the men who had wronged her in such a sick and twisted way, that he instantly regretted ever teaching her to use magic. To say that she killed them would be an understatement.

Jiraiya was too old for this sort of work, and so he sought out the help of his friend Dia; the Fairy Tail Guild Master. He told her he planned on revoking his title as Wizard Saint and retiring. Looking after Paige was far too much work for him, and he just couldn’t keep up with someone so broken and twisted. Paige didn’t spare the details to anyone she met at Fairy Tail, and fairly soon everyone knew of her little breakdown in the prison and the lives she took. Very few people blamed her though, and it became obvious that despite her power as a mage she would need a lot of mental healing at Fairy Tail if they were to ever find out what she was really like. Since joining Fairy Tail, she’s improved dramatically over the years. She’s still a little off, but she rarely ever has big episodes or fits anymore. Dia thought she’d improved so much that she could even take the S-Class Exam; however she pulled out halfway through due to another mental breakdown which prevented her from continuing the exam. It’s not known whether or not she could make S-Class, but her magic power combined with the Lacrima inside her has given her exceptional strength and she’s proved herself more than once to be an incredibly capable Mage.

Magic Type : Caster Magic
Magic : Paige uses the Arc of Embodiment, a lost magic that lets her turn imagination into reality. Anything she can think of, her magic wills to life. Despite the diversity this form of magic offers, Paige chooses to limit herself to creating undead warriors with the faces and form of her dead family and friends. She’s not even sure if she has the skill to use her magic to create anything else. Common spells she uses with this include;

Warriors of the Dead - Paige can create a variety of undead warriors, ranging from skeletons, wraiths and zombies. Each can be equipped with different weapons according to her specific needs. These warriors are quite sturdy, but will shatter when defeated. Paige cannot rebuild them and will have to create new warriors if her current ones fall.

Bone Make - Paige can summon forth different sizes and shapes of bones similar to how a mage uses Maker Magic. Her bones are incredibly durable, able to withstand most physical attacks and moderate magical offences.

Grave Digger - Paige summons forth a large tombstone from the earth. The soil around the structure becomes rotten and soft. Anyone standing on the soil will have undead warriors reach up from the earth and attempt to drag them down into the ground with them.

Mist of Pestilence - Paige bathes the battlefield in a deadly toxin, causing sickness and weakening the physical capabilities of anyone caught inside it. She can control the density of the poisons as well as well as who breathes it in; allowing allies to fight within it safely.

Paige is capable of using more than just these spells, but these are a few of her favourites. The way she uses her Arc of Embodiment, she prefers to bring forth large structures associated with graveyards such as tombstones, mausoleums and statues of angels. After Paige murdered the men who killed her guild, she developed a large beast through her Arc of Embodiment with incredible power.

Beelzebub, Prince of Hell - Using her Arc of Embodiment, Paige summons forth a gigantic, monstrous fly wearing a large cape of corpses and wielding a scepter with a skull on it. Beelzebub is able to fly at high speeds and possesses immense physical strength and durability. He has amazing vision, able to pick up even the tiniest details. Beelzebub is capable of swallowing people whole, where the powerful acid of his stomach makes short work of them.

Here she is. I got her art from tumblr user Ikimaru, if anyone is interested in checking out her other work. If you don't want us to have more than 1 character that's fine, I'll just keep Paige hidden until another rp... unless I forget about her.
I'VE HAD TO GET UP AT 6AM EVERY DAY FOR THIS TEACHING COURSE AND MY BRO WAS SO PROUD OF HIMSELF FOR GETTING UP 'EARLY' TODAY AT 1PM

it sounds like you've got some interesting stuff planned. can't wait.
