I can't believe I've stuck myself with three girls for all of next year who think screaming, shrieking and making sex noises consists of banter. -_-

Bio

Howdy all! I figured it was about time I spruced up my bio section. Or, y'know. Wrote something in it other than WIP.

So! Things to know about my mostly-good self:

I'm a 20 year old female, hailing from a not-so-small town in the north east of England. I'm currently about a third through my second year at Uni, and have made some awesome friends there so far. I also debate. That's always fun - arguing has always been an annoying trait (for others, that is) of mine, so putting it into something one can have on their CV is great. The competitions are super fun too. Anyway, roleplaying.

If you've known me for a short or long while, you'll likely know what an absolute slut for fantasy I am. High fantasy to low, I love those kind of roleplays and will nearly always be interested in new ones that crop up. The same applies for Sci-Fi, but at the moment, I'm not feeling inspiration for a good ol' spacefaring RP. Gotta get the Mass Effect out again, get me craving some Turian booty again. However, I won't go for only these ones. SoL can interest me if they're run properly, alongside horror, mystery, romance, etc. I won't ignore something simply because it doesn't have magic or flying bears in it or something. As for level, I like to consider my writing high-casual to low-advanced. Hopefully others will agree with me on that one, haha. Anyway, here's a list of specific fandoms I enjoy, kind of in order of preference:

  • Lord of the Rings Universe (Including The Hobbit)
  • Dragon Age series
  • Elder Scrolls
  • Mass Effect Trilogy
  • Star Trek (I'd love a Discovery one right now!)
  • Star Wars (Specifically the time around the Prequels; while I shan't get into the whole Prequel/Original war on which is better, roleplaying makes for more excitement in the prequel era. Clone Wars guys, c'mon!)
  • Buffy the Vampire Slayer
  • Fringe
  • Greek Mythology (PJO, but with the amount of Camp Half-Blood roleplays that have come and gone, I'd prefer one based more on the Original Mythologies)
  • Norse Mythology
  • Marvel
  • Left 4 Dead
  • The Walking Dead (Or any Post-Apocalypse Roleplay, really.)
  • 'A Song of Ice and Fire' Series
  • House of Night Series
  • True Blood
  • Deus Ex
  • Blood Ties
  • The Vampire Diaries (I admittedly abandoned the show and books when the plot got too boring, but I still like the Universe. I'd join a roleplay based in it, if it had original characters, that is.)
  • Pacific Rim

Aaannndd I'll stop the list here before I go on forever. Basically there's a lot, particularly in the realm of fantasy. Hit me up if you want me in your roleplay, of if you'd like to do a 1x1 based around any of those areas, or even some additional ones if you think I'd be interested. I love original plots and Universes too, especially if they're done well.

^^ Ah! You just reminded me of something, North!

Despite how expanded the Skyrim universe is, it's still not as intricate as we'd like it to be for our rolepaly. So, because of this, I encourage you to incorporate new stories, lore, and songs into the roleplay. They can be made up, or based off of normal stuff - you can even include modern-day songs, as long as they sound slightly bard like. Not as bard like as Ragnar the Red, but just something old-timey. If the lyrics don't match the old-timey feel of it, just change them to incorporate Skyrim.Same thing with books and stuff. If you want to include a fairytale, go for it. This also counts towards certain spells.
"Oh, for Gods' sakes..." Rozalia muttered under her breath as the testosterone levels in the room suddenly went through the roof. Upon Haserus' invitation to a fight with Valerion, she stood up with a distinct glare upon her face.
"What are you, stupid?" She called out angrily, drawing all eyes in the room. "You want to go and prove something by fighting among your companions? Whether you like it or not, you are both allies in this war against Alduin!" She paused for a moment, looking between Valerion and Haserus. "This fight for survival will not be easy. So I highly doubt that we have time for ego, bravado, or petty squabbling. You ask who we would rather follow? Neither, by the looks of things. I expected more mature behaviour from a centuries old Lich, and a supposed battle hardened warrior." She stopped now, still glowering at them, and not looking nearly as quiet and naive as she had moments ago.

