Current Just because you can have 36 attacks per turn that threaten a crit on a roll of 14+ doesn't mean it's worth doing.

Isn't it weird how you can start a private conversation with yourself?

Name: Radek
Age: 32
Race: Trajak
Homeland: Cotrelini
Appearance: At first glance Radek seems like an average height man with quite pale skin and wide shoulders. His face is very effeminate and if it wasn't for the bone protrusions that cover the left side of it he'd be considered quite beautiful. The left side of his face is indeed covered by what seems like a mask of bone - it has roughly elongated canine like features and a slightly curving horn extends out over the eye. Black hair lines his face - extending well past his shoulders when kept unbound and usually covers the left side of his face which however looks rather weird since the horn still pokes out from the midst of the hair.

For most part Radek's upper body and the garments covering it seem quite normal - a white fencing shirt, a black vest and the tattered overcoat that judging by the emblems belonged once to a captain or some other similarly ranked individual. Over the coat is hung a gray wool cloak - it's noticeably larger on the right side and has several odd straps on it to keep it covering it's wearers right half. Under the cloak are what should be a right arm - instead in Radek's case there are 5 tentacles with serrated blades on their tips. The tentacles are slightly wider than an average mans arm and can extend their length to atleast 10 feet.

Covering his lower body Radek usually wears a simple pair of gray pants and a pair of black leather boots. Around his waist he has a wide leather belt from which hangs a sword - on the left hip.

Equipment: A finely crafted sword with a falcon's head pommel, a small pouch with barely enough money for food, a military issue rucksack with some rations, fresh clothes and another cloak.

Bio: Radek does not remember much from his early life - for instance his birthplace is a mystery to him, but he's guessing it could well be Cotrelini since he likes the cold and such. His parents were in the military, or so he'd heard - to Radek that isn't such a big thing. Heck he himself was in the military too! In a technical sense at the least. He was to be a 'tactical aide and bodyguard' to the local commanding officer, an assignment that actually went better than all participating in it would have expected. Though Radek was kept under very close watch at all times - a young kid with sharp objects instead of an arm and a really sharp mind is not to be trusted, or so they said - He was able to gain some very minor freedoms and his status as both an aide and a bodyguard to the commanding officers slowly gained him at least a few friends here and there. Some time ago Radek was discharged from duty - to his surprise it didn't mean that he would be executed at dawn, no. He was given a sword and some money - perhaps enough to get a small house somewhere and settle down. With a few salutes he was sent away.

Just a week ago Radek finally found his way to Tarnoa with most of his money spent on the trip - you wouldn't guess just how much these people will demand from a Trajak for passage... So, there would be no settling down for him, maybe there would be some other kind of work for a man with military experience, be he a Trajak or not?

Well I have a bit of a fever TTwTT
Gurthang shrugged his shoulders and again glanced to the side very slightly "Gurthang fails to understand the... very well, if that is your wish." He turned his attention to Jacob and smiled faintly "I am a shaman - or a cleric, whichever term suits you better." The old orc calmly chewed on a piece of meat and grinned "I understood from the others that you are a messenger of sorts and that you were carrying either something valuable or in other ways important." The odd marking over the orc's eye gleamed very slightly and a bewildered expression replaced the grin. "Are you certain?" He glanced a bit to the side again and nodded - as if accepting orders.

He rose to a kneeling position and rolled his remaining eye "Those who have granted me a long life and a strong body wish me to heal you of the effects of orcish hospitality." Gurthang actually chuckled at the little jab directed towards his own kin as he wrapped a part of his cloak around his right arm. "If you are willing to accept healing and a blessing form the orcish gods that is." He glanced to the side a bit before sighing and smiling apologetically at the human "Gurthang apologises - the gods refuse the blessing, but the offer to heal still stands."

Cadogan had been more busy than what he had been in ages - well... at the least he had been more busy now than during the whole time that he had spent with the group thus far. He had spent a good while purchasing resources and probably accumulated a debt that could be called a king's ransom while doing so. Despite the lack of sleep the Great Inventor hadn't managed to blow anything up, or lose any fingers or other assorted appendages. He yawned and once again made sure his creation would be ready for the coming competition. A small smile crept to the white haired man's lips as he made some final adjustments and other such to all the little things he had built, then he turned his attention to the new war walker that was meant to be the actual competition entry.

Silently he admitted to himself that the war walker was a quite fearsome sight - as an afterthought he added that some help would be needed to get it actually running, since as the Great Inventor reminded himself with some minor amount of bitterness humans had no magical abilities which made it impossible for him to activate the command runes he had carved painstakingly to the metal plates that covered the clockwork mechanisms.

It would still be a good while until the start of the actual competition so Cadogan felt it might be a good time to get some fresh air and other necessities. He was humming a catchy tune as he made his way out from the small workshop he had managed to rent for his use - it wasn't quite what he had been used to back in Dumont, but for his current needs it had been enough. The Great Inventor stared to the distance for a good while and wondered what the others were doing at the moment.
Gurthang seemed to ponder the human's words for a good while as he paced back and forth around the tent. After what seemed like an eternity the orc finally spoke. "If I indeed do as you ask, cut your bonds and give you a blade... - what does stop you from sending old Gurthang to meet his ancestors?" The one eyed orc tilted his head very slightly to the left and smirked. "I'm assuming you have no fondness to my kind after this little... shall we call it a misshap, perhaps?" As he continued pacing around the orc pulled the cloak of his back to reveal that he was not wearing armour so if need be killing him would probably be a bit more of an easy task.

The old orc was again silent for a good while before he walked up to Jacob and cut the bindings from his hands with a well calculated strike - obviously this old one eye's depth perception was still working quite well since Jacob was not missing any limbs which might have been a bit of an inconvenience at this point. Gurthang smiled wryly and spat on the ground. "I'd be glad if you could answer a few questions before I let you leave." The tall creature said as he casually searched around the tent to locate something edible - preferably something that hadn't been already chewed upon and what hadn't already been eaten once.

He let out an annoyed growl before glancing at Jacob. "Now, wait here, human. I will not be away for long." Gurthang rolled his eye and dissapeared outside. After a while he came back - carrying something quite large. The orc threw whatever he was carrying to the ground and lifted the knife slightly. The thing turned out to be lamb - a bit raw still, but slightly raw meat was still better than nothing. "A wise man once told me that even an orc shouldn't eat the cookings of another orc, but I have to give some credit to this band of ruffians I'm saddled with - they cook damnably fine lamb with the given resources." The old orc smirked as he began hacking away at the meat while occasionally glancing at Jacob. "Come, eat." Gurthang motioned towards the chopped meat.

*GASP* Nuuuuhhh! THE COMPETITION! *panic* WHere did he put his pants? Wait... he has been wearing pants, right? I'm sure Cadogan likes wearing pants and that it would be slightly frowned upon if he'd show up without wearing pants !! *deeep breath* Ok ok... I need to calm down ^w^
