Aeria looked around and didn't avert her gaze when Leon came up to her. "Hmm.. I think it's strange how it's too quiet." She said to no one in particular. She looked behind her for a moment to check if Tollank had already caught up to them before taking a few steps forward as she looked at the empty streets. "The chef and waiters in the bar were mutants." She said suddenly. "Every mutant has a unique smell to them. Mine's Vanilla and yours is.." A smile crept on her lips and she looked at him, her eyes holding a glint of amusement. "I think it would be funner if I didn't tell you." She laughed lightly."And no, not really. Do you have somewhere in mind?" She asked. Aeria was very bad at directions so leaving this to Leon would be better for all of them. Besides, she didn't want to be the one to suggest a place, thinking that maybe Leon already had one in mind. The streets were empty, aside from the few people around. It was starting to get dark and the moon had already shone in the sky. Aeria got a sudden chill on her spine and she moved closer to where Leon and Tollank were standing.

Leon rose an eyebrow at her statement about mutants having a certain scent to them, though mostly to her not telling him what his was. That was going to bug the crap out of him now. What the hell could his scent be? Was it something similar to the owner? Aeria was pale as pale could be and she was vanilla, of course, but if that theory was correct, what could Leon be? His hair was blonde, so maybe wheat or something? It had to be something that made sense, something the represented him. His scent clearly was sexy as fuck, whatever it was. Anything else just wouldn't make sense... right?

When asked if he had anywhere in mind, Leon shrugged. "Not really, though I could probably think of something..." his voice trailed off as he noticed her shiver and close the gap between herself and the two guys, a sudden clap grabbing his attention.

Tollank had gotten up and followed Leon outside to Aeria. He too noticed the lack of sound, it was getting rather hard to see. Tollank clapped his hands together a few times, "Sorry about the clapping," he said walking back up to the group, "its kinda hard to see out here without noises. So if the noise doesn't pick up I may have to do this every so often." Tollank clapped his hands again.

"Hey," Leon said slamming his cupped hands together to create as loud a clap as he could create, "Do whatever you gotta do. I don't mind and I'm sure Aeria doesn't either." He was about to make a comment about the three of them not being the loudest group, outside of the bar scene, when a fresh face appeared.

Rylan cleared his throat and took a deep breath to compose himself before walking over to the trio, Leon specifically. "Hey.. uh… thanks.. for the meal, you know?"

"Oh, sad bar guy, yeah. It's no problem, really. You just looked a little down and a little... Not Norwegian." Leon looked him over, taking a guess at his age before his mutation probed the red head, letting him see a comprehensive, and rather intrusive, list of information on the kid. He was their age, just a little rough around the edges. "You're not from this district are you? You come all the way over from Sabore or Ignori?" Leon questioned, digging a hand into his pocket as he checked the guy out, getting a good feel for what his mutation was. It appeared he had the pyromaniac mutation. How... interesting. Of course he was a red head too. The caricature draws itself. When their old friend, bug boy appeared, Leon inwardly sighed. Of course.

"Få tilbake hit du litte dritt!" the already familiar voice of Hjem' waiter roared, the man running after bug boy, sword like metallic blades jutting out of his wrists, his teeth like that of a sharks. It appeared that the waiter had the mutation Leon once read about known as Blade Regalia. He could extend blades from many points of his body, wrists, feet, hands, shoulders, knees, and ever his mouth. Almost like a human blender. "Uh..." Leon gasped, reaching out with his right hand at Alan. He opened his palm upwards and tightly balled his hand into a fist. Nothing happened. At first. A groan could be heard that echoed through the street, like that of a building falling in on itself or something experiencing tremendous pressure. Then in a sudden boom of noise, in a ring around Alan, the metal street rose up, sealing him in a dome. The dome had sealed moments before the waiter made his arrival, the blades at his wrists slamming against the barrier of metal protecting (and trapping) Alan. "Kelner, uansett hva han gjorde, bare legge til min regning!" Leon quickly said to the waiter, waving a hand to grab his attention. The waiter looked upward sharply, his metallic fangs retracting, the blades following suit. His demeanor quickly shifted back to the friendly man he was minutes early. "Oh ... Veldig godt, ha en fin kveld!" The man said, turning on his heels and walking back to the stall, a whistle coming from his lips.

