Marc — Roleplayer Guild

Well, here is my other character. Please be warned that I am an obsessive shipper and your characters are probably already in headcanon relationships with all of mine at the moment. Sorry I don't make the rules.

Name - Victoria, the Silencer
Age - 27
Appearance

Magic - Victoria uses Silent Magic, which allows her to prevent her enemies from casting spells if certain conditions are met.

Curse of the Silent - Victoria curses an area, poisoning anyone caught by the spell to lose magic power each second. The only way the curse can be removed is by having an affected enemy cast a spell.

Enrage - Victoria inflicts the enemies mind with rage, preventing them from casting spells but granting them a large boost in speed and strength for the duration of the silence. Victoria can cast this on herself as well to gain the physical bonuses.

Fatal Bonds - Victoria curses two targets, linking them together with a magical chain. Whenever one affected unit casts a spell, the other will receive immense pain equal to the amount of Magic Power used in the spell.

Cutthroat - Victoria places a curse upon her desired target. If the target speaks or casts a spell they will be inflicted with an intense pain around their neck. However, if the target doesn't cast a spell or speaks before the curse wears off, when the curse dissipates they will be silenced for a moderate duration as well as become immobilized where they stand.

Shallow Grave - Victoria's ultimate curse, one she inflicts upon herself in desperate times. Shallow Grave completely silences Victoria, preventing her from casting any spells or speaking at all for its duration. However, in trade for this she will become completely immune to all magical attacks for the duration; allowing her to body block magical spells without worry.

Weapons - Victoria carries around a set of 6 Throwing Knives with her at all times; two latched to the back of her belt, two concealed in her boots and the last two latched onto both of her forearms. Her Twin Blades are always sheathed at her sides and are inscribed with magical runes. These Runes allow her to pulse her magic power through the metal, strengthening her swipes with the weapons. Attached to her belt is a small pouch of smoke bombs.

Personality - Growing up working for a Dark Guild, Victoria comes off as very cold and harsh to most people. She wasn't always that way, but growing up in an environment filled with mysterious assassins, black markets and thieves she quickly learnt that trust and faith in others shouldn't be given blindly. Once she does open up, she can be quite a loyal and protective friend to have. She does have quite the temper on her, and those who know how to push her buttons usually take this to their advantage to get her riled up over trivial affairs. She has no tolerance for weakness, but rather than be cruel to those desiring strength she insists on helping them achieve their goal in any way she can.

History - When Victoria's town was run down by a powerful Dark Guild, the citizens had two choices; live as a dark magician or die as a rebel. Victoria's parents, fearing for the safety of their daughter, took up the dark arts and soon it was all Victoria came to know. Despite their affiliation, the presence of young Victoria did bring out a softer side in a lot of the Dark Magicians. They taught her how to read, write, steal, sneak and fight from a young age. Her training to become an assassin felt as natural to her as learning her times tables in school. Her mentor, a man named Luca, would tell her bed time stories after a long day of training. One tale she was particularly fond of was the tale of The Silencer; a magician who used his magic to stop other magicians from casting their spells. He caused a rather large havoc for the Magic Council and was eventually put down; but not before the Dark Guild he worked for could hide the secrets of his magic away. Determined to find the forbidden magic, Victoria learnt the ways of the assassin in many long years, and when she was 18 she set out to find the ruins of the Dark Guild which held the secrets to the Silent Magic. Upon arriving to the ruins, she found a monk, a peaceful nomad, meditating atop of the ruins. Drawing her weapons out, she demanded that he told her of the forbidden magics location. Smiling, the monk invited her down for a cup of tea. When she relaxed herself, the monk told her the secrets of Silent Magic. The Silencer was no wielder of its true power. He had used the power of the silent to destroy, when in essence the power of silence was meant to show peace. That was where the true power of the magic came from, it's ability to halt wars and create bonds. He told her silence was a powerful thing, and that Victoria would need to learn to appreciate silence in this world that never stopped talking before she could learn to control the ancient magic. She spent years with that monk, meditating and listening to the world around her. He became her closest friend, and yet she never learnt his name. One day she woke up and he had passed on, his old body finally giving in. After giving him a proper burial, she vowed that in his name she would never use her blades to kill; even despite her training as an assassin. She swore that she would use the magic she had been given for its true purpose; to end all conflict and allow others to appreciate the world around them. It was with that determination that she boldly travelled to Magnolia, stormed into the Fairy Tail guild and proclaimed; "I am the Silencer!". While she was met with uneasiness and rage by most, she was admitted into the guild where she continues to uphold her mission to never kill, and to only bring peace through silence.

Crush - A bit of a romantic, she crushes on many people. But true to her title, her lips are sealed.
