Arachne was about to reply to him when he cut her off and forced her against a wall. She gasped surprised at his sudden aggressive demeanor, then glared at him lightly. 'I passed the test didn't I? If I wanted you to fall, I'd decapitated you when I had the chance.' she replied coldly.

She smiled a bit looking up at him, still laying down on the bed. 'I can see every soul there is and read it like a book. Yours is a bit foggy, but it's still pretty clear.' she tapped his chest again, lightly getting up. 'And somewhere deep down, you enjoy this.' she smirked playfully.

Zayne blushed a bit, having somewhat done that. She almost purred when Liz praised her and immediately headed toward their room. 'Drug?' she asked Liz interested.

Nari was panting lightly when she heard Leon. She glanced over her shoulder and nodded somewhat, trying to control herself. 'You're welcome...' she said softly.

'Even then it was a bad call. Locking her up first and giving her time to consider had been better. Now you'll make her an enemy before she will ever agree to help you.' she stated. She scoffed lightly as he noted he didn't want her to question him.

'Aww, but you do. Somewhere deep inside you love this.' she grinned mischievously. 'There's no need denying it, I can see your soul.' she ran her finger toward a spot on his chest. 'Right here.'

Zayne wobbly got up and started running again. She didn't encounter anybody at first, but they soon encountered a human, who she crashed into and immediately sucked into her body.

Nari looked at him a bit hurt as he reacted that way to her treatment, then got back to the bed. She turned her back towards him and cringed as her body started to burn up more. She shivered lightly, covering her chest with one hand and her privates with the other, her cheeks rosy again in color.

Blake stood up quickly. "It's a nice plan, but what if the enemy silently slipped passed us, from behind us?" he asked knowing he had a good point. "I'll be more then honored to help with the sealing but, I would also like to volunteer as a lookout." He said placing a hand on his sniper. "I'm more then capable of being able to detect any movement and let along anyone who hides in the shadows." He said his eyes turning silver then a demonic purple then back. He sat back down and shook his head and rubbed his eyes. he never switched so fast between eagle vision (The silver) to heat vision (Demonic purple) then to normal sight in his life.

Mina looked over at Blake as he stood up, but spoke to Mike first. 'With all due respect Captain, I think Nari should use her skills to her full potential. She is not one of long range combat and protecting the sealers will require that first and foremost. Furthermore we do not need anybody getting distracted by one another, as the others already stated.' she said.
She returned her attention to Blake again. 'The offer is generous and I will gladly accept it if the sealing turns out to be an easy task. It will be one of the most draining tasks at least, so the more people can help with it, the better. As for the look-out, I've managed to contract a Banshee some time ago. She, alongside two of my elite hell-hounds, will keep watch at the entrance. My hounds can take out any threat ranging from small to medium and the banshee will notify us of any intruder, as well as attempt to paralyze them on sight.' she explained.

Upon spotting Jurano walking in her gaze darkened a bit. 'You're late... again.' she stated and rubbed the bridge of her nose. 'Next time I'll buy you an alarm clock in Hell. It will be fun to watch you as you try to get it off your face.' she stated.
She quickly summarized the story and mission so far and sighed. 'Either way, when we seal the artifact I want you to stand by us as protector. Also, I will overload the circuits when we get there, so I want you to light up our path a bit when we go in. The place is quite a maze inside and I don't want anybody to wander around and get lost. Every group will get a certain pattern and mark the walls at every turn so we know which path is clear and which isn't, okay?' she explained to the entire group again.

'That is, unless you have any objections, of course?' she stated to Mike.

The Dark Carnival

Mina looked at Shadow and looked at Esme thoughtfully, unknowingly starting to brush over the bird's feathers as she thought. The girl seemed to have a difficult time here, since she arrived. She had been introduced as Hag's sister, but their relationship seemed to aim towards much more than just that. The look on the girl's face as Hag lay his hand on Chance, the clowngirl he had obviously craved for so long, was filled with doubt and disappointment. She looked up as she took note of her own actions, petting Shadow gently. She had never been quite fond of the bird, but for some reason he felt comfortable to have on her shoulder. She had foggy memories about her evening of feeding, but faintly remembered Shadow, so she figured it must be because of that. Upon hearing Shadow speak she looked up interested and continued to pet the bird. 'So Hag and Mortimer were ordered to come back here or something bad happens to all of us? Wow, never looked at Hag as somebody that could be ordered around. Who is that "High Father" person you speak of Shadow?' she asked.

Arachne walked along, her face a bit dark. 'You shouldn't have blackmailed her like that.. She'll be pissed off too much to not think about killing you. It was a bad call to threaten the human, even worse to actually hurt him.' she said.

She grinned and nipped the skin of his jaw teasingly. 'Then tell me.'

Zayne yelped a bit in surprise when two tentacles stretched out of her body. It felt extremely weird to her, but as Liz offered him to her as food she smiled a bit. The demon was dissolved quicker than before and left her panting and trembling in pleasure again.

Nari crawled onto her feet and moved over to him hastily, pulling him up a bit gently and leaning him against the wall. She didn't say a word as she created a poison and dripped it into her hands before spreading it as gentle as possible over the burn. Not all of Nari's poison's had a bad effect, not if she wanted it to. This one would cool his wound and stimulate his cells to start healing. They would have a bad effect if it was used for a long time, but not this once.
