"Do you really think I'd underestimate a foe who took over their position of his world's Death?!" asked M to the new arrival. "I'm boastful and crazy, not stupid!" After this, and noticing the powerful attack sent the man in a suit, he stood back and created a personal forcefield around himself, in an attempt to stop the dust particles. He poured nearly all of his concentration into it, making it nigh indestructible. Of course, nothing else could tresspass it.
"So," said M. "You can create illusions. Thanks for the warning." M holds his hands to his forehead and his eyes flash yellow for a moment, before returning to their usual blue glow as he resumes his battle stance. In front of him, the illusionary blood begins to disappear.

From now on, any ilusions the Godmodder creates will not affect M!

Needless to say, the exploded swords and box became a fine blue mist.
"Better than a god? Unstoppable?!" M shouted. "If you had ever even glimpsed at a god's power, you'd realize you're nothing more than child's play. And you're not unstoppable! You bled! If it bleeds, you can kill it. Specially if the blood stays out of the body."

M created a blue box around the Godmodder with a wave of his hand, and, moving both arms, he created thousands of blue swords, which stabbed the box, and the Godmodder inside, in every possible direction. Meanwhile, the lances dissolved into a fine blue mist.
"You call my mind puny?" M gloats, as his eyes begin to glow and his bow fades into a blue mist, alongside the arrows. "My mind is stronger than yours could ever hope to be. I can withstand the horrors of a thousand eldritch things, placed side to side, and you think your power is beyond my comprehension?"

M extends his arms to his sides, and a circle of blue lances appear around the Godmodder. He then throws his arms fowards, and the lances charge towards the Godmodder.
A gate opens in the sky. From it, a huge branch extends, twisting down to the floor. A figure clad in blue runs down the enormous branch, his face concealed by a hood. He reaches the floor, and as soon as he gets off the branch, it retreats into the sky. Before the gate closes, the man looks towards it, giving a thumbs-up to a smaller figure standing on its edge. Then he turns around, to gaze at the godmodder, and the destruction around him.
"So... You are the one I must defeat this time... I am M, destroyer of Deaths. You are just one more in the list." M extends his hand, and a blue, heavily ornate bow appears in it. He shoots a volley of blue arrows, which he can move with his mind, and makes them home in on te Godmodder.
"Well, I'm not exactly dying to risk my life..." Shadwell paused, thinking over that sentence. "...OK, I really should stay away from metaphors. What I'm saying is, I don't really want to fight, but I'll probably take anything I deem an easy victory. Before they get stronger. I am also confident enough on my skills to think I'll be able to get out alive if I'm somehow forced into a tougher fight. What about you? Do you think you'd be able to survive, if forced to duel?"
Sounds cool. I'll bring up a character from a story I've never written, then.
Should I start a summon already? And what would be the proper length for it at this point?
I don't really know..." answered Shadwell, thoughtfully. He looked around, taking in the surrounding. Some positives were simply talking, just like them. Others were toying around with their powers, and finally, a large chunk of them seemed to be bragging about something, probably their abilities with their respective weapons.
"Presumably one of those idiots waving around their weapons like they're in some sort of... Weapon... Waving... Thing..." Shadwell snorted. "I'm bad at analogies, apparently."
"Not at the beggining, I don't think so," theorized Shadwell. "Of course, if they notice someone refusing every single duel, they'll probably change that soon enough. Limited refusals, maybe, or some sort of penalty."
