Rose politely smiled and shook the hand of the paladin, Carver. "It is always a pleasure to meet a man of the cloth and defender of the faith." She then answered the man introduced as Separ inquiry, "I can cook up any game animal. I am good at stews and roasted meats. Of course, I think I could make any dish at request given the right ingredients." She considered elaboration more but she was cut off by the approach of a cloaked woman. Alula spoke cryptically and Rose was unsure if she was even the one the woman was speaking to, if she was speaking to anyone at all. One life cut down for another. Well yes that is the way of the world. A wildfire is a healthy thing for even the most ancient forests. As a mage, Rose understood the role of destruction and reconstruction very well. It was fundamental to the magic arts on many levels, but did this woman intend to imply more.

Rose took a step away from the woman, Alula cautiously. Changing the subject she addressed the man who was going for bread. If she was going to cook, this seemed like something she should be involved in, "Sir, I would like to accompany you to find bread."
I am interested in this.
I am very interested in this one. It obviously needs some lore and world building. I would love to help with that. I like the idea of a mountanous north. It gives way to a force primarily using wyvern or pegusus forces. Also, maybe generals. A tropical south could lend well to mages of all kinds and archers. As for the middle lands, they could be vast flat plains where a horse mounted people are caught in the middle of the fued between the two families. Just initial thoughts. Well, Thoughts?
I finally posted. I am finally officially back in the rp.
Rose had paid the barkeeper a nice sum of coin for her cooking set. She had not needed it but she really had not reason not to by it. She had no need for the wealth that came from her wanderer adventurer occupation. Also, She was travelling alone. She had no one other than herself to cook for. She had been alone for a while and even if she wanted. She had entered the tavern with the hopes of spending the night and maybe get some work. She had been upstairs in a room she had rented for the night preparing her things for tomorrow when a commotion occurred downstairs. She walked downstairs armed and ready to defend herself. When she got downstairs it looked like she missed everything. A little annoyed she did not get any action, she wandered outside. Outside she overheard a group talk about getting together for an andventure. Rose wasted no time taking up the opportunity.

Rose walks up to the group of adventurers and loudly introduces herself, "Greetings, everyone. I am Rose Anew. Also known simply as Phoenix. I could not help but overhear that all y'all are going on a journey together. I would humbly like to join your group. I am an exceptional front line fighter. Sword and magic are my specialty. I am also a good cook. That should be a plus." Rose was worried she appeared to formal but she did not want to let it show. It would make her look nervous and insecure.

Victoria Ultimara, The Black Angel

On the plane Ravinca:

Victoria kicked a piece of rubble out off her way as she walked through a ruined remains of a once thriving city block. Her kick revealed a small detached hand that was still clutching a child's doll. The sight brought Victoria to pause. This was the level of destruction that she opposed. There was no reason given for this atrocity, there was not warning given to those who were destroyed, they were not even given a chance or hope to defend themselves. Not often did the immortal council of the Orzhov get moved to action, but this vast devastation, desolation, made them act. Those undead moneylovers had hired Victoria by name to find the monster responsible for this. One might say they only care because this entire district represented a large monetary investment, but ultimately if this could be prevented from happening again it would be for the best for everyone. Victoria sniffed back tears as she continued to walk through the ruins looking for clues.

Out of one of the remaining side alleys, three soldiers bearing the sigil of the Boros emerged. Immediately they took up arms and the leader of the three questions Victoria, "Hey you there, Identify yourself. The Azurious senate has declared this area under quarantine until further notice."

Victoria pulled herself togather the instant she realized she was not alone. Raising her emotional mask again as a shield, she laughed, "You poor little soldier. Why do you not go on your little way. You are nothing more than a pawn." Victoria raises her hand out in front of her. She held her hand in position ready to snap her fingers and said, "Why don't you be a good pawn and run along? Sacrifice and contribution are not the same thing. I would gladly teach you the difference if you try me."

There was the sound of large wings behind Victoria. A voice called out to her, "Cast that spell and it will be your last..." Victoria quickly turned and looked up. She covered her eyes as the figure was silhouetted against the sun as it stood on the rooftop. A drake made out of mist stood beside it. Victoria immediately knew who she was up against. His name slipped from her lips, "Jace... Beleren..."

Back on our beloved plane of Paki:

Victoria landed on feet. She immediately fell to her knee as she oriented herself to her surroundings. She looked around at the scorched land. This was definitely the right place. The battle she had with the others against the rats and goblins definitely happened here. The ground looked like it was starting to recover and there was not a soul in sight. This pleased Victoria. Planeswalking was not an exact science. If one was not familiar with a place one could planeswalk and land on the opposite end of the plane from the intended location. Victoria stood and thought for a moment. She pulled out a device that looked like the illegitimate child of a pocket watch and compass. She opened it. Now the group she was with was wildly diverse. She noticed that there had been a variety of mana used in the last fight however only one besides her was smart enough to delve into black magic. She looked at her device and set it to detect black mana. It pointed strongly off into the jungle. With a smile She began a casual stroll through the trees.

She walked for a bit before the device lead her to a small village. Village or town? It was had to tell, the place was a bit big for a village but small for a town. So, it should be a Vilown or a Townage? Victoria smiled to herself as she thought about it. It really did not mattered. As she entered the town her device went haywire. The needle on its compass looking face spun around wildly. It told her that she would have to look for the source of the black mana herself. So, without complaint or comment, She began to wander through the town looking for Mot or any of the other planeswalkers.

Attention everyone,

I will be absent for the next few days. Busy, busy me. I will not likely get back to a computer until Friday sometime. For the sake of the story, My character has planeswalked away to deal with other issues. She will return when she has completed her task. Which will probably be the same time that I return go figure. Obligations. Until then, godspeed to you all.
