"Well, you kept going on about how it was evil and tried to kill you. I put it on and looked at it in the mirror. It looked really good so I put it under my sleep wear and went to bed. When I awoke, I had these marks on my neck. Its very tender, they looked to be bruises in the shape of hands. I took the damn thing off and hid it in the room. I believe you about it being bad. I'm sorry. Is it going to kill me now?" Her face turned from shame to fear.
@Markofkri I will accept it, if you promise to keep active like the others.

I respect this statement. I respectfully withdraw.
"Sure."
Sorry RL = real life has caused me to leave abruptly.
"Ugh." Another city, the sight of the damage and death made her don the armor until now rode in the back of the cart. Deila ready for danger became more alert. The smoke choked her. The shaman sent Bulbo out of dangers way. The surrounding was mostly stone so she brought those spells to the front of her mind. This was going to get dangerous. Grandmother had nothing good to say about towns and cities. They were death traps, death always followed where a town grew.

Deila could see the horses were moving there ears and on alert as well. The shaman could feel the panic in the air, but refused to give in. The only reason Deila didn't jump out of the cart was Sana. There was a lot of survival skills she felt the shaman could still learn. The shaman at first wanted to leave. She wanted to be safe and back in the safety of an old lush forest. No. This is the diversity, the challenge would make her stronger. Being able to thrive in a harsh environment would help her able to endure. This was a shamans true strength. Any one can live in an environment they were born into. Going to unfamiliar terrain and thriving, this was what made a shaman. If she survived this day, Deila swore to thank the five spirits.
"Hey sleepy. Hope you slept well. I was called by my family but I suddenly had phone trouble and hung up. The guys are on alert since your out. I suggest we ignore them. What would you like for lunch or any food I can let the cook know. You seem to be doing a lot better. Its good to see you out and smiling." Vivian had her head propped in her hands and her elbows on the table. She was wearing a baggy sweat outfit. As you looked closer she had blood shot eyes and there was concealer around her neck.
The day was better then it had been in a while and the night was even better the bed was so comfortable and was the cherry on the ice cream sundae which you ate with a spoon along with a dinner you could chew.

The drugs were leaving your system. You could feel yourself getting a little sick but nothing terrible. You fell asleep for the first time on your own.

You awoke as the sun was obscured by storm clouds to the sound of thunder. Vivian knocked on the door inviting you to breakfast. She mentioned something about omelets. You could hear her walk off to the dinning room. The bed complete relaxed you. It was comfort incarnate.
"Sure you can leave. The lack of walking since the hospital will do that. I brought some crutches to help out." Vivian opened the door. You could smell the wood furniture and the dusty hall carpet. "I can show you the room that will remain unlocked for your personal use. The kitchen will be off limits and a deal breaker as the guard leader said. Other then that the whole mansion is yours. The TV in the lounge is the only electronic allowed for now. I had them add every package for your release day. Its like 300$ a month but I figured you would need it to stay mellow."

"Now for the major deal breakers in addition to the kitchen." Vivian talked while you got out of the safe room. "Getting caught outside, trying to hurt yourself, setting a fire, or destroying property. Other then that, you can do what you want. Where are we going today?" She smiled at you.
The dinner was mashed potatoes and creamed corn. The main course was beef wellington sliced into very small chunks to the point it was obvious you could use a straw to eat this whole meal. The cook did a very good job hiding the medication both in detection and in taste. The room was emptied of old clothes the dinner tray and everything but the pillow. It didn't take long for the drugs to take effect. You awoke the next day to breakfast already in the corner and a some bottled orange juice with a spoon on the side for the food. your legs didn't feel as heavy and as you moved the vertigo was gone. Vivian noticed you moving. "Yea I bribed the cook to drop some of the drugs they put in your food. The only thing in the eggs this time is a little pepper. I talked to the guard and he said that the system and extra guards makes this place the most secure place it was his privilege to guard." She said the last part trying to deepen her voice. She was smiling.

"Well I got to go and give my first week report. I'll have you free of this room no later then breakfast Monday. Most of the doors will be locked and the guards will be the only ones with the keys. I'm sure that wont matter compared to being locked in here. They let me set up a room with your clothes and some books. They said no tech or phone, and no chemicals. So they replaced your soaps with baby shampoo. Oh Mondays today! Surprise!!"
