Sleep was invented by the communists to reduce the time we spend active.

That awkward moment when you glimpse a dog stylist advertisement and before you realize what it is, you assume it's an ad to raise awareness about animal cruelty.

A friend introduced me to a site called nanowrimo.org Technically a novel-writing site but they seem to have useful stuff for writing in general in the forums.

They're just a little paranoid.
King Fabricus,
I'm rather interested to hear what you have to say. As for any bounty hunters, I was planning to give them to Archy. Rest assured, the bounty I placed has been called off as well.

And so the various nobles of Nastrond dressed in their finest, but underneath wore armor of Stygian Iron and swords of the same. They did not plot treachery but would be prepared if it showed its face.
Nieldun & co. are coming but they will be armed to the teeth and ready to take hostages.
King Fabrics,
While I'm not sure I can endorse patricide, even under the circumstances, I will gladly make peace without demands. I accept your invitation to the feast, please don't be offended that I'm bringing my bodyguards and poison testers.
King Nieldun Gildedtongue

Nieldun breathed a sigh of relief. That was not a path he had enjoyed stepping onto. He notified hi s children and the nobles... Also the Guardian Devils. If worst came to worst, Archy would be called upon and he and the others could fight until in a secure location at which point the army (who were withdrawing from Ceia and the land) would march into the kingdom and either rescue or avenge them.
OK good. The son thing caught me by surprise. You don't go halfway. :)
Dear Lord Bornetall,
Enclosed are the orders for the city. They will be given a chance as it is not their fault a rabid dog rules them. Best of luck and may your sword hand never fail you.
Respectfully, King Nieldun

King Vermiculus,
I started this war for the cannons. I will fight it to put down the rabid dog you have become. Your letters and threats are obscene and you posture and threaten other nations when you are at war without allies with two. It will be a wonder if your people do not do my job for me. Goodbye.
King Nieldun Gildedtongue
The Shadows only kill. They don't do mercy, it was actually the Demons who enslaved. Are we cool OOC? I'm just thinking like Nieldun would when I give the orders I do.
King Vermiculus,
You have crossed a line that you really should not have. Never threaten my family. Apologize and end the bounty or your kingdom burns. If a single hair on their heads is harmed I shall forget what honor code I have and your people will pay dearly. My men enjoy carving smiles into the faces of fallen foes to terrify those still living, I wonder what they would do if ordered to be cruel to civilians.... By the way, remember those missing civilians? I kidnapped them and placed them in the care of Queen Marianna. As for the "three mistakes" I will address each one. For the first I would remind you that other than the Stygian Iron and some equipment, my trade is non-existent so this is how I trade, my exports are death and victory. For the second, I sent a letter to all conflicting nations, Wolastra replied, you did not. For the third, it is not that you are weak it is that I am strong. You have one week to take back the contract or I make an example of Ceia that will dwarf the infamous Slaughter. Also, I have no favorite. Ruin upon your home and may your sword hand wither.
-King Nieldun Gildedtongue

King Nieldun sent the letter and a cold fury and ordered that his children have the most protection possible. Before, it had been business but now that his family was threatened, it was personal and to the Twelve Hells with honor and treating non-combatants kindly! Besides, now that he had profited so much from the Stygian Iron sales, two could play at Vermiculus's game.
Wanted,
The heads of any relative of King Vermiculus of Tar Sequinus.
Reward, 125,000 gold pieces per death.

Not wanted,
The heads of any Nastrondi royalty.
"Reward", a slow and painful death and the destruction of all you hold dear.
King Vermiculus,
On second thought, I'll name them but not betray them. Queen Marianna paid me 300,000g along with rifles and cannons. You would have reached the knowledge anyway, who else has a grudge against you?
-King Nieldun Gildedtongue
King Vermiculus,
Exposing their identity would go against my business practices, however I'll give you one hint: they have sealed the deal with cannons and small cannons not gold. As such, I do not think you can match the offer.
