I can't believe I've stuck myself with three girls for all of next year who think screaming, shrieking and making sex noises consists of banter. -_-

Bio

Howdy all! I figured it was about time I spruced up my bio section. Or, y'know. Wrote something in it other than WIP.

So! Things to know about my mostly-good self:

I'm a 20 year old female, hailing from a not-so-small town in the north east of England. I'm currently about a third through my second year at Uni, and have made some awesome friends there so far. I also debate. That's always fun - arguing has always been an annoying trait (for others, that is) of mine, so putting it into something one can have on their CV is great. The competitions are super fun too. Anyway, roleplaying.

If you've known me for a short or long while, you'll likely know what an absolute slut for fantasy I am. High fantasy to low, I love those kind of roleplays and will nearly always be interested in new ones that crop up. The same applies for Sci-Fi, but at the moment, I'm not feeling inspiration for a good ol' spacefaring RP. Gotta get the Mass Effect out again, get me craving some Turian booty again. However, I won't go for only these ones. SoL can interest me if they're run properly, alongside horror, mystery, romance, etc. I won't ignore something simply because it doesn't have magic or flying bears in it or something. As for level, I like to consider my writing high-casual to low-advanced. Hopefully others will agree with me on that one, haha. Anyway, here's a list of specific fandoms I enjoy, kind of in order of preference:

  • Lord of the Rings Universe (Including The Hobbit)
  • Dragon Age series
  • Elder Scrolls
  • Mass Effect Trilogy
  • Star Trek (I'd love a Discovery one right now!)
  • Star Wars (Specifically the time around the Prequels; while I shan't get into the whole Prequel/Original war on which is better, roleplaying makes for more excitement in the prequel era. Clone Wars guys, c'mon!)
  • Buffy the Vampire Slayer
  • Fringe
  • Greek Mythology (PJO, but with the amount of Camp Half-Blood roleplays that have come and gone, I'd prefer one based more on the Original Mythologies)
  • Norse Mythology
  • Marvel
  • Left 4 Dead
  • The Walking Dead (Or any Post-Apocalypse Roleplay, really.)
  • 'A Song of Ice and Fire' Series
  • House of Night Series
  • True Blood
  • Deus Ex
  • Blood Ties
  • The Vampire Diaries (I admittedly abandoned the show and books when the plot got too boring, but I still like the Universe. I'd join a roleplay based in it, if it had original characters, that is.)
  • Pacific Rim

Aaannndd I'll stop the list here before I go on forever. Basically there's a lot, particularly in the realm of fantasy. Hit me up if you want me in your roleplay, of if you'd like to do a 1x1 based around any of those areas, or even some additional ones if you think I'd be interested. I love original plots and Universes too, especially if they're done well.

Current Active Roleplays:

