I can't believe I've stuck myself with three girls for all of next year who think screaming, shrieking and making sex noises consists of banter. -_-

Bio

Howdy all! I figured it was about time I spruced up my bio section. Or, y'know. Wrote something in it other than WIP.

So! Things to know about my mostly-good self:

I'm a 20 year old female, hailing from a not-so-small town in the north east of England. I'm currently about a third through my second year at Uni, and have made some awesome friends there so far. I also debate. That's always fun - arguing has always been an annoying trait (for others, that is) of mine, so putting it into something one can have on their CV is great. The competitions are super fun too. Anyway, roleplaying.

If you've known me for a short or long while, you'll likely know what an absolute slut for fantasy I am. High fantasy to low, I love those kind of roleplays and will nearly always be interested in new ones that crop up. The same applies for Sci-Fi, but at the moment, I'm not feeling inspiration for a good ol' spacefaring RP. Gotta get the Mass Effect out again, get me craving some Turian booty again. However, I won't go for only these ones. SoL can interest me if they're run properly, alongside horror, mystery, romance, etc. I won't ignore something simply because it doesn't have magic or flying bears in it or something. As for level, I like to consider my writing high-casual to low-advanced. Hopefully others will agree with me on that one, haha. Anyway, here's a list of specific fandoms I enjoy, kind of in order of preference:

  • Lord of the Rings Universe (Including The Hobbit)
  • Dragon Age series
  • Elder Scrolls
  • Mass Effect Trilogy
  • Star Trek (I'd love a Discovery one right now!)
  • Star Wars (Specifically the time around the Prequels; while I shan't get into the whole Prequel/Original war on which is better, roleplaying makes for more excitement in the prequel era. Clone Wars guys, c'mon!)
  • Buffy the Vampire Slayer
  • Fringe
  • Greek Mythology (PJO, but with the amount of Camp Half-Blood roleplays that have come and gone, I'd prefer one based more on the Original Mythologies)
  • Norse Mythology
  • Marvel
  • Left 4 Dead
  • The Walking Dead (Or any Post-Apocalypse Roleplay, really.)
  • 'A Song of Ice and Fire' Series
  • House of Night Series
  • True Blood
  • Deus Ex
  • Blood Ties
  • The Vampire Diaries (I admittedly abandoned the show and books when the plot got too boring, but I still like the Universe. I'd join a roleplay based in it, if it had original characters, that is.)
  • Pacific Rim

Aaannndd I'll stop the list here before I go on forever. Basically there's a lot, particularly in the realm of fantasy. Hit me up if you want me in your roleplay, of if you'd like to do a 1x1 based around any of those areas, or even some additional ones if you think I'd be interested. I love original plots and Universes too, especially if they're done well.

Current Active Roleplays:

The Elder Scrolls: Fruits of Contention
The Elder Scrolls: Oblivion - Crimson Skies (GM)

Hey, don't feel like you have to wait for others. I doubt the RP will carry away too much.

