I can't believe I've stuck myself with three girls for all of next year who think screaming, shrieking and making sex noises consists of banter. -_-

Bio

Howdy all! I figured it was about time I spruced up my bio section. Or, y'know. Wrote something in it other than WIP.

So! Things to know about my mostly-good self:

I'm a 20 year old female, hailing from a not-so-small town in the north east of England. I'm currently about a third through my second year at Uni, and have made some awesome friends there so far. I also debate. That's always fun - arguing has always been an annoying trait (for others, that is) of mine, so putting it into something one can have on their CV is great. The competitions are super fun too. Anyway, roleplaying.

If you've known me for a short or long while, you'll likely know what an absolute slut for fantasy I am. High fantasy to low, I love those kind of roleplays and will nearly always be interested in new ones that crop up. The same applies for Sci-Fi, but at the moment, I'm not feeling inspiration for a good ol' spacefaring RP. Gotta get the Mass Effect out again, get me craving some Turian booty again. However, I won't go for only these ones. SoL can interest me if they're run properly, alongside horror, mystery, romance, etc. I won't ignore something simply because it doesn't have magic or flying bears in it or something. As for level, I like to consider my writing high-casual to low-advanced. Hopefully others will agree with me on that one, haha. Anyway, here's a list of specific fandoms I enjoy, kind of in order of preference:

  • Lord of the Rings Universe (Including The Hobbit)
  • Dragon Age series
  • Elder Scrolls
  • Mass Effect Trilogy
  • Star Trek (I'd love a Discovery one right now!)
  • Star Wars (Specifically the time around the Prequels; while I shan't get into the whole Prequel/Original war on which is better, roleplaying makes for more excitement in the prequel era. Clone Wars guys, c'mon!)
  • Buffy the Vampire Slayer
  • Fringe
  • Greek Mythology (PJO, but with the amount of Camp Half-Blood roleplays that have come and gone, I'd prefer one based more on the Original Mythologies)
  • Norse Mythology
  • Marvel
  • Left 4 Dead
  • The Walking Dead (Or any Post-Apocalypse Roleplay, really.)
  • 'A Song of Ice and Fire' Series
  • House of Night Series
  • True Blood
  • Deus Ex
  • Blood Ties
  • The Vampire Diaries (I admittedly abandoned the show and books when the plot got too boring, but I still like the Universe. I'd join a roleplay based in it, if it had original characters, that is.)
  • Pacific Rim

Aaannndd I'll stop the list here before I go on forever. Basically there's a lot, particularly in the realm of fantasy. Hit me up if you want me in your roleplay, of if you'd like to do a 1x1 based around any of those areas, or even some additional ones if you think I'd be interested. I love original plots and Universes too, especially if they're done well.

Current Active Roleplays:
CURRENTLY UPDATING
The Elder Scrolls: Fruits of Contention
The Elder Scrolls: Oblivion - Crimson Skies (GM)
Escaping the Blight (1x1)

^^ Thanks for the clarification, but I've decided not to have solely canon-facts. Hell, I broke the main canon of this game already; Dead Dragonborn.
Also, with the amount of players, certain canons can't be used, so I suppose we can allow non-canon species, and whatnot.

Actually, I looked it up before putting it down. Dragonlings are a separate species of creature than dragons.

Ah! I apologize for being a crappy GM and not checking myself. :)
Roxanne could tell she had missed plenty from the bus ride she had missed, simply by looking at the others. There was Taiyo, who was... well, glowing. And see-though. Huh. A guy with fantastic looking hair, all dyed and sticking up, yet he radiated something fairly negative. Perhaps their Godly patrons were opposites? There were two other girls, both fairly normal looking like herself, a sleepy looking ginger boy, and an older looking guy who had just rather casually dropped into the seemingly bottomless well.
They sure didn't mention that thing to her. She wasn't fantastic with heights. Or darkness, for that matter.
"'Last chance to denounce Godhood''." She muttered under her breath dubiously. She doubted that would stop her visions. She hadn't had all that many, but the few she had witnessed... God, (Or Gods, should she be saying that now? God/s, this was confusing.) she shuddered lightly just thinking back on them. Stepping forward with her bags hesitantly, she peered down the well, then looked at Taiyo.
"Not the easiest way I can imagine getting there." She said dryly, still dithering. She didn't want to be last in, but there was no way she was just going to leap in all happy-like as Phobetor did. She wondered idly if they'd look any different on the other side.
Accepted, but kindly change the mention of the dragonling skull. Dragons weren't around a decade ago, let alone young ones.
And for the both of you, don't necessarily worry about your bio, just try and make something up while in roleplay, 'kay?
Reaching the fringes of the roaring fire, her next target was sat down a bit away from it, and she smiled slightly in the shadows as she approached silently, not truly perceived by the crowd that she pushed through. This had been a great achievement of hers; whether she was wearing her chameleon armour or not. Sometimes it made her feel a wee bit lonely, but a thief often had a lonely life. That was part of the reason why she had came here with the handful of others from various backgrounds; perhaps she could find some form of companionship.
That was, if they didn't catch her stealing from them. And 9 times out of 10, they didn't. Arrogance was an attribute found often in adventurers, and with arrogance came the thought that someone couldn't steal from them. How wrong they were.
Reaching the man with the wine at the edge of the fire, she smiled nonchalantly as she slipped her hand into one of his pockets.
Rozalia was getting impatient.

From when she had arrived at Ivarstead, the villagers had warned her against going up the mountain alone. What with the wolves, the snow, the treacherous slippery steps - and of course, the dragons - they assumed it was suicide going up there. But countless other had arrived at Ivarstead, staying in the same inn she made a beeline for. And they were all searching for the same thing.
Dovehfeyn.
Her breath swirling out in a mist, only to be blown away by the winds, Rozalia continued her way towards the inn, pushing open the door and stepping into the warmth. A few glances came her way, but she was overlooked, as usual. She smiled to herself. Well, that just made collecting coin for a bed and food much easier.
Dipping her hands into various different pockets for 1 or two septims, she found this easier to work with. In a crowd filled with like-minded people, she wasn't going to risk lifting much from one person.
All accepted, start whenever you'd like.
Also, awesome characters guys, thanks for taking part.
Roxy's content smile was replaced with a frown for a moment at the boy's bluntness, but it swiftly returned as she boarded the bus, a backpack slung over one shoulder while she juggled her small suitcase in her other hand. She hadn't brought all that many things with her - she didn't have that much to bring, to be honest. Most of it was books, with a few clothes. the only garment worth anything to her was the old hoody tied around her waist; previously white, it had become grey and tired through years of wear. But she loved it all the same.
Writing her name on the clipboard, she was slightly disappointed as she looked around the bus. There were only a handful of students on there. She had been looking forward to a bit more than that, but oh well. One couldn't have everything.
"By the way," Roxy called out to the boy who had pulled the bus over, stopping at a seat opposite him. "You can call me Roxy if you want." She said with a quick grin, having to stand on her tiptoes to put her suitcase in the overhead compartment. Finally managing it, she collapsed into the seat and gave him another bright grin.

And so, your journey begins. You have answered the plea of help emanating from the northern lands of Skyrim, joining together with strangers in an attempt to end the dragon menace. You can stray in your quest, for one cannot be slaying dragons all of the time. Join factions, make alliances, end wars.

Upon travelling into Skyrim - unless you already lived there - the first place to go when joining Dovahfeyn is High Hrothgar; the Greybeard's dwelling near the tip of the Throat of the World. There, you will receive information and instructions on your new life as Dragon-Slayers.
