Edited my first post. Your turn, Katherin.
Alright... I assumed we didn't know we were creted in the lab. I'll change my posts alongside Katherin.

EDIT: Also, I probably won't be online today until 7, GMT -3.
"That's... Actually a pretty good question," agreed Shadwell. "I just assumed it was simply because they were evil. You know, probably more entertaining to watch us run around the place, meeting and separating, maybe forming groups, trusting or mistrusting the members of said groups, etc. than it is to just put two of us in a circle and make us fight. They may want something that's more likely to generate scenes out of a novel. Of course, maybe there's an actual, scientific reason to it. Seeing which powers adapt better to the real world, as opposed to a controlled area. But I just can bring myself to think this whole thing could be because of real, legitimate reasons."
"So... you really don't know anything..." said Shadwell. "Alright, here's the short version. There are two hundred and one test subjects, a hundred of them positive, like us, a hundred of them negative, on another facility, and Zero, a powerhouse and referee of sorts. We were created with the purpose of fighting each other, to decide who is the "ultimate test subject", despite the fact that it's clearly Zero. Each one of us has a Rune somewhere in our body. When another test subject touches our rune, we lose all our powers: We are out of the competition. Of course, killing is also a way to remove a test subject from the competition. If a normal human touches our rune, they become our partner, which basically means that we get stronger and they fight alongside us, but we die if they die. Oh, and no one seems to know what happens when we touch our own rune. Now you see why I'm being so suspicious?"
"I already told you, I don't know why they want us to destroy each other," Shadwell replied, though he was starting to believe that any attempt to change her mind would be pointless. "All I know is that my doctor told me that's why we're here for. He didn't know much more than that. Or didn't trust me with that information. For God's sake, If I am to believe him, he doesn't even know what happens when we touch our own runes! But he did know we'd have to kill each other. And I don't know what you believe, but I am sure that there are some people in this room who can't be trusted. At all."
Shadwell look at the woman beside him. He didn't want to admit it, but her cheery attitude was starting to get a bit on his nerves.
"Look," he muttered, massaging his temple with his right hand. "We were literally created to fight. The whole point of us being here is that those scientists want us to remove each other's powers and / or kill each for whatever their reason is. Now, I'm not sure if I am going to take part on their sick games myself, but I'm pretty sure that there are at least four people in there already committed to kill everyone else. So, maybe we should move our conversation a bit further away from "100-man squad of teamwork" and a bit closer to "Battle Royale, and the survival thereof," please?"

Nope :D. I was never told that.

And that's why you should always read the introductory paragraph.
Slendy, you do understand that positives and negatives are in different facilities, right?

EDIT: Also, I'm assuming -10 to -1 and 1 to 10 don't really have a life before the point were this starts, as opposed to living in the lab. (that is, their first moment of actual conciousness is when they wake up and everything is explained to them). Correct me if I'm wrong.
Shadwell looked at the crowd as well, frowning behind his glasses.
"Scary, isn't it?" he asked. "A room so full of people, each with a different magical power, all talking... And in three days, they'll all begin to try and kill each other. Some of them may pair up, a few may even form bigger groups, but I'm pretty sure most of them will go solo. It's hard placing trust on people, after all."