Although it was obvious that Ethan had very nearly revealed something he considered to be less than decent about himself, Steph couldn't help but feel slightly rebuked by his sudden change in manner. However, she didn't mention it, instead gathering her things and closing her portfolio, standing up and easing herself out from the seat. As she did so, she brushed past Ethan, being almost uncomfortably close to him - at least, it would have been uncomfortable, had it been anyone else. Her hand brushed across the rough material of his military jacket, her breath intaking the scent of his deodorant and natural musk. Blushing and ducking her head, she muttered a hasty 'thanks' before passing into the main walkway of the bus, falling amongst the ranks of the other students as they stepped off.
As the cold air of the outside hit her, she lingered for a moment by the entrance of the school, her face turning to glance over her shoulder, arms hugging her portfolio to her body.
Should I wait for him? She wondered to herself silently. Although she was sure they would be able to talk fairly amicably to one another throughout the school day, she wondered if his sudden halt in conversation had changed his ideas about her. Would he just walk on by? Or would he act like nothing weird had happened?
It's not like I have anything to lose. A small voice in her head reminded her in an almost wistful tone. She was right though - even if he did decide to ignore her, she wouldn't be losing anything. Planting herselves determinedly beside the school walls, Steph ignored most who passed by her as she waited for Ethan. She gained scornful looks from the popular girls, leers from most of the boys, and ignored by the majority of others... barring a group of girls - who, by the worst of luck, had decided to notice Steph for once in a while. These were the girls who normally allowed Steph to hang around them, pretty much ignoring her, as they knew she preferred her own solitary confinement along with some form of protective companions,
"Steph! Are you coming inside? It's freezing out here." Asked one of the girls - Paige, she was called, the girl who made the most effort to include Steph as much as possible. The rest of the girls in the group lingered only for a second by the entrance, not even noticing Steph until she answered in an almost unnaturally clear voice.
"Um... no thanks." Steph began, and the girls stopped talking, looking at Steph in surprise as they realized she had actually said something, rather than just following them absent-mindedly. "I'm waiting for someone."
They stood there, dumbstruck, as the crimson blush returned to Steph's face at all the attention she had suddenly gained. Her eyes darted back to the bus as she was suddenly bombarded by eager questions, asking who she had finally made some form of decent contact with that made them wroth waiting for.
Oh, hurry up, Ethan. She thought to herself miserably, as her cheeks reddened even further as one of the girls asked her if the person was a boy - bringing forth excited squeals from the others. Honestly - as soon as gossip was mentioned, the victim became the most favourite person in the school.
Rozalia's cheeks followed suit by blushing crimson as he complimented her curls, but she smiled on at him anyway as Magnus introduced himself.
"It's very nice to meet you too." She replied, but was silent for a few minutes after that - considering the Headmaster's speech and the appearance of plates upon plates of food, she was both too hungry and dumbfounded to talk much. Jason -the Prefect - had shook her hand too and relayed any of the information she might have missed, and she was happy to return to her food. As if the plates had known what she liked, a stack of steaks - cooked to her own opinion of perfection (Blue, that is; the perfect balance between raw and rare) had appeared in front of her, and she had dragged a large piece onto her plate in no time, swiftly followed by a hefty amount of caesar salad and garlic bread.
"So, Magnus, you said you're new to the whole magic thing?" She asked, cutting into her steak with a content smile, her hair still a happy blonde. "Did you grow up with Muggles? My Dad's one - my Mam had all the magic stuff, but she told him practically everything that went on." She said, then couldn't help but giggle. "It was probably wrong of her, but she didn't care." She added, still amused at her late Mother's rebellious streak - rather risky, for an Auror, but her Dad knew how to keep a secret. A tinge of pink appeared at the root of her honey-coloured hair, some of it streaking down to the tips.
A smile graced Rozalia's face as she heard the laugh of Rawlith - a fairly unique sound to her, for she had not conversed with many Khajiits, let alone ones cheerful enough to be heard laughing. Her eyes opening as she turned to look at Rawlith, she listened to his light conversation.
"Well, that's a relief. I would have hated to find out tomorrow morning I'd been bathing in less friendly waters." She replied with a grin, leaning against the rock and folding her arms on top of the warm slate, looking up at Rawlith. She was tempted to ask if he was going to join her in the water - but she wasn't sure if Khajiits shared the same hatred of water that was common among their less intelligent feline counterparts.
"I was just thinking about you, actually." She added, then paused, blushing slightly. "As in... you know, as a possible companion. You seem nice. I figured once the team breaks up, you and me could do well together." She added hastily, the blush receding somewhat, and being replaced by a slightly more dubious look as she overheard their undead mascot of Valerion, He'd spent the majority of the journey being quiet, along with the rest. There hadn't been much intalking, the largest amount of conversation coming from Delphine barking out orders, and the conversations between Nikolaus and Leonidas. However, Rozalia couldn't help but shudder as Valerion offered magical help... at a price that she was sure would not be worth it. She was glad when he walked away, talking about a supply run.
