Lee had been slouching slightly in his chair but he sits up proper when Vlad walked into the dinning. He did not sit up for the old mad scientist but for the pretty thing that was accompanying him. She was definitely a sight for sore eyes. While Vlad made his grand announcement that that they survived to phase 2 of the experiment and then warned against escape, Lee's eyes were on the beauty who attempted the escape.

Lee silenced his internal dialog about what kind of person he imagined she was and focused on the ring leader of this crazy circus, Professor Vlad. Lee looked around at his 'peers', for lack of a better word, trying to read their reaction. Then Lee stood up and addressed Vlad, "Professor, what kind of training will you be putting us through? It should be no surprise to anyone that you would be against leaving without permission. The crimes I alone would be capable of doing now with this power vastly surpasses what I did to get here. But I wager, if I got out the problems I would cause would be directly blamed on you. You are the one playing god here, right Professor?"
I am so happy to see that interest in this idea is picking up. I have so many ideas spawned from this concept. I do not know if I want to play honor or loyalty or something else.
So I have a question about the powers we have chosen. Do we already possess them at the start or have we yet to go through the trials of the experiment to gain the powers?
Lee sat at his desk in the room he was assigned. All around him everything was in its place. The room did not have much in it as he did not really have much belongings. None the less, the room was clean and maintained so well it looked like no one had yet to move in. As he sat at his desk, he was building a house of cards. Slowly and efficiently, he had made the house up to the fifth story. The structure was fragile and it was truly a feat to get it to support its own weight. He was close to completing the fifth floor when a knock on the door sent the structure crashing to the ground.

Lee looked at the collapsed house of cards and shook his head like he was disappointed. Then without picking up his mess he went to answer the door. As he already knew, the guards were waiting for him. There were five guards waiting to take him where he needed to go. The leader of the group spoke, "Sir, your presence is requested in the dinning facility. Please come without incident."

Lee stepped out of his room immediately without going to get his shoes and politely motioned the guard to lead the way. He spoke calmly was he began to walk down the hall bare foot, "When have I ever been an trouble for you. Well, when I am not provoked." The guard did not reply. Lee and the guards did not speak again and they kept their silence until they got to the dining hall.

Even while standing barefoot in the middle of the dining hall, Lee scans over his peers in this experiment and makes judgments. He doubted that his first assessment of them would be an accurate one but he also expected them to disappoint him by being less that he imagined. He took a seat in a chair near one of the walls and began to wait for something interesting to happen.
This concept of yours is very interesting to me. It sounds like you have the potential for a wide range of settings for the roleplay. One moment you could be in the middle ages, then maybe a future setting, then the next could be the wild west. It could make the characters truly timeless as they would be the same in whatever time they take physical form to combat evil. Your concept also seems to ask what makes you you. The eternal souls of the good ones knowingly leave behind their memories of the past battles because they believe it would be a negative, but why is that negative? That is a question that could be asked by one of the pure souls. Your idea here has filled my head with ideas now. That is great.

By the way I will definitely join.
I said it was freezing because I wanted to allow some snow to exist on the ground. I was thinking that I didn't want sunny day plus hail to make rain. I am fine with it still being warmer to be able to power fire moves.
Sorry that was mid - work post to ensure I did not lose what I had already created and to see if the picture worked. I have completed it now. What do you think?
Name: Lee Ares Norris

Age: 17

Gender: Male

Apperance:

Personality: Lee is a strong, orderly, and disciplined person. He has to have everything in its place and things need to be done a certain way. He does have mindset that says everyone is inferior to him. He also has anger issues, he tries hard to control. If something does not go to his perfect plan he will loose self control.

Ability: Flame manipulation

Bio: Lee was born and from that day he was alway unwanted. His biological mother abandoned him at the hospital that he was born. Since that time he has been under the protection of the state. He was moved from foster family to foster family for the early years of his life. He never stayed with one family for any longer than one year. When he was 14, he ran away from the foster family that he currently was placed with and took the the streets. He stole in order to eat and slept under bridges to stay out of the rain. Eventually, he got caught shoplifting and instead of going to jail, he was offered a chance to be apart of an experiment. He should have taken jail time.
Hahaha I just did what you did. Sorry for taking so long. My post is up.

I agree that the conditions should mix rather than replace. It frees up a pokemon to do something other than hail and sunny day turn after turn. I kinda described what I think the mix should be. The hail is not harmful to pokemon. It is just soft snow. The temperature does drop to allow the snow to stay. The sun light is diminished so it does not give as much of a bonus. All abilities triggered by hail or sunny day still activate. What do you say?
Sophia shielded her eyes as sunny day brightened the arena. She hated bright lights and this was just as bad as the stadium lights at night. She should have worn some sum glasses but that would hurt the image she was trying to put forward to the fans. She was not the stereotypical ghost pokemon trainer. She could handle the lights it just too longer to adjust to more lights than less lights.

Sophia noticed right away what Masquerain was doing. She had seem it thousand of times. It was unexpected from the opponent but it was a ghost type move. Quickly she barked the commands, "Virgo, protect Phobia! Phobia, Dim the lights. Make it hail."

Sophia's pokemon immediately let into action. Glaceon leaped over to Froslass and took a defensive stance. Glaceon was so close to Froslass they were almost touching. Then Glaceon throw up his protective barrier to try the shield Froslass from the Ominous wind. The barrier was by no means large enough to cover them both but it made it so Froslass too less of a hit from Masquerain's attack. Froslass, with a pained look on its face, began to dance and twirl. High in the up near the ceiling of the stadium, dark clouds began to form. Down from them fell the hail Froslass summoned. However, as the hail hit the warm light of Sunny day, they melted into soft snowflakes.

Sophia extended her hand to catch the first of the snowflakes. Internally she was surprised to see how sunny day and hail seemed to mix to form soft snow. Externally, Sophia showed no emotion like this was exactly what she wanted. It definitely would not hurt her opponent's pokemon but it would be enough to allow Glaceon a much needed speed boost. The sunny day was dimmed slightly by the presence of the clouds and the temperature dropped to freezing.

Sophia did not need to tell he pokemon what to do next. They knew each other too well. Glaceon shivered adorably head to toe the leaped through the snow into the space between Shiftry and Masquerain. It did a playfully rolled in the newly fallen snow with beauty and grace one would expect of a prize winning contest pokemon which it was. It was not hard to read the plan. Sophia ordered Glaceon to protect Froslass so Glaceon's actions were clearly meant to pull the attention of everyone to himself.
