I wouldn't mind continuing this, but I don't think I can be as active as my other rps.
I'd just go see Alicia about them. Feel free to respond for her as well so you can get going as quick as possible.
The wind pelted against Riley’s chest as he and Alex slowly trudged through two inches of snow that blanketed the ground around them for what felt like miles. They barely had an idea of where they were going, since the blizzard made it near impossible to see. They were both tough, so they could handle the icy wind that tried to rip them to shreds with every gust. Riley thought that they were going the wrong way, but the silhouettes of the mining town of Holstur began to appear in the distance. Only miners would be crazy enough to live out here. Although after Alex confirmed his suspicions of the snowstorm being conjured by a Wizard, it made him think that a blizzard of this size was a first for the citizens as well. How were they going to get all of them out safely in this? He didn’t know the answer, and before he could ask Alex the figures of a large army of men dressed in armour walked towards them.
“It’s the Rune Knights.” Their armour was similar to what Mary usually wore, except hers no longer had their crest magically imprinted on its breastplate. However, when the group got closer he started to notice differences in their armour. The Rune Knights didn’t wear large shoulder guards, and their armour was silver, not grey. He also noticed the strange animal horns that were attached to their helms.
“All intruders must surrender and die.” A soft voice spoke from behind them, a young girls voice. The whole thing confused Riley, but he didn’t have time to think as the strange figures bombarded Alex and Riley with an array of different magic.

Thanks to some quick thinking and movements by Alex, the two of them were able to escape the group of mages.
“This mission just got a whole of a lot harder.” Riley stood up from the hiding spot and stared at Alex. “Hey, you’re a pretty strong wizard. Think you can keep them busy while I go and search for the Rune Knights and the villagers?” The two agreed on the plan, and Riley bolted off from their spot and ran as fast as he could. The magical storm that they had been in seemed to have an eye, focussed around Holstur, so he could at least see where he was going. He managed to slip past the group of wizards and entered the barren village. He ran to the city square, the strange quietness of the village giving him the creeps. Upon entering the village square, he was left to witness a horrifying sight. He probably would have thrown up, if he hadn’t seen it before. The markings on the ground, the bodies placed at key positions to form a giant magic circle. If Yukiko hadn’t stepped in all those years ago, this would be his fate. The idea that these dark rituals were still being held made his blood boil, and even when an armed wizard approached him with the intent to kill him, he didn’t hesitate to quickly swipe his blade through the air in an upwards arc. The man managed to step back in time.
“Nice try kid, but that sword of yours can’t pierce my armo-” He stopped mid sentence, watching as his armour fell off of him piece by piece. He opened his mouth to call for backup, but he was quickly met with a left hook across the face from Riley, followed by a knee straight to his gut.
“Who the hell are you people?! Talk or I’ll gut you like a fish!” He yelled, demanding answers from the Wizard. He looked back at the various bodies scattered across the town square. There were many childre amongst them. Even a few newborns. He bit his lip to stop himself from screaming, his fists clenched tightly around the guards neck. “I’ll kill you, you monster!”

He watched as the colour began to drain from the struggling guards face, and seeing that look of pain twisted across his face reminded him of his parents and the way those Dark Wizards had killed them. He barely remembered their names or their faces, he only remembered the day they died. He released the man, who fell to the ground coughing and grasping for breathe. He quickly ran away, when the sound of footsteps behind him brought his attention a young woman only a few years younger than him.
“Are you… a survivor?” His eyes widened in shock. She was beautiful. Her long, ginger hair curled down her shoulders to her waist, and her face was petite and light. She wore a strange, Victorian style dress with white lace. She stared at him with a disinterested expression, raising her palms to face him.
“Begone, intruder.” A large, black Magic Circle materialised above Riley, scanning him up and down. Her power was insane, he’d never even felt this kind of magic pressure from Yukiko. Just the force of it kept his body locked in place. “On second thought, stay.” She had the same voice as before, the girl who was issuing commands to the Dark Wizards.
“You’ll miss the big show if I kill you, and you came all this way. Let me give you a front row seat, I’m sure Lilith will love your company.” She clicked her fingers, and another magic circle appeared beneath him. The ground bubbled with a black sludge, which latched onto his legs and began to pull him into the ground. He cried out for help, tried to resist, but nothing stopped him from being dragged under.