"She's got a point." Niko spoke up once Rozalia had finished talking. "We need to work together to kill dragons - Dovahkiin failed to heed that warning, and now he's dead. As Delphine said earlier," Niko glanced at Haserus. "If it's not good enough for you, you can leave now. We don't need any trouble in this group." He said in a reasonable tone of voice.
"Yeah, we'll make sure to bury your corpse when we find it on the road if you do that." Leo muttered beside him, a scowl on his face.
"Thanks!" Rozalia offered up a grateful smile as Devin helped her with her bag and Sora's basket. Once sat down - after removing Sora from the window seat, and mewing grumpily, had curled up on her lap instead - she began introductions.
"Nice to meet you too! I'm Rozalia, but you can both call me Roze. Less of a mouthful." She said with an dimpled smile, returning Jake's handshake. "And yeah, I'm pretty excited. I've done loads of reading up on the school once I got my letter, but I reckon it's never quite the same as really being there, y'know?" She glanced out of the window interestedly, managing a wave to her Father and brother - still on the platform - before the train pulled out completely. She petted Sora absent-mindedly as the mulled over Jake's second question.
"Um... I'm not really that sporty, to be honest. I like swimming and climbing, I suppose. I never really got much practice with a broom though. My Dad's a Muggle, and my brother was away at work." She answered, not even bothering to mention football - although she hated to stand with female stereotypes, she found the game immensely boring and a massive waste of time and money. Not wanting to make enemies on the first day, she didn't bother mentioning it.
"I like horse-riding too. I don't reckon they'll have any horses at Hogwarts though. I hear they have other things - like Hippogriffs, and Thestrals.. and Centaurs too. Although I don't think they'd let someone ride them." She mused out loud, shuffling backwards on the seat and tucking her legs underneath her, displacing Sora who jumped to the ground, glaring at her - well, as much as a kitten can glare - and then began sniffing at the boys' feet curiously.
"So, what houses are you both thinking of?" She asked, after considering taking out a book she wanted to finish, but then deciding it would be a bit rude this early into the journey.

Likewise.
Rozalia was beginning to feel the heat.
That wasn't good.

Caro was out of her mind now - although the shield still surrounding him, her main focus was on the guy in front of her. He had dodged her with ease, and it was no secret that this bubble around her meant she was moving slower than she normally would. However, it was either this, or being roasted alive. The latter didn't interest her in the least. She did, however, wince at the double attack - the bullets were easy to deflect. They were nothing compared to some of the things she had to deal with. The flames concentrated on her own bubble, however, soon took it's toll. Slowly, she moved away from the Merc. There was no way she could be on the offense now - it would be defence. Could she hold out long enough for someone else to show up? Who knew. But there was no point in wasting energy on trying to attack this guy with her shields slowing her down.
"C'mon, is that all you got? I'm feeling pretty cool in here." She taunted him, hoping this tactic would work - perhaps he had a limit on his powers too. A play for time was all she could handle rightabout now.

IT IS NOT ENOUGH TO SUCCEED.
OTHERS MUST FAIL.
"You're going to love Hogwarts, Rozie." Leo said Rozalia, glancing at her from behind his shoulder - she had insisted on one last piggy-back ride off him before she left on the train. He was feeling lucky - the Auror's office had been reluctant to let him go for a half-day, but there was no way in Hell he was going to miss seeing her off onto the train. Besides, he wanted to see the old platform again, and to see if there were any of his friends hanging around seeing off their younger brother's and sisters.
"It sounds amazing! I can't wait to see the Library! Ooh, and the Great Hall! Oh, and the ghosts! I bet they're way more friendly than they're shown on horror movies." Roze laughed as she went on talking about this, her previously brown hair shining gold with her excitement. Her father - walking alongside her and Leo - quickly took of his hat and hurriedly pulled it down over her shining curls, glancing around. They were just entering the station, with Roze's Dad pushing the luggage trolley; on it lay two large trunks, a smaller knapsack, and a wicker basket where her cat Sora was sleeping - and they were still surrounded by Muggles.
"Ah... nostalgia." Roze's father grinned as he looked at the very familiar ticket barrier. A child and his mother had just passed through it, unbeknownst to the surrounding Muggles. "Remember when me and your mum took you here for the first time? You looked fit to burst; either from excitement or tears, I still don't know." He said with a sly grin at his son, who nudged him playfully.
They were soon through the barrier and among the hustle and bustle of the various children and frantic parents, some fussing, some bored, some screaming after toddlers that had somehow snuck onto the train. Rozalia was now on the ground, staying close to her brother and father as they pushed towards the train. It was a magnificent scarlet, with steam already billowing out of the funnel at the front and the steam pistons gleaming. She gazed in awe at it, and then saw the various students already sat in the compartments.
"Will you stay until it pulls out of the station?" She asked, looking up at Leo and her Dad, removing her hat and letting her magically-changing hair fall free.
"Like you have to ask. C'mon kiddo, let's get you on there. I don't want it going without you." Her Dad said, ushering her forward and passing her trunks over to one of the porters. With her knapsack slung over her back and Sora's basket in her arms - he had mewled most grumpily when she awoke him - Rozalia took another look at the train, then back to Leo and her Dad. Her hair suddenly took on a blue tinge as a pang of homesickness hit her. She hated to leave them, she really did. But she knew that her brother would be heading back to the Auror's office soon, and her Dad was set to ship out to the Middle East tomorrow.
"I'll write to you every day, okay?" She promised, firmly and silently telling herself not to cry. Honestly - she wasn't a baby. Her Dad chuckled and knelt so he could pull her into a hug.
"I won't hold you to that. Besides, I don't think my bunk mates would enjoy coping with an owl every day. Every week, yeah? Then I can write back some decent replies other than a report on sand storms and sunburn."
"I'll be impressed if you manage to write us both every day, Rozie," Leo began, ruffling her curls as he always did, a bright grin on his face as the blueness receded from her blonde hair. ", the workload catches up with ya. Trust me."
"Pft. Like you know about work." She retorted teasingly with a grin.

