Vladimir watched as the clouds gently rolled across the clear skies, disappearing beyond the horizon of the newly established Guild Hall for Azure Drake. The building was nothing special and he had seen many taverns in his travels that would have easily trumped this one. The guild hall was a team effort, for the most part, so any criticisms against it were overshadowed by the immense sensation of accomplishment the entire guild was probably feeling right now. Even Vladimir couldn't help but feel proud of the two or three floorboards he'd helped nail down. With the sun beating down on him, he made his way to the entrance dressed in his simple black tunic and trousers. His glaives were fastened tightly to his waist. His clothes were really loose on him, and he had to wrap his belt twice around his slim waist and thighs. His tunic flapped wildly in the breeze, dangling from his collar. He looked ridiculous, but the only clothes he could find in his size were all designed for women. He'd always been very self conscious about his very feminine build, and he was worried that the other guild members would ridicule him. Of coarse they wouldn't, and if they did it wouldn't be out of spite. They weren't children, well most of them, they would show him just as much respect as any other wizard would. He knew all this, yet that didn't stop him from trembling as he reached out to grasp the door handle in his soft, gentle hand.

Pushing the door open with a hard nudge, Vladimir quietly entered the guild hall before being blown away by the amount of activity going on. Everyone was already treating the new place like home. Friends drunk together, teams discussed jobs and younger, more eager wizards sparred each other in a large open space away from the rest of the tables. The request board was crowded with a few people, and Vladimir decided it would be best to check it some other time. The place was practically a standard tavern with no real flair, but to these guys it was home. He could get used to living in such a comforting place. Vladimir walked up to the bar where Beatrix was talking to Kaldis.
"Well, the place really looks nice." He was being generous with that statement, but mostly because the new hall just felt like home to him, and in truth it was nice to feel that way again. Orin appeared next to Kaldis, asking him to join him on some type of request.
"Oh, you are going on a job already? May I ask which one?" He turned his head around to look up at Orin, but the large man was too intimidating for him to keep eye contact. He didn't know much about the people in the guild, but he was sure they were friendly. Despite that, he still found it hard to keep a conversation with any of them. He just needed a little more time to adjust.
ye you can use Margaret as much as you want. It'd be a shame to just throw away her cs, but I won't be playing her.

EDIT; i'll have to poost for vlad when I get home. i was hoping to do it this morning but I just remembered I have work experience today. I was told that the school I was working at would be on strike today. Apparently they're not anymore so I gotta go in to help out.
Here's the new guy~ I'm glad you liked Margaret and her magic, but idk I just wasn't feeling it. Although I like Vlad's magic quite a bit.

geez you guys post so fast >_<

I haven't had a chance to read the ic since I had my first day of prac today. The students and the teacher are both amazing and I love it so much. But now I need to do rping stuff.

I have thought about it and decided to redo my character completely. I'm not enjoying Margaret's design as much as I thought I would. Sorry for the delay in getting started.
I mainly gave Margaret her blade of Smiting in the case she'll need to break through magical defenses say for an example, an ice make shield.
I'll have to look back over those pms when I get home... as well as characters.
I wouldn't mind coming back but I might have some trouble picking up where I left off
My guy was only partially blind. But if there comes a time in the story where his clairvoyance is desperately needed then he can always whip up that little concoction again for the greater good.
I am sorry if this character seems a little odd. I had a taijutsu guy in mind but then I remembered this idea I'd had only a few weeks ago that I really wanted to try out. I don't think it sounds too unbalanced, but I'm more worried of people being confused by what his clans jutsu actually is.

Appearance

Personality: Defined by his eccentric episodes and infamous clan, most only know Okita as yet another freak from the Hariti clan; an accusation which he boasts proudly. Okita has a high sense of self and purpose, never being ashamed of who he is or where he comes from that matter. His confidence is almost contagious and those who take the time to get to know him find his lack of boundaries and personal space to be quite comforting over a time. He always strives to be friendly to everyone, but he takes specific care of those who are self doubting of themselves, remembering a time where he wasn't so confident in himself like they are.