"You idiot." Leon growled at the dome, knowing full well it was probably too thick for Alan to hear him, "I just saved your ass from becoming the next fucking side dish!" Leon walked toward the dome and put his hand against it, pausing for a moment and then giving it a knock. It was thick, but not thick enough that bug boy couldn't hear them. He looked back at the other three, "Bug boy tried to skip out on paying the bill, now it's been added to my tab. Oh, and the waiter wishes us a pleasant night. There, now we're all caught up on that..." He glanced at the dome behind him, "Now then... I could lower the barrier and let him out or we could let him chew his way out." Leon started walking away, shoving his other hand into his pocket, "I saw a place on the way here, looked like the entrance to an underground park. Might be worth checking out." He stopped and turned around, facing the ground. If they wanted him to let Alan out now, much to his disliking he'd do so.
"It definitely is a muscle," Leon said to Tollnak's thoughts, "When my mutation first awoke I could barely repair paper cuts. Now I can... Do a lot of stuff." As he stopped speaking, Aeria chimed in with her thoughts, her demeanor quickly changing to her typical cold as ice style. "Looks like she's back to being our ice queen." Leon said as he watched he walk away from the food stand, turning to Tollnak. "Not sure I like what she's saying. Especially the fighting part. I mean, me being a pacifist and all. That doesn't really bode too well. Anyway, we should probably jet too, ja?" Leon slid off of his stool, following Aeria out. He hadn't even touched the other two beers and that was practically a crime against nature, but he was sure he'd be back soon enough. There was no way he could ignore this little place that seemed to exist for him.

"So," Leon started, catching up to Aeria, throwing a glance over his shoulder to make sure that Tollnak was coming, "You seem to have somewhere in mind. Something catch your eye on the way here?" It was when he was standing by Aeria that he took a moment to really look around, noticing how quiet it was. The streets were completely empty, minus the few mutants and the human run restaurant, which when Leon thought about it was incredibly odd in itself. Were the owners of the dive bar also mutants? Would the aliens really let regular humans come onto the ship and set up shop?
If any spaces to join in become open, I'd like to join in.
And if you're looking for a co-gm, I'm always willing to co-gm.
I'm not sure how well Arthur and my character will get along, what with my character having achieved immortality through killing and then drinking the blood of a phoenix and all.
"So perhaps I was a little inappropriate, I could have handled that a lot worse!" Jax said to her comment, The sun was already beginning to set and Jax knew the moon would provide little light tonight. They would have to stop riding much earlier than he would have liked, though he was never particularly fond of riding in the first place. It was just that the sooner this job was done, the sooner he could go about his own business, and the sooner he could distance himself from his family. There was still a good distance for them to travel before the next town, before they could get supplies that would last them the week long journey it would take to get to the next town. The king's castle was still nearly a month's ride away, which also meant that there was a month worth of time for anything and everything to go wrong.

When the night became too dark to ride further, Jax led the horse from the road and dismounted, offering the girl a hand once he was off the horse. "Do you have any idea why the king had sent me to find you?" he asked as he removed the bedroll from the horse. He laid the roll beneath a tree and left it to Genevieve, sitting at the base of the tree. "I have no idea why he needs you, though the king has always been an... eccentric man" he went on, rubbing his temples in a vain attempt to ward off a headache. "The bedroll is yours. I'm well adjusted to sleeping in worse conditions than this," he sighed, closing his eyes slightly, keeping them just open enough to watch the girl.
That was fucking glorious, Leon though as Tollnak popped off his arm and slammed it down on the table. "You're too kind my friend!" Leon grinned, looking back to Aeria as she went in to counter them. Leon feigned horror as she unveiled his 'secret' to Tollnak, mouthing Who, me!? as she said that he liked Tollnak. "We'll now that the cats out of the bag, I don't see any reason to hold back!" Leon said excitedly, jumping up from his seat and turning to Tollnak. "Kiss me you glorious bastard!" He said, grabbing Tollnak and leaning in, giving him a kiss on the cheek. "I just couldn't hold back any longer!"

Leon turned back to Aeria, grinning. "Nice try, cupcake." he laughed, a figure catching his eyes at the end of the bar. "I'll be back in a second," Leon said, walking past Aeria, giving her a pat on the head as he passed by. He approached a boy with flaming red hair whose head was buried in his arms. "Servitør, en annen for at rødt hode, ja?" He called to the waiter, who grinned and went to tell the cook about the newest order. "Eat up, guy. Meals on me." Leon said, patting the red head on the back. Leon didn't wait for a response, nor did he particularly care for one. The kid was obviously hungry and he obviously didn't have the means to pay or didn't know how to speak the language. He returned to his seat, caching a glimpse of bug boy a few seats down, "Hey, Aeria. Your best buddy's here." he chuckled, taking a final sip of his beer before eating the last rib of lamb. "All kidding aside," Leon finally said to Tollnak, "Aeria and I were going to just go check out the city. What with us being away from the old city we all lived in for the first time in our lives an all." Leon rapt his knuckles on the bar, a thought racing through his head, "I think that Shigganeth is planning something for us. He did say the facilities in our home are for unlocking our potential. I mean, that sounds like something a supervillian would say, doesn't it? I'm not the only one that's a little concerned here, am I?"
"More for me," Leon grinned, taking a long drink from his own beer, finishing it off. He was happy to drink theirs as well, seeing as his system was particularly good at processing alcohol due to his mutation. He was at least in control of the simple things that went on inside of his body. It also helped that he had been drinking casually since he was 14, among other things. A byproduct of his environment, really. Leon caught Tollnak's comment about his mother having loved lamb and his heart sank. A lot of mutants had gone through plenty of hardships and it would seem that even Tollnak had his fair share beyond the false arm. Leon wouldn't say anything about it now though. He knew the kind of pain that could be bred from those losses. If Tollnak needed to talk with someone, he'd probably do it when he was ready and with either Aeria or Leon, and Leon was comfortable waiting until Tollnak was ready, if he ever was.