A few moments later he awoke on some strange, cold place. Below him he saw Holstur. She had teleported him to Mount Hakobe. There were so many dangerous animals on this mountain, and not to mention this ‘Lilith’ person the girl had mentioned. He couldn’t just sit around, so he decided to make his way back down the slippery mountain slopes.
Mary was already in the Soul Mountains, still wearing her sundress. She’d decided against wearing her armour at the very last minute, so she had a head start with picking flowers. She had already filled two baskets full of wildflowers when James and Aero began to make their way to her.
“Oh, hello you two.” She wrapped her arms around the two of them, pulling them together into a tight embrace. “I’m so sorry about storming out earlier, I guess you could say I wasn’t feeling the best.” The field around them were beautiful. The Soul Mountain pass was a popular tourist destination once, until bandit activity started to grow there. Now it was just a travel pass from Magnolia to the next town over; Haven. The Soul Mountains were a beautiful slate gray colour, and the large patches of wildflowers that were scatted throughout the pass were truly a sight to behold.
“Come on you two, we need to fill up 20 baskets each to meet our quota.”
I'm always here.
His arm is the lost magic, not heavenly body. He's saying in the CS that no one is able to cure the ailment in his arm because the magic curse places upon it is a lost form of magic. He himself doesn't use lost magic. Does that clear it up?

Anyway I don't want to say anything more in the character until it's done. I'll post when I get out of class.
Can I just say this, to everyone comparing Drake to actual Fairy Tail characters; I ask you to look at the rule that says canon characters are irrelevant in this rp, and that includes every aspect of the rp, even the ooc. I'm not going to give an opinion on the CS because regardless of how powerful he is, I'm okay with it as long as it is explained in-depth in the history. Am I the only one who isn't that bothered by the amount of spells he has? Some people like to be thorough and give a diverse listing of what their character can do, other character, like Maker Mages, tend to have very general and broad spells that imply they have a lot of utility.

Look the point is, everyone has different ideas on how they want their characters to be. Drake has a lot of non-magical skills, and if you look over them they aren't at all that broken. I was tired last night, and everyone seemed to have a lot of outcry to the CS, so I said I'd ask him to change a few things. However I only really have one problem with the CS. His arm. Could you perhaps remove the ability to transfer the madness to people through touch? I know it's a weaker form of madness, but considering everything else he has I don't think he really needs it. The idea for this disease he's plagued with was for it to be more of a hindrance to him, not something he can take advantage of and use against people. I like the idea of his arm being a lot more durable than normal though, so you can keep that. However he'll be the only one infected by it.

I also have another idea for the arm that I can talk to you about over skype. But you know, I just want to read a biography. The biography says a lot about the character and how they got to be so strong, and I have no doubt that you'll write one that shows this in an interesting way.
Cedric is a strong independent dragon tamer who don't need no training
Remember the rules guys. characters who are considered super powerful are allowed, as long as the history/personality is very indepth. So I'm not going to give my opinion until the history is finished.
You smell like lavenders Porylucia twisted her face in disgust as he made his way down the ladder from his loft into her stall. She was sitting in a large basin of water, he entire body practically submerged in it. She lifted her head through the surface and let off a low growl as he approached her. [/I]What, pray tell, implored you to venture into the deep and unknown world of soap for the first time in your life?[/I] Cedric lifted up his newly clean tunic, sniffing it before grinning at the drake that stared him down.
“I think I smell pretty nice.” He spoke with confidence. If Porylucia had been able to pick up on the soap he’d bathed himself in after the feast, then surely one of the many beautiful female tamers would also notice it. Picking up on his intentions, Porylucia lunged forward towards him and opened her mouth wide. He had no time to react, and was thrown back into the wall of the stall by a spray of almost boiling hot water. He slid down the wall and landed in a heap on the ground, groaning in pain.
How dare you have such desires with another female! You humans have no sense of loyalty or respect. Completely despicable. Cedric slowly stood up, spitting water out onto the ground while he stared at his completely drenched attire.
“Is this going to be a regular thing with you?” He strode over to her and began to stroke the side of her face gently. “I didn’t mean to offend you, I just thought it’d be nice to not smell like a wet dog for once.” Porylucia made her quick, short puffs of laughter again before nuzzling her snout against the left side of Cedric’s body.

You will bathe with me from now on, Cedric. We will show the other tamers just how powerful our bond is by sporting the same scent as each other. When she put it that way it didn’t seem all that bad. He promised her that next time they would bathe together and then walked up to his loft to dry off. His clothes were soaked, so he slept without them. He could hear the soft rumble of Porylucia’s breathes as he slept, and it was rather comforting.

6:30am - Warm ups

Cedric briskly made his way to the group, being as perky and energetic as usual. Part of this was due to the insanely effective wakeup Porylucia had given him. While he walked to them, soaking wet in lake water once more, he started to become used to showing up to the group drenched. At least he didn’t smell as bad. Porylucia strode behind him carefully, making sure to tidy him up with gentle strokes of her tongue as well as gentle streams of water from her throat. He was going to catch a cold if this kept up. He gave a nod to the other tamers, and Porylucia coiled her long neck around him protectively as she stared down the other tamers.
They smell disgusting she thought, projecting her opinion to all who could hear it. Obviously she wanted the other tamers and their drakes to hear her thoughts on them.
Hey, they’re tamers as well. They’re just like me, so ease up a little.
[/I]But they’re not you, Cedric. So I don’t care about them.[/I] He felt himself going a little red. A dragon thought so much more highly of him than anyone else in his life had. He’d wanted to complain about her, but after thinking it through he realised that there was no greater honour than being chosen by Porylucia.