Her goodbye's were swift, but heartfelt, and she was soon wandering down the train to find a compartment. She was hoping to find an empty one, or at the very least one that didn't have any second years or above within it. After a fruitless search of an empty compartment, she halted outside one containing two boys. Sliding open the compartment door (Quite a feat while juggling a heavy bag and an angry kitten), she smiled at them both as she pointed at a seat opposite them.
"Hey. Mind if I sit there?" She asked, and as if making a point, Sora leapt out of her arms and curled up on the window seat. (Seat #9)
Hey, I won't be able to get up a proper post for a few hours, but could Roze have seat 9? I could do a collab with Devin then, if you'd like. :)

Ah... Nostalgia.
Nico swiftly sat down by his cousin as the meeting began, his eyes locked on the elder Greybeards. As they began speaking, even Leo's bored gaze was drawn to them upon hearing the power in their words.
"Although we, as Greybeards, believe in letting fate carry on it's way, we also have come to believe that the time for this world to end is not yet." Arngeir continued, all eyes in the room on him as he spoke. "Following the death of our Dragoborn, Alyx, we have come to realize that working alone is fruitless. This is why it is imperative that you do not venture out by yourself. The dragons are a formidable enemy, and Alduin... well, we will need all the help we can get to fight him." Arngeir finished, then looked expectantly at Delphine, who stepped forwards, looking like she meant business. There was a distinct bluntness in her voice, no doubt borne from years of hardships.
"Well, I suppose that comes with being a Blade. He thought to himself as she began talking.
"Before Alyx died, he managed to procure an artifact known as the Dragonstone, from Bleak Falls Barrow." She began, taking out a piece of parchment, with markings of charcoal on it. "This is a map of all the dragon burial sites in Skyrim, so it should give us a heads up on which ones will rise next."
"Wait... the dragons are coming back from the dead?" The Breton girl piped up, a startled look on her face as she peered at Delphine, steam still rising from her soup bowl. Delphine nodded grimly.
"Yes. Alduin has been rising them from their graves - they didn't just disappear for a few hundred years. They were killed off. But now they're coming back. Now, the ones marked on this map are going to be far stronger than the ones you may encounter out in the wild. Although unsure of where these lesser dragons come from, they are easier to kill than the ones with names; the ones at the burial sites." Delphine continued, then jabbed at one of the crosses with her finger. "This is where we're going - a burial site just outside of Kynesgrove. We'll go there together, hopefully in enough time to catch it before it rises. From there, we'll split off into smaller groups, each group going to separate corners of Skyrim to assess each burial mound in their vicinity." An edge of hardness crept back into her voice as her narrowed eyes swept the room. "Going it alone is not an option; if you're interested in doing so, you can leave now. We have no interest in those with a death wish."
Stepping back from the table, Nico supposed the meeting was over - he understood why they were so against people doing this alone; their numbers weren't that big, to be honest, and the Dragonborn himself had died attempting to kill a dragon alone.
"You'll be leaving at dawn. We'll provide you with food, potions and anything else you may need for the journey. I'd recommend you get some rest and become better acquainted with one another, unless any of you have any queries?" Arngeir asked as Delphine swept from the room.