The Elder Scrolls: Fruits of Contention

Feeling the movement, Niko had realized she was not unconscious as of yet - simply stunned. However, stunned enough to be complacent in her binding, and she remained fairly still as he lowered from his shoulder and sat her nearby the fire, a rock behind her propping her up. "We can't be letting you go yet," Niko began, glancing at Dreet-Na, and glad he wasn't taking the same homicidal stance as Valerion. "We'd like to know why you approached us - and then attacked." He finished, now looking back at the female elf before him. She was still looking fairly dazed, but for the moment, that wasn't what caught his attention. Her near-spectral skin almost shone out beneath the dirt smeared on her face, the whiteness only more illuminated by the fire. Not only that, but her hair was as pale as the snow of Skyrim, and her pointed, angled ears protruded out from beneath her wintry locks - far longer than any Altmer's he had met. And from beneath her pale, half-closed lids, her bright, almost ethereal blue eyes shone. _"This is no ordinary Mer..."_ Niko thought to himself, although didn't voice his thoughts; for some reason, he felt that this would be the last thing this woman would want. "I'm Nikolaus." He added as an afterthought. He'd always found that people tended to be more open or truthful when you introduced yourself with a smile. ----------------------- Rozalia had looked on at their captive with both interest and relief - at least she wasn't dead. Tensions could get high when out in the wilderness, with people constantly on alert; it was a miracle no-one was seriously injured. "Yeah, come on then. You look freezing." She finally said to Idrun, walking back towards the fire and motioning for her to follow. "I'm Rozalia, but you can call me Roze." She said, positioning herself on a log with her back to the fire - opposite side to where Niko had placed their captive. "That Nord over there is Nikolaus, stood with Dreet-Na. We've got another Breton called Valerion - creepy guy, but he obviously knows his stuff - and a Khajiit called Rawlith. We've got a few others too, but they're probably asleep or have wandered off." Roze rattled off all the names she could remember, and a nudge by her foot caught her attention. Glancing down, Leo had removed his cloth from his face, giving her a bleary-eyed glare. "Oh, yeah. And this is Leo, the idiot who got sunburn on his eyes." She added with a scathing look back at him, which he promptly ignored, instead turning his gaze to Idrun with a dashing smile. "Leonidas Conmecticus - but you can me Leo. It's funny - I was just thinking how this group needed more girls. And two more have appeared. Lucky me, huh?" He said with a chuckle, and Roze glanced over her shoulder, frowning. "Uh... I don't think our new friend will be interested much in you Leo. She did just blind you." "An accident, I'm sure." "Yeah, whatever." She replied with a roll of her eyes, looking back at Idrun. "I'd recommend ignoring him - although he does have a point. Apart from me, I think there's only one other female, an Orc. But she doesn't talk much." She explained, then glanced towards the opposite borders of the camp, where Delphine had set up her tent. "And then there's Delphine. She's a Blade, but she's only sticking with us till we hit Kynesgrove, and it's resident flying lizard." Roze finished dryly.
Yeah North, don't worry about any virtual BS; we can take care of it. Take as long as you need before posting hon. As I've said before, real life takes priority - we're not here to make it any worse for you guys. :) xx
Completely agree with Leos. On top of those modifications, I'd also like your sign up to be in accordance with ours and posted on our site - simply for conveniences sake. Your character does look interesting, and I look forward to seeing him in action. You will need to mention in your bio why your character wishes to join Dovahfeyn, and how he finds them while they're at rest. I'll get my post up tomorrow morning guys, so you won't have to wait long! :)
Not that curious. You get Dark Elves being called thus, and Dunmer by NPC's. Same with Altmer or Bosmer, sometimes. It's not odd at all that the term Snow Elf was used.
I thought 'Snow elf' was just the translation that anyone could work out, simply by looking at the other Mer translations. Also, I'll be getting a post up soon guys. Niko can give Faire a gentle interegation, Roze can size up our new Nord friend, and Leo can complain about something. Or y'know, flirt with the new girls. XD
Nah, I'm definitely sticking with this RP - it's awesome! I think if I'm going to drop out, it'll be gifted. There's too many people and twists and turns, if you get my meaning.
Sorry for the delay Teal. I'm a bad person :(
Steph's irritation had lingered somewhat from the brief encounter she had just taken part in, and she looked at Ethan as he - once again, - gave her the option of leaving him. "Of course I'm sure!" She said, then paused, thinking her voice had come out a wee bit too harsh that time. "Sorry. It's just, if I was going to have second thoughts about being friends with you, I wouldn't have tried in the first place." She added, glancing at her feet as they walked along the school halls, still crowded by people, though the majority were ignoring Steph and Ethan - thankfully. Despite the fact that she was now no longer surrounded by girls, that she had lost that sort of protection, she felt like she had been given more freedom now. In fact, as Ethan said, she would most likely be more of a target for the bitches and their dumb jock boyfriends in the school - but she didn't care. It seemed worth it, for Ethan's new found friendship. Realizing this fully, she looked back into Ethan's sky-blue eyes and smiled - a proper smile, not like the shy ones she had given him before. A new realm of possibilities lay before her, and somehow her reality wasn't as bad as it had been before. However, that didn't make her fantasy worlds any less tempting - she would just prefer to share them with Ethan. Oh, if only he could Disconnect...