With her treading slowly behind him, the lap wasn’t nearly as tiring as it could have been. He still wanted to throw up by the time it had ended though. He definitely wouldn’t be eating breakfast before warm ups anymore.

7:00am - Balance Practice

“Hey! Hey! Watch this!” Cedric yelled from the top of Porylucia to the other tamers. He stood upon her holster while she swayed from left to right, adjusting his hips, torso and footing with every movement she made. A life at sea had given him a better sense of balance than most would ever attain, and he was rubbing in every last bit of his talents to the others. “Come on Porylucia! I’ve been on ships that rocked harder than you!”
Pride is a sin, Cedric She was obviously annoyed that she wasn’t able to send him flying, and his taunts didn’t help. In one quick sweep, she turned herself almost all the way over. Expecting to see Cedric fall to the floor, she was ready to catch him in her claw. Her large eyes widened in shock when she saw that Cedric had grabbed on to one of her spinal fins. His feet were shifted in a way so that one was higher than the other, and he used his strength to keep his torso straight. He looked like he was scaling a wall, and Porylucia couldn’t help but be impressed that he’d kept his balance.
“Don’t underestimate a pirate, I’ve been through enough storms to know how to stay on my feet.” There was a sense of accomplishment in his voice. He was so happy that his first day of training was going so well.
I didn’t notice before, but you don’t really speak like a pirate do you?
“Of coarse I don’t.” He laughed, straightening himself up as Porylucia returned to her regular position. “My Ma didn’t raise me in the jungle, and I didn’t see a reason to drop everything I learnt from her once I started living out on the seas.” He sat cross legged on the back of Porylucia, the harness making sure he didn’t have to sit on her rough scales.
[/I]nonetheless, I must congratulate you. You are doing a lot better than I expected you to.[/I]
“Just watch, we’re gonna be flying through the skies perfectly by the end of the day!”

8:00am - Agility

Have you ever regretted saying something so badly that you wished you could rewind time? The thought crossed Cedric’s head as he laid sprawled out across the cold forest floor, his head up against a tree stump. It stung with pain. He didn’t expect soaring quickly in and out of trees on Porylucia’s back to be so challenging.
I thought that someone as skilled at dragon riding on their first day would be able to handle a little bit of extra speed her voice dripped with sarcasm, and even though he didn’t want to sound like a child; all he could manage to say was,
“I’m hungry.”
Lunch is a few hours away
He responded with a tired groan of pain.

10:00am - Flight Training

Porylucia spent the entire training session listening to Cedric’s tales on the seas, fascinated with every aspect of the young tamer.
“And then I was locked in a fight to the death up on the crows nest while their ship bombarded us with cannons. I disarmed the poor bastard and kicked him off the mast into the sea. Then the rest of them began to retreat. It was a hard earned victory, and I’d also managed to steal this beauty from the guy.” He twirled the golden brooch in his hands, looking at the small dolphin engraved into it. He pinned it back to his shirt and laid his head down on the soft leather of the harness.
When this war is over, let’s live on the sea. Just the two of us, forever. the idea comforted Cedric, and he slowly nodded his head in agreement before nodding off to sleep.

12:00pm - Lunch

Cedric rested in the nook of Porylucia’s arm, filling up his empty stomach with bread, cheese and sliced meat. He sat away from the other tamers, not being in the mood to socialise. Porylucia, on the other hand, was bragging to the other dragons about him. She was repeating all the stories that he had told her to them.
There is no doubt that I, obviously, made the best choice in my tamer. Look at how he respects me by staying by my side instead of socialising with the filthy humans. Cedric didn’t like the idea of several pairs of dragon eyes on him, so he turned his face into Porylucia’s rough breast and continued eating in silence. He ignored the chatter amongst the dragons.

3:00pm - ???

Should we really be skipping the first day of training? The two of them were swimming in the lake, Cedric stripped down to just his trousers and floating gentle across the water. Porylucia swam with little effort, each stroke of her wings and tail propelling her through the water like a bullet.
“It doesn’t matter, they’ll fill us in. I’m way too tired to train anymore for today.”
I'm really sorry to hear about that Soul, please take as much time as you need.

I'm gonna attempt to post. Should I have Cedric talk with Irin during Magic training?