He is known for assuming some type of 'big brother' role for these people, keeping them close by him with the attitude that if they aren't able to love themselves, he'll love them twice as much to help them. It is very rare for people to see this side of him, since most tend to keep their distance from him due to the silly rumors surrounding his clan. He's a bit of a prankster himself, so he does everything he can to reinforce these rumors and give the more gullible genin goosebumps at the supposedly dark practices going on behind the closed doors of the Hariti Clan. He tends to make most people uncomfortable with just how easily he can talk to everyone, even when he knows they ridicule him behind their backs. He's probably the best person to make fun of, since he's so good at taking jokes and laughing off insults.

History: In the history of the Hariti clan, only females were ever able to assume the position of Clan Leader, as the rare bloodline that runs throughout the clan was only ever present throughout kunoichi. With a desire to show the leaf village just how strong and capable their clan is, Junko Hariti had great plans for their first born daughter to be trained as the next aspiring leader of the clan. However, after two miscarriages it became more and more evident that her dream would never be realised. She and her husband Hatori gave it one last shot, and to their delight a perfect baby was born. However, this baby was male. His mother was exhausted. She had tried so hard to create a successor to lead the clan after the current leader stepped down, but her efforts were to no avail. Okita never even knew his mother for the first few years of his life. She refused to look at him, let alone be in the same room as him. To her, he was just a constant reminder of all her failures. Okita's father was nicer to him, but he was still disappointed in his son for causing his wife so much distress. When Okita was five years old, he held his fathers hand after he and his wife had just been through a rough argument. He told his father that they should stop fighting and remember the time the two of them first kissed under the cherry blossoms. His father nodded, agreeing with his son. However, something was off. How could Okita had known such a thing? Sudden realisation washed over him, and he gasped in shock. For the first time in the Hariti Clan's history, a male member had been born with the families rare bloodline; Clairvoyance.

With the announcement of Okita's Kekkei Genkai, Okita was suddenly a potential candidate for being the next leader of the Hariti clan. His mother suddenly started talking to him more, but it was never kind or warm words. She spoke only of the future of the clan, and the responsibilities he would undertake as the next leader. She promised that when she was through with him, he would be the greatest leader the clan had ever seen and then the leaf village would recognise the Hariti as one of the great clans of the village. Okita was happy that his mother was talking to him, but every time he touched her he only felt selfish desires. She wanted him to be great so she could revel in the fame that would come with him being the leader of the clan. He could tell that she herself had wanted to be the leader more than anything, but she did not possess the bloodline and was therefore unable to lead the clan.

Okita learnt a lot under his mothers. The practices of the Hariti Clan were slow, yet powerful, and Okita was not able to eat dinner until he had completed the tasks his mother had set for him each day. He went hungry most days, not being skilled enough to pull off such complicated tasks. His clairvoyance was only new and he didn't know how to focus it. He pleaded with his mother to make the tests easier for him, but she had another solution. Chie Hariti, the third leader of the clan, had helped the leaf village obtain victory over one of the other nations in the great Shinobi war during a rather large battle with her bloodline ability. However in order to gain the power she had, she had to make a daring sacrifice. She had prepared a special concoction which would burn her eyes out, losing her ability to see in the real world; but vastly increasing the power of her 'second sight' as she called it. With the intention to help Okita's powers grow, Junko had prepared this very same potion and poured it over Okita's eyes while he was sleeping.