When Tollnak asked if anything beyond food brought them out, Leon glanced toward Aeria expecting her to respond, only to see that she seemed to have no intention of answering. Her mistake. "We were going exploring, checking out the city and all that," Leon started, looking towards Tollnak with a mischievous grin. 'Play along' he mouthed at Tollnak, hoping he'd get the joke. "And we were trying to find a good place to make out. She didn't want to raise any suspicions by coming to my room." Leon glanced back to Aeria for a moment, "Ain't that right?" He grinned, deciding this would be the most fun way to get back at her for calling him old.
"You know, for someone that knows my deepest darkest secret, you sure don't know jack about me, eh?" Leon grinned, his face souring immediately after, "And just how old do you think I am?" The famaliar voice of his only other friend rang out, grabbing Leon's attention. He immediately felt a pang of guilt for not inviting his new friend along, it wasn't that he didn't want him to come along. It was just that he forgot. Being observant and noticing the little things was Leon's forte. Social interaction, well, not so much. "Tollnak!" Leon cheered, raising a single finger in the air, "Et annet for at roboten!" The waiter nodded and snatched the note he gave the cook earlier, marking the order number from two to three. The waiter returned with the drinks, putting a water and a beer before each of the three. "Thank you!" Leon said, taking a long sip of the lager which reminded him of the honey comb he ate as a child. Lagers brewed with honey. This hole in the wall had already stolen his heart and came back for seconds. "I don't know if I should let you two be underage drinkers, you know..." Leon said, raising an eyebrow at Aeria, "Seeing as I'm an old man and all."

"I grabbed the first room I saw," he answered Tollnak's question, the waiter setting a basket down before the three that had a fillet of trout and a small rack of lamb. The waiter looked toward Leon, asking "Noe mer?" Leon waved his hand saying back "Nichto drugoye," his eyes widening for a moment. The waiter gave him a confused look as Leon did mental acrobats to remember the proper words. "Ah, uh... Ingenting mer!" He suddenly answered with a mixture of embarrassment and pride. "I jumbled my languages," he laughed softly, rubbing the back of his head, "Wish I could blame it on the beer." Leon took a bite of his lamb, chewing it slowly, enjoying the flavor to its fullest extent. He was hoping someone else would start up a conversation as he sat there chewing in silence, not really sure he wanted to explain how much of a culture bomb he was.
He could feel the smugness before he heard her words. "What are you waiting for?" the familiar voice called out to him from slightly up the stairs. "Just my date," he said with a grin, figuring that'd get a rise out of her. Leon followed her up the stairs and out of the building, catching up with her after they got outside. "So, where shoul-" he started, his stomach letting out a growl that rivaled that of a tiger, "We should probably get a bite to eat. I think I saw a place we can actually order from too." Leon sounded a bit more excited as he said the second part. He grabbed onto her hand and started walking quickly toward the stand he saw on the way here. Food was a high priority on his mind at the moment, though embarrassing Aeria was equally high, hence the forced hand holding. He still wanted to get her back for the smug smile after all!

"I'd been thinking about what you told me. About your twin. If he's on this ship, I think we can find him." Leon said as they arrived at the food stand, a little hole in the wall named Hjem. The stand had a small bar inside and a few tables in the back, the stand mostly deserted minus the cook and his waiter, two blonde men with rough faces and rougher hands. "Hei! Seat hvor du vil!" the waiter said, giving the two a friendly wave. Leon smiled at the man, and released Aeria's hand, taking a seat at the bar. His eyes quickly darted through the menu board above the bar and rose two fingers, calling to the waiter, "Ørret filet, lam, to øl, to vann, sende regningen til Shiggneth!" The waiter nodded, jotted down the order on a pad and shoved it into the cook's hands. "This is a Norwegian place," Leon explained to Aeria, realizing she was probably feeling kind of lost at this point, "I ordered for us and told them to bill Shigganeth. I'm sure he won't mind."