"Gods, that guy is creepy." She muttered, and her eyes darted back to Rawlith's bright golden ones. "Speaking of magic... I figured maybe you'd know some stuff to pass along." She said, then ducked her head slightly, chuckling nervously. "I'd hate to have to go to... other sources."
"So, Niko... what d'you think of this lot?" Leo's quiet voice filtered through Niko's stupor, and he arose from the brink of his slumber, heavy eyes opening to peer at his cousin.
"I don't know," He mumbled through a yawn, stretching his arms out in front. "Most of them seem okay. Plenty of magic users, which is more beneficial than some realize." He added, and Leo rolled his eyes, waving his hand dismissively.
"Nah, not their abilities. I mean character! Personality! Anyone you'd be interested in journeying with once we break apart? I mean, you've racked up 3 votes already, so I bet plenty of people will want to be with our esteemed leader." He said with a mischievous grin, and Niko pushed him playfully in the shoulder, glancing around. They had settled themselves atop one of the natural rocky ledges, just a few meters away from the fire that Dreet-Na had kindly made. Rawlith and Rozalia were nearby at the rock pool, Valerion had gone to the village, and the rest of them were here and there, but most out of earshot.
"I wouldn't say no to anyone who asked - I suppose I wouldn't be happy if Valerion tagged along. Something about the man just doesn't seem right." Niko murmured, wondering in hindsight if 'man' was the correct term to use. "Haserus - despite his less than warm exterior - could be an asset, if he'd agree to work with me; a lowly Nord." He added with a grin, causing Leo to pull a face.
"Eh. I'd want to journey with someone with a sense of humour. I'd ask Roze, but I don't trust thieves. Even cute ones." He muttered, throwing himself onto his back carelessly and staring up at the blanket of the night sky, stars blinking through now and again underneath the cloud cover. "Hopefully some more people will show up." He added, then paused thoughtfully, his eyes following the trail of a torchbug as it floated lazily over his head. "Preferably girls." He added with a grin, earning a swift punch to the stomach from his cousin, tired of his slightly chauvinistic remarks.
God, that character is amazing! You can go ahead and start whenever - I can't wait to see her in action. I can think of a certain cheeky imperial of mine who'll like Faire a lot. :)
Sighing contently, Rozalia glanced over her shoulder at the group behind, most of them huddled around the fire. But Rozalia had chosen an alternate source for warmth - the rock pools.
Seeing the clouds of steam billowing into the air from a distance, Roze had been looking forward to the volcanic badlands for a while now. She knew the waters of the pools were clean - and far too hot to host beasts such as slaughterfish or mudcrabs - and an excellent relief from the bitter cold of the air. They had set up camp quite close to a rather deep pool, which she had lowered herself into as quickly as possible, wearing naught but her underclothes. The steam even took the edge off the cold air around her head, so she felt warmer than she had been for days.
Still looking over her shoulder, she noticed Dreet-Na had placed fire resistance potions by the fire, inviting the others to take as they pleased. She had been pondering the thought of asking one of the group for assistance when it came to magic. As a half-Breton, she knew she had retained most of the magical properties form her Mother's side of the family. But she rarely used it. She knew the basic fire and healing spells, but not to a great extent or control. She had thought of asking Dreet-Na for some form of lesson, but for some reason, she felt she could not trust him to keep it to himself. The last thing she needed was to be thought less-of by anyone in the group.
However, the Khajiit - Rawlith - she had a feeling that he would be more sympathetic to her need for magical education.
Stretching under the water, she sighed and sunk lower into the water. She'd have to talk to Rawlith some time tonight.
I'm still here :)
Double-taking in surprise at Ethan's query, Steph's own smile grew into a grin as she looked down at the 2 moons on her page.
"Yeah! Just Oblivion and Skyrim though. I love those games, they're just so... big. If you know what I mean." She said, then chuckled nervously. Roleplay games were her favourite, Elder Scrolls closely followed by the Mass Effect series. It gave her a chance to be someone else in a better world - while not having to Disconnect. "I was tempted to place a troll or something in the background, or maybe a dragon... but the teacher's started to notice the more obvious stuff like that." She said, then her smile turned back to Ethan. "I'm impressed you spotted it - do you play them a lot?" She asked, her eyes still on his as the bus lurched to a final stop. They were at the school already - the journey had been surprisingly fast while talking with Ethan.
Roze turned to Elijah, her back now on Lighthouse and the kid as she talked to him, volume turned down a notch.
"Elijah, I understand you have no preferences to do work for the Government. I don't either. But it's better than finding ourselves stuck in the pocket of some corporation." She said quietly, then smiled ever so slightly. "And if you're busting for another fight, it sounds like you're going to get one. From what I've heard, Avalon isn't the friendliest of places." She added, then turned back to the kid as he questioned Lighthouse's credibility.
"For all we know, you - or at the very least your employer - could be working for the 'Voice'. At this point, there's not really much room to doubt one another. I want this guy taking down as soon as possible, and this mess to be all cleared up. Metas had enough problems in the world before this TV asshole came out of nowhere." She said to him, then frowned slightly. "What's your name anyways?"