He remembers the excruciating pain he felt that night to this day. Such an act of betrayal on his mothers part had deeply scarred him, and he was too frightened to continue his training after the ordeal. His father left his mother after the incident, claiming her to be a madwoman. He had wanted to take Okita with him, but he knew that when a child of the Hariti clan is born into the sight, they are the property of the clan. Any attempts to remove him from the clan would be considered an act of treason and he would be killed where he stood. He never saw his father again after that. Trapped inside a house with his mother, he was forced to continue his training. Even despite the shock of losing his vision, he found that his powers as a clairvoyant had increased dramatically. To the point where he didn't even need his sight eventually, he was able to pick up his surroundings by using his sight through the breeze around him, through the ground beneath him. He always saw through the eyes of others, and while it was nice being able to see in his own way; he started to realise the pain that came with touching the aura of those around him. All their thoughts, their pain and their memories swarming into him constantly, he was sure that they would kill him. His mother had told him that he just needed to control it, to limit what he could feel.

By the time he had entered the academy, he had learnt to control the overwhelming senses and emotions that flowed through him; limiting himself to just using his bloodline to help him see the world around him. This was very taxing on his body and so he spent a lot of time in class napping. People ridiculed him a lot because of the clan he belonged to, saying awful things like the Hariti don't deserve to be called shinobi. He hated everyone for the longest of time, but it was never really them he hated. He knew that the root of all his problems came from his mother. Seeking help from the elders of his clan, he asked for them to help restore his eyesight. They questioned his decision. He knew that restoring his sight would hinder his clairvoyance, but he didn't care. He never chose to be blinded and he never chose to be born with this bloodline. After a long discussion amongst themselves, the elders agreed it was for the best.

Restoring his eyesight took nearly half a day, but when they were done his vision was near perfect. He could see beautiful colors once more and appreciate the world through his own eyes. With the sudden realisation that he never wanted to become the leader of the clan, he confronted his mother and told her that he was moving into his own apartment in the Hariti district and that his training was to stop immediately. She begged him to stay, claiming that she loved him and only wanted what was best for the clan; but he was no simpleton. Her blinding him was the best thing she had ever done, because he was only able to see the truth once he was blind. Once he left her, life started to look up for him. His confidence grew and he became more and more proud of himself. He was a member of the Hariti Clan who possessed the second sight, and there was nothing wrong with that. He wasn't wildly accepted by his peers still, but he was starting to grow on them by the time he graduated the academy and became a Genin. Despite his newly found freedom, he can't escape the idea that perhaps one day he will have to take on the responsibilities as leader of the clan and fall right back into his mothers hands.

Kekkei Genkai:

Name of Kekkei Genkai: Clairvoyance
Clan: Hariti Ichizoku
Description: A spiritual awareness to the world around the user. Those who are born to the Hariti clan with the rare ability of clairvoyance are able to see the world through different views such as another person or through an object. The user is able to use this second sight to determine whether or not a person is lying, as well as trace back where a person has been, what they have said or what they have done. The same can be done with much more accuracy to specific objects. The power of a clairvoyant is based on how well they know the person they are scanning. Okita was able to see back many years into his fathers past because he had a stronger relationship with him, where with his mother he was only ever able to pick up specific intentions. While it is not a known ability of the bloodline, most clairvoyants tend to have very accurate hunches; especially when concerning their own safety.

Hiden Jutsu

Name of Hiden - Majutsu (Witchcraft)
Clan - Hariti Ichizoku
Description - Majutsu is rare practice that was once used in many countries across the continent, but is now limited to the land of fire. Not your standard form of Sealing Jutsu, Majutsu involves the practice of gathering specific materials such as flowers, leaves, oils, sands and in some cases animal or human blood to supercharge certain sealing techniques for various effects. While it is often frowned upon for being a taboo form of sealing jutsu, it is of no mistake that the uses of Majutsu are limitless. While Majutsu is considered a form of sealing jutsu, it is capable of so much more than just seals. Each insignia represents a specific trait of the seal, granting specific bonuses depending on if the right requirements are met. Many people of the leaf village refer to this as 'voodoo', since it has been known to be used for hexes and curses. While users of Majutsu are at a disadvantage in actual combat, since their jutsu cannot be used on the spot without proper preparation, they make up for this with the ability to disable enemies and aid allies from a great distance provided they have the right materials.