By the way, how tall exactly is Faire? From the 2 Falmer that I've seen in the Dawnguard DLC, they're pretty tall, but is Faire different? I would assume she's a regular height, because otherwise it would be difficult for her to blend in easily - if I remember correctly, the Falmer were taller than Altmer.
Rozalia followed Rawlith's instructions immediately; still pulling on her boots as her teeth chattered in the sudden cold, she made her way back to the camp. Rawlith was nowhere to be seen, nor was the unknown attacker. However, nobody seemed to be as badly hurt as Roze had thought they would. Dreet-Na had blood stained robes and a sour expression on his face as he lingered by the rock, and Leo appeared to be blind. Walking over to them, she couldn't help but smile at the way Nikolaus and Leonidas acted. Despite their obvious differences, you could tell they were related. Perhaps not brothers, but they acted like them enough. Niko's face was a mixture of disapproval, annoyance and relief, while Leo's was just plain irritated - the guy wasn't even worried about his eyes. Niko felt a pang of horror deep in the pit of his stomach as Leo fell backwards, the sudden sharpness of the magelight dissipating around him. Although tempted to run immediately after the unknown assailant, Niko instead ran over to Leo, who was rubbing his eyes in a dazed manner, still on the floor. "You alright Leo?" Nikolaus asked, offering a hand out for him. "I'm just terrific, cousin." Leo muttered, removing his hands from his eyes and looking around blindly. They were watering and bloodshot, but thankfully they were still there - for a moment, Niko had been fearing empty sockets. "I enjoy peering at the void." "Ah, quit complaining. It'll only be temporary." He swiftly retorted, grabbing his cousin's outstretched hand and pulling him to his feet. Glancing around, he saw the rogue - Roze, walking towards them, a slight smile of amusement on her face as she looked at them. Niko couldn't blame her - his cousin was known for acting like a world-class idiot. "Could you lead him to the fire? I want to go and see who attacked us." Niko asked, glancing behind him, towards where the person had fled, Rawlith following from the side. In the far distance he could make out standing silhouettes - she hadn't gotten far, that was obvious. "Sure." Roze replied happily, grabbing Leo's wrist as he stumbled after her, muttering something about Magelight being quite an effective weapon, and why hadn't _he_ thought of it first? It didn't take long for Nikolaus to run towards Rawlith, and as he got closer, he noticed Valerion had returned, with some wild game discarded on the floor beside him. His sword was drawn, and the assailant - a woman, Niko could see now - was on the floor, eyes closed and unconscious. Rawlith was glaring at Valerion, and Niko slowed as he stepped up to them. "So... you got her then." He began, measuring the situation up. The woman was on the floor, but not dead. Clearly, Valerion had been ready to kill her - hence the drawn sword - and Rawlith had stopped him - hence the tense atmosphere. Crouching by the girl, Nikolaus wound some rope around her wrists and ankles, binding them tightly, but not uncomfortably. He then picked her up, slinging her over his shoulder with ease. "We can question her in the morning." He added in a final sort of tone, looking at Rawlith and Valerion expectantly. He didn't want to act like the de facto leader, but he certainly wasn't going to let Valerion carve this woman up. "Thanks for the elk, by the way. That should keep us going for a while." He added, stepping back towards the camp and inclining his head slightly at Rawlith, indicating for him to follow. A slight frown appeared on Niko's face as he thought on his words - the Elk? Valerion had said he was going into the village for supplies; Niko knew fine well that meat wasn't sold as a whole. Then where in Oblivion had Valerion been all this time? Once Leo had settled himself comfortably by the fire, a cold cloth draped over his eyes and a content smile on his face - man, that guy could get comfy anywhere - Roze wandered back towards the entrance of the camp when a newcomer appeared; asking to share their fire. It was a Nord woman, dressed in steel armour and with a decent sword at her hip. Roze narrowed her eyes ever so slightly as she took in this newcomer. "I suppose it couldn't hurt." She said after a moment. "Were you interested in joining us? Is that why you're here?" She added, arms folded across her chest, rolling her weight onto one foot casually. Although seemingly nonchalant, her hypervigilant eyes were taking in everything about this woman. All her life, she had known not to trust strangers, and to always be suspicious. Now, back at High Hrothgar, she didn't feel the need to be suspicious towards any of the members - or at the very least, not suspicious enough to worry about being around them - but now, it seemed different. Perhaps it was because of the attack that had just occurred, or even the notion of facing a dragon in a week's time, but for some reason, she felt that this stranger would need to prove her motives somewhat. Because if one see's a fire in the wilderness, you shouldn't really approach it - who knows what could be warming themselves around it. It was twice as risky for women, for obvious reasons.
